He came over while i was vacuuming and noticed my car was still kinda dirty. I have a member ship and he had me go through twice and came over and scrubbed off all the bird poop on my car. Last Friday myself along with five other customers went through the TLC carwash on Hope Mills Road. All of the cars came out of the tunnel with a dirty, greasy, and smelly film on our vehicles. Two of those vehicles were from the sheriff's office and they could not wait around for them to figure it out. They never fixed the problem. They gave me a gift certificate to go to another location; however, after telling me $20 was loaded on the card, there was $0 on the card. Thankfully the young man on Main St. was understanding and ran my car through the wash twice. My tires were still grimy. I am a loyal monthly customer, but this is unacceptable. I have been coming here for 3 years or more. I don't know what has happened but the quality of the wash has gone down drastically the last few months. The wash leaves behind bugs and a white residue. Didn't use to do this. In the last two months I have had oil on my car from the wash sump pump not operating properly and today the machine ran me into the car in front of me today which had stopped at the exit. Went to get my car inspected I pulled it into their service center lift in my car up with no problem my car's check engine light was not on I failed for two headlights which they did not offer to replace for me and and I could pay the bulbs that went into the lights they been decided to pull my vehicle out of their service center at which time they bent my muffler on the lift and then decide then proceeded to say that they are not liable I then asked for their corporate managers number and they refused to give me the number that was poor customer service skill on their part and I feel as they should have repaired my vehicle after they messed it up now my car sounds like crap and is not longer running properly read more

Unethical practices: I took my wife car in for watch and inspection ; and the dude : Brandon daws did my inspection and failed because he said he could not determine if I had tint or not . Than charge me for tint fee when I didn't have any tint. Meanwhile the tint was noted as an N/A on the inspection breakdown. My wife went to get an oil change and inspection done. Guy said she would fail due to excessive sun exposure to the wiper blades and they would not last the next year. The blades work fine drive the car myself numerous times. they wanted to charge her another 30$ for the blades. Place is garbage go somewhere else and not have to worry about getting ripped off. Took the vehicle to a jiffy lube down the road vehicle passed no issues. Told the guy about it and said that is common practice to squeeze more money out of customers. Did not wipe out the side doors and the biggest issue would not answer the phone. Went there today o get my seats shampooed (I have a 3 year old girl and she loves to throw food in the car when she is done with it) and I wish I took before pictures because the guy did an AMAZIN job!! Paid $59 for a car wash with detail to the interior. No one would do the inside of my car so I did it myself as I was on a time limit. Went in to the office and was told "I can't give refunds I'm just the assistant manager, come back in the morning and the manager can do it." While my preference is a hand wash, I really wanted an undercarriage wash due to the brine left on the roads in preparation for the recent snow and ice storms. This is an automated machine wash, and you start at an automated pay station, and since I wasn't really prepared for that I caused a small traffic jam. You sit in your car during the wash process, then you drive it around where the vacuum stations are. You will be directed to the stalls farthest from the road where the guys work really really hard to do the final cleaning and apply the stuff you ordered at the pay station. When all was said and done my truck was very clean. The hard work of the guy assigned to my truck was evident inside and out. While I tried to chase him down to give an extra tip (in addition to the tip pre-selected at the automatic pay station) he walked away and disappeared too fast. read more

I came to get my car cleaned today, mind you I've only had this car this car three weeks so other than some dust and needing a vacuum it wasn't bad. I paid $40.00 for a full service wash with armor all. I come out, my rear bumper is just as dirty as when I brought it in, the armor all job is extremely streaky, and there were still rings in my cup holders. i would say, this was maybe a $15.00 job instead. next time, I will just do it myself. next time, I'll listen to the reviews instead of "figuring it out myself". read more

And when they had to tell me there was fine sand that they couldn't get out, they tried vacuuming it over and over, they gave a suggestion of getting a lot remover to try! I didn't have the heart to tell them they didn't have to try so hard, I just got here (my car too) from hawaii! I went through the car wash and it ripped the stripping off the roof of my car (that is stock) dawn in the office informed me that my car is old and that it was damaged prior to going through the car wash. Went here this past weekend. After spending an outrageous amount on the exterior wash, had to select another price for interior to be cleaned. This really wasn't the issue. After the exterior of the car was cleaned, I pulled it over to the side to have the interior cleaned. The girl doing the cleaning was doing/did a great job, but, every time another car came to the car wash, she stopped working on my car, walked over to start the next car in the car wash. This happened many many times while I was waiting. I spoke to an assistant manager named Amanda I think was her name. She had a hard time understanding why this was even an issue. she claimed that the interior cleaners job was to do that. I explained that that is the problem, management shouldn't have them stop working on cars so they can get done and that they needed a separate employee to do the other job. This seemed to go over her head because when I explained to her that it was poor customer service, she explained they are all customers and the irony was that she said "it was a first come, first serve basis" which makes no sense since by the by the time a car is being cleaned on the inside, they were there first, not the new arrivals. I've been using TLC car wash for years at several location. Never had a bad experience until now. Long story short I got my car washed, but before I went through the wash bay one of the employees put a plastic bad over my rear wiper arm/blade, after the wash I pulled up to the vacuum to wipe my car down. That's when I noticed my rear wiper arm/blade was broken with no plastic bag on it. I asked to speak with the manager. After about 10 minutes the manager (Logan) shows up. I showed him the damage. Well he looked at the damage and tells me there is nothing he can do because it looks like to him this was an old crack because the wiper arm did not have white showing were the break was and to him that ment it was cracked before. I told him how can there be a white crack when the arm is black plastic all the way through! I ask to speak to his boss he told me he could not give his number and that he was the location manager. So I left my number for his boss but I got no call from his boss, I got a call from him (Logan) he advised me that they would not replace my property but that if I bought a replacement they would install it, would there not be some Liability in that if they installed the new one? No Thanks. Oh yeah while I was there two other customers, one said he had the same problem awhile back and they replaced his. The other customer at the same time had a problem with damage to the one of the racks on the roof of his suv. Now had Logan just told me the sign states they are not responsible for damage. Ok! Stopped by TLC CAR WASH on Hope Mills Road to vaccum, get car washed and get an oil change..... none of this happened.! When I pulled my vehicle in to do the vaccuming I noticed the lady in the car beside me had the hose that I was supposed to use and I made her aware of this and asked if she would mind switching hoses and she said the hoses were not assigned to a particular vehicle And I could move or wait for her to finish or I could go to hell, and stated that she didn't care which one I picked but just shut up about it........ so I moved and vacuumed out the car at the end........ after i finished with that I wanted to get the oil changed before I washed the car so I saw that no one was in the bay and asked the gentleman ,what I needed to do to get my oil changed and he said that it would be at least 30 to 45 minutes before it could be done. I said to the gentleman that there is no one in line and he stated that was going to be my wait time and I let him know about the rude lady and he said if it was an employee who was being rude that he could do something about it but he would not say anything to the rude lady......I don't recommend anyone using this place and if i could give no stars I would.I was able to drive down the road about 2 miles and get this done and was treated with respect......I am guessing TLC CAR WASH did not want my business read more
