I find it extremely immature that you took to your facebook page to complain about a moms' group. Contact an admin of the group. Broadcasting a complaint as though you're being victimized is pathetic. Did I have an issue with your business before this? No, I did not. Will I shop there after seeing how you handled this? No, I definitely will not. Review after review of parents saying the same thing is not making you out to be a victim and if you see it that way, you may not be the right sort of person to own a public business.

The store offers such a great selection of quality made, and fun to wear clothing for sleeping, lounging, and so much more, for women, men, and children. I first discovered Hatley sleep and lounge wear products here in Burnaby, via another retail store handling some of their offerings. My lady and daughter have enjoyed several of my purchases as gifts for birthdays, holidays, and some buys made just for those 'thinking-of-you', and for the 'fun-of-it' times. The long, sleeping and lounging shirts, down booties, and such sure lend well to those last two occasions! The Hatley store in Victoria was the first time I had actually seen a full-range of their products displayed and sold in their own store - and wow, what a difference - so much to see and be able to consider. And such great fun for the three of us to browse through all the colourful and amusing designs. On our most recent visit (late-April), I took note of some great potential gift ideas for them (a couple for me too!) for upcoming events. A fine little shop, with friendly and helpful service. I will have a shopping list in hand when we get back to Victoria and the Hatley store this fall.

(There's 3 locations in Canada - Vancouver, Victoria and Calgary which all opened in December 2009). Why am I writing a review on the Lululemon spin-off for kids clothing? Well, it's AWESOME for small petite gals who have to get everything hemmed at Lululemon! Sizes go up to size 12 kids here which is great if you're a size 4 or smaller at Lululemon. The pants here are the right length for petites but honestly, you'd need to have no hips/really boyish body for them to really fit well. I can get them on, but it's not pretty. The hoodies are another story though. For those of us who are smaller on top too, the kids hoodies have sleeves that are the right length and the jackets aren't too long on me. Definitely a cute stop for trendy kids yoga wear and for shorties like me! And I save about $20 by wearing kids clothes too :) Yay!

I have now unsubscribed 8 times, but continue to get 4 emails per day. I sent them an email a week ago and received no response. I called them yesterday and was put on hold for 36 minutes, then a recording came on asking if I was satisfied with the service, I indicated that I was not, then they the call disconnected. I then sent them another email outlining the same info contained here, and also advised that it is not legal to force email advertisements on their customers and that I found them harassing in nature. I then received a bounce back email advising that a representative would be contacting shortly. They have not contacted me and I continue to receive 4 emails per day. So frustrating, sigh...

I have spent money at the store quite a few times and was very put off that they were not helpful at all. I did not feel valued as a customer. I was very dismayed at the customer service. I have a son (who is seven that I have been shopping at the store since he was a newborn) and am expecting my second child and have a lot of pregnant friends as well as friends who have just had babies. I will definitely be sharing this horrible experience with mentioned friends. As this pregnancy is our first daughter I have been doing probably a little too much baby girl clothes shopping at a variety of stores and have never had such a terrible experience at any other store. Will not be going back to Gymboree.

To date, I'm quite happy with the purchase of an adorable striped cotton/linen dress and a silk screen scarf with a distinctive hare pattern that I'm constantly getting complimented on. I had a ton of fun in here trying things on and looking around. The customer service was incredibly friendly, but not pushy or aggressive. To be honest, I feel like a lot of boutique shops in Victoria have a snobby "you're not good enough to be in my shop" attitude, and it was so refreshingly lovely not to encounter any of that here. Honestly, this one caught my attention solely because of it's adorable & "easy-going" sounding name. Milkman's Daughter? Adorable! Sounds like a shop I would love to visit. It was not even a block away from the cafe we were enjoying coffee. Appealing storefront & we were warmly greeted (and compliment) by the nice gal working that day! I felt welcomed & comfortable browsing the shop. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything neither was I made to feel inferior as some boutiques may make some people feel. They got some lovely local products, handmade stuff of all sorts. Also, they have clothing for babies, toys, adorable books & toys! There is definitely something for everyone in here. I recommend popping in yourself & paying them a visit!

They were so helpful and the service was amazing. I had been talking with another company in Vancouver that sold a similar product, and chose The Good Planet because of the service. (As an aside, the Vancouver company was completely atrocious). The bed is amazing, the best bed I've owned, and worth every penny. They let me put the bed on layaway, and because of that it let me convince the person sleeping on the other side of the bed, that we really did need to buy the complete natural, toxin free package. He's just upgraded to a natural shredded rubber pillow, and loves it as well. When you buy a bed, they offer 10% off all the linens and pillows for any future purchases. They also allowed my brother-in-law to return a shredded rubber pillow that had seemed to not hold up, I brought it in the store for an exchange when buying the new pillow, no trouble at all. Since moving and expanding from the old location, they've brought in even more products. Their buying practices, and just their taste, is awesome. This is absolutely the best store to buy gifts, for yourself, or anyone. I can't believe it's not on Yelp yet, but I'm very stoked to be the first to review. You'll find everything from toxin free kid toys, clothes, home composting kits, Level Ground Coffee, natural cleaning supplies, fair trade baskets, unique sustainable gifts, tons of great kitchen options, tools, towels, dishes, it's a never ending journey of fabulous when you explore this beautiful shop. So, if you are like me, and prefer to support all things eco, or if you're just curious and need some convincing that eco doesn't always mean patchouli, head to The Good Planet, one of the best shops I've ever been to.
