I gave a honest review several yrs ago on this business however it was not pleasing to the owner. Instead of being a caring individual he was even ruder the next time I was in. When you think you're the only shoe repair man in town. As a business owner you have a choice to be a human or a jerk , he chose to tell me he did not want to serve me, my club foot was too difficult for his art. I brought in a tired pair of Wolverine 1000-mile boots that had been neglected for 10+ years, asking him to replace the leather sole with a vibram half-sole. I was not prepared for the absolute show-stopper that he produced. Not only does sole look even better than what I'd expect from the factory, but he reconditioned the whole boot. These boots look better than the day I bought them. For the amazing work he puts out, I'd fully expect to pay double the price. It's obvious he puts in a huge amount of care and attention to each detail, and the professional pride absolutely comes through. I'm moving away soon but I intend to package and ship all my boots to him in the future. He is that good. read more

Shop owner seemed like a no nonsense type of guy and makes for a hell of a shoe smith. It's no surprise this guy is busy. Store is full of new and used shoes, leather goods, motorcycle gear - items that are really nice quality & lots of Harley Davidson...! Owner repaired the soles of two leather pairs of shoes I had and went above and beyond to repair a few other things without even asking which was really nice. Will be back. read more

The owner responded to my query immediately. He asked questions about what kind of repair I needed for my shoes. I sent him pictures and he determined he could repair them. He told when he was available to do the repair and what it would cost. I made an appt and he did a wonderful job repairing my shoes which were vintage 1982. I brought into him my favorite pair of leather boots that I wear all the time in the fall and winter. As a result not surprisingly I wore the soles out on them. I have a pair of Keen leather sneaker type shoes I purchased about 1 1/2 years ago and they have become my favorite shoes. I have literally worn them every day since I purchased them, with a few minor exceptions. Imagine my disappointment when the top loop that the lace needs for tying them broke. I was almost ready to go out and buy a new pair, and the shoes are not cheap. Then I discovered this little shoe repair operation and I took my shoes there. Not only did he fix them within a couple of minutes while I waited, but he said it was a minor repair and there would be no charge. You don't get much better than this. Great service, quick turnaround, good prices. Took in a pair of elkskin motorcycle gloves to get some tired Velcro on them replaced. He decided to add a little more Velcro than was originally there so now they are better than before. Dropped off late Tuesday afternoon. They were ready first thing Thursday when I went to pick them up. Definitely recommend and will use for any future needs. read more
