As I was leaving I replied that her listing on the internet says she's open until 5pm (see TWO different listings attached here saying the shop is open until 5). She disputed that saying she changed the time to 3, which is an absolute lie as the attached screencaps show she closes at 5pm. I didn't care to argue particularly as there was another woman in the shop. She then said, "it'll take a half hour anyway." A half hour would've made it 4:40, or 20 minutes BEFORE her advertised closing time. Dishonest, insincere, and low class, I would recommend using any graphics shop around rather than Flashover.

During that time, I have visited once or twice a month and have spent hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars with your business. Until recently, my experiences were consistently professional. Over the last six months, however, I have noticed a dramatic change in the way I am treated by certain employees. While one of your male employees has always been courteous, professional, and helpful, two female employees have repeatedly displayed hostility, disrespect, and unprofessional behavior toward me. On June 3, 2026, I came into your store to make approximately 150 copies. The copier was not functioning properly. An employee attempted to use the machine multiple times without success. I then requested only a few copies. No one informed me that there would be a different charge because an employee was making the copies rather than me making them myself. When I received my bill and asked about the pricing difference, I was met with an argumentative and dismissive attitude rather than a professional explanation. As I attempted to explain the situation, one employee repeatedly interrupted me, became increasingly rude, and refused to listen. Another employee eventually told her to stop arguing and move on. This was not an isolated incident. It was simply the latest example of a pattern of disrespectful treatment that I have experienced from the same individuals. I have never been rude, threatening, or disruptive in your store. In fact, over seven years, I have spoken very little to these employees beyond normal customer interactions. Yet I continue to be treated as though I am unwelcome. As a long-time customer, I find this disappointing. Customers should not be subjected to hostility, gossip, judgment, or unprofessional conduct while conducting ordinary business. Whether an employee personally likes a customer is irrelevant. Professionalism is part of the job. I am bringing this matter to your attention because I believe management should know how customers are being treated. Dan did my hatch, after I picked it up, I made a mistake and destroyed a bracket on the new hatch. He made time right as they were closing, went above and beyond helping me and got me back out there so I could salvage the weekend. The owner asked if I had had a few minutes, within 15 minutes, I had a new zipper installed perfectly with a freshly sewn stop! I asked the gentlemen how much, and he said no charge! This is not only how you market your business in a small town with a local feel, but you win over new customers. I actually need work done on my Bimini top which will be to add zippers for easy on, easy off. Guess where I'm taking it? That's right! 928! Great shop! Great guys! Great service! Thank you 928!
