This business needs to coordinate with Groupon to prevent the app from allowing you to buy multiple groupons. They need to recognize that some things get lost in translation and simply hiding behind ambiguously-worded fine print is an unethical way of operating your business. **PLEASE NOTE: ANY GROUPON IS LIMITED TO 1 PER PERSON FOR LIFE. My car's AC had recently started to blow hot air. I took it to the Honda Dealership in SLC in…read moreattempt to have a Honda parts warranty cover the repair or Honda customer service cover it. I was charged $200 for the diagnostic test to identify that my compressor needed to be replaced since it was overheating internally and had melted coils (had a shaft seal leak too which is under warranty with Honda but still couldn't get the diagnostic test fee waived after protesting it). Honda customer service put up a fight to cover the compressor replacement since they didn't know if the shaft seal leak or the compressor overheating internally happened first. Dealer quoted over $3,200 to fix the problem and all the parts are on back order. I called up Chuck's based on a friend's recommendation and spoke to Rocky. Right off the bat, he radiated honesty. He took the time to listen to my rambling of what I thought was wrong with my car and gave me a very fair quote compared to another shop in the South SLC area. The day I dropped my car off, I called one more time beforehand to ensure this shop would be a good fit. I spoke to Rocky again who reassured me that he didn't want the dealer's diagnostic report, the dealerships can be dishonest, and that he wanted to take a look and diagnose the problem himself to ensure he could fix my car properly. I dropped my car off within an hour after the phone call. Drop off was super smooth, I didn't need to give out a lot of personal information, and I was able to have a family member meet me at the shop to take me home. Turnaround time was about one business day. It turns out the Honda diagnosis matched Chuck's shop diagnosis but I didn't have to wait on parts to come in and the repair cost almost HALF of what the dealership quoted me. Rocky was very easy to work with and had a lot of patience with me over the phone. His quote matched what I ended up paying. I highly recommend this shop if you can have a ride set up to pick you up and drop you off to have your car worked on. Now I am ready to enjoy the summer heat with some ice cold AC! I have lived in Murray, Utah since 1995, I have driven past this Quick Lube place a thousand times…read morebut never went in. I happen to be in the area and was overdue for a simple oil change so I stopped by. It was the first and last time I'll ever go. If I could give zero stars I would simply because I generally detest dishonest and swindlers who gleefully squeeze honest, hardworking people, out of their hard earned money.  Like many other dissatisfied customers in these reviews, I went in for a simple  oil change. Like many other dissatisfied customers in these reviews I too was called and told my air filters were "trashed" and should be replaced. "Sure! Why not? Those filters are only like $12 bucks a pop," I said.  No correction there. I was also told I might as well get my emissions done since my tags are due next month.  Now on a good day, I may not look it, but I'm north of 33. I've had my oil changed a time of two. Heck, I'd do it myself if it wasn't 35 degrees out! So I agreed because I figured an oil change is $60, emissions another $25 (I have a 2011 car), a couple of air filters are another $24. Plus the DMV fee which should be the most expensive thing, is between $90-$100 (turned out to be $91). No big deal.  I KID YOU NOT, my bill came out to  $318.00!  I included my receipts below which do not include the $91 DMV fee. $173.37 + $54 (had to transfer money so it was two transactions) that's $227.37 for an OIL CHANGE, EMISSIONS, and 2 AIR FILTERS. It took everything in me not to raise all kinds of hell. It was supposed to be more, but I told them to leave out a visor replacement because the visor alone was a ridiculous $150. I KNOW I can get a brand spanking new visor at Pick-N-Pull or Tear Apart for $10 tops! I even mentioned this to Scott who said I shouldn't do that because it would, "have the same problem." That one was a real head scratcher. So I played dumb and asked Scott how much each thing was, he mumbled something about synthetic oil, and couldn't look me in the eye, instead looking down at some incomprehensible chicken scratch he wrote on a paper (also pictured below). As I transferred money from my savings (yes, my hard earned savings meant to buy my elderly dog his medication), I asked again how much the oil change was specifically, and Scott couldn't give me a straight answer.  At least Jiffy Lube will ask if you want to go with synthetic oil because it's more expensive. Not at Quick Lube, they'll rake you over the coals then patiently watch you squirm to come up with money for the bill. It's a disgusting business practice, and as a woman not the first time I've had it done to me. It's really a shame because since I live close to this Quick Lube, had they charged me a fair price for their hard work I would have happily returned over and over again. I would have told everyone I know  the oil change was done quickly in under an hour. I gladly give credit where credit is due. Look at my review history here, I give away 5 stars like it's candy on Halloween. So when I write a one star review you know it's bad.  I will NEVER go back here again, and rest assured whenever possible, I will tell anyone and everyone I can about my experience with the dishonest swindling going on at the Quick Lube in Murray, on 900 E next to Quick Quack, across the street from EOS, and Walgreens. Good people of Utah, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
