I wanted to let the world know that TLC Contracting is absolutely the best contractor in the Butte/Anaconda area! Here is my foundation for this top review:
1. The owner, Tracy Clemens, actually responded to my initial phone call, in a timely manner. It was a relief to actually get a call back!
2. I live in Washington DC and wanted to orchestrate and pay for a renovation in Anaconda MT. She was able to work via email and phone on the development of the plans, purchases, problem-solving and payments (the 4 P's of contracting!) in a timely, courteous, and very professional manner. To do this, she had to be responsive, engaged, with great follow-up and follow-through. Her use of technology for communication made this possible, and easy.
3. She was trustworthy. Her bids were clear so there was little confusion about what was in and what would outside the terms of the contract. There was one issue that came up re some supplies and she readily acknowledged that the bill would be reduced accordingly. Yet from a distance, it was clearly possible for her to take advantage. She did not. Not once.
4. She was incredibly flexible. We had trouble with the plumbers, trouble with delays that my side inadvertently generated. We added new items to the contract, as we went, some of which were extensive, based on problems that emerged over the course of the project, as well as on the basis of our changing/new desires.
5. She kept her word in terms of time frames, and delays were not her fault, but a function of problems on the project. She kept her cool. Progress was steady, through completion.
6. Her team, on the ground, is extraordinary----they did excellent, very high quality work. They were careful. And they were thorough, with a clear pride in workmanship. We could not have asked for better work from her team.
Finally, I normally do not take the time to do reviews. But TLC Contracting is SO SUPERB, that I had to share this information, for all of you who want to get contracting done, with excellent outcomes, for a fair price, in a timely and professional manner. read more
