I have been a regular customer here for several years now but all of that is changing as of now…read morebecause of the extremely poor customer service. First I had purchased a reel from here that took months to get figured out due to no one having "authority" to do anything about. I just recently had gotten a rod and reel combo for father's day as well. While catfishing at Fort Gibson, a spoonbill must have gotten snagged on my line and long story short my pole broke into pieces before I could do anything. These poles according to the manufacturer are rated for catfishing, pier, and surf fishing.These poles come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty on top of being told at the store that if I had any problems to just bring the item back. My wife brought what was left of the pole ( rest fell in the water) and tried to exchange it (Saturday) which my neighbor across the street had just done recently because of the exact same issue with the same combo. She was told it would not be until Monday that the owner would have to come in and look at it to make a decision. So I went up there myself on Sunday and Joann the owner was there. I explained what happened and was told that my pole had been abused and that my wife was extremely hateful with them. First off, I take VERY good care of all of my fishing equipment so any "abuse" would have been while it stayed the night at their at the shop. When I went in and began to explain, she was the one who began to get hateful with me. At first she told me to take the reel off and purchase a new rod. I was told they no longer carry this (fin chaser) combo anymore and was told that there is no 1 year warranty. I found it funny that they stopped carrying this pole after the first one broke and my friend had to exchange his as well. After she tried to argue with me about it a bit she said, "I'm tired of this, come pick another pole." I received another pole after being treated like I was lying about my situation and with terrible customer service. This was a huge disappointment as I had no problems here before as my friend and I would stop by almost every weekend to pick up bait and tackle. This is the first time I had ever purchased a pole from them and it will be the last. After this incident however I would advise anyone who is thinking of making a purchase here for anything other than bait, be careful because the "policies" change so often. Extremely dissatisfied with the level of customer service here. What happened to the customer is always right? I had I know for myself and the people I go fishing with regularly will be taking our business elsewhere due to all of the difficulty we have run into at this location. We've lived in Tulsa for decades and have always utilized PetSmart as our official groomer. The…read morekids working at PetSmart are nice and respectful, but our unexpected grooming experience at Aurora Kennels/Grooming facility has made us immediate transfer customers. We have a beautiful black Cairn terrier named Milo. He is a handsome, energetic, bundle of curiosity and life. We took a vacation recently and needed to board him. Aurora's policy is to have all dogs bathed on check-in and they must have current vet records showing up to date immunizations. They offer a bath and grooming package for dogs boarding. We took it and wow. For the first time ever we've had people stop and ask what breed of dog Milo is and how cute he was. Everybody in my family on the day of pick up commented about how fantastic he looked and was acting. He strutted around the house and yard like he was a prime stud dog. Tail straight up and head high, as if he knew how he looked. We laughed out loud. The difference? For the first time ever our Cairn was cut perfectly to the AKC Cairn standard. Not like a short haired rat that was being used as a grooming dummy to train novice grooming students. The facility and kennels were very clean. The workers very professional and informative. Great listeners. One employee, Julie, in conjunction with her AKC judge husband, own the number one ranked champion Saluki in the nation. Their dog won Westminister last year I believe. They understand dogs and have worked with them all her life. For compassionate care, communication, cleanliness, thoroughness, and such a pleasant disposition that only Chick-fil-a employees seem to exude in today's service sector, I give Aurora Kennels/Grooming 5 stars without reservation.
