I've been to this Goodwill a few times over the years, and it's just not my favorite. First off, it…read moreliterally smells like cat pee inside. In fact, I couldn't even stay more than about 30 seconds in the women's clothing area before I had to hightail it to the other, "fresher" side of the store. The merch here is pretty ratty. My guess is, because of their far north location, they probably aren't in the PNW Goodwill pipeline, where donations get distributed across a broad area. It feels more like this is just local stuff being donated, and much of it is picked over, broken, or in other ways non-functional. One example is a board game which, upon opening the box contained not one piece from the original game it had once held - it was just a box of junk. I guess they don't screen their stuff very well. The parking lot is a bit shady, as well. And I don't mean with trees. Sadly, we had to step over used syringes on the way back to our car.

I really LOVE this little store! It is clean and well…read moreorganized. The owner has high standards as to what she WILL or WON'T sell or consign. We find many adorable used clothes and toys here. To me they are very reasonably priced for the quality. She does also carry brand new items which are priced higher. The owner also promotes other small business by selling locally made items in her store and donates to a local children's clothing charity. It isn't a dirty thrift store where you get what you pay for. Oh..........and yes...... There is ONE step going into the store.

I was not prepared for the absolute show-stopper that he produced. Not only does sole look even better than what I'd expect from the factory, but he reconditioned the whole boot. These boots look better than the day I bought them. For the amazing work he puts out, I'd fully expect to pay double the price. It's obvious he puts in a huge amount of care and attention to each detail, and the professional pride absolutely comes through. I'm moving away soon but I intend to package and ship all my boots to him in the future. He is that good.
