The gentleman who came out was polite, helpful and spent a long time attempting to find and diagnose the problem. Even though he was unable to fix my problem he was clear in why and didn't charge me more than for what he had done (fixed a leaking valve that was unrelated). He provided me all that was needed for the next guy to know exactly what the problem was and made clear notes for him as well to help expedite the final repair. I am happy to report, I was WRONG on both counts, an appointment was made, they came when they said they would and, I found the price to be more than reasonable. We were having an issue with the floor drain overflowing in the laundry room (partly because of roots in the main line and partly because of muck in the clean out drain behind the washer). Who knew there was a clean out drain behind the washer? Will came out and was able to clear the problems and was very patient when I would ask questions. He gave me answers that I understood and suggestions to help alleviate the problems with the laundry drain collecting lint. Everyone I spoke with was great but, Will - as the face of Best Value - was absolutely incredible. When we returned back to our property after being away for several months we were told that we needed to have them come back to remove the antifreeze in the pipes and turn on the water. When the technician arrived we were informed that the only thing we needed to do was open our water valves under the sinks. Apparently he wasn't concerned about the antifreeze in the city water supply. We took it upon ourselves to open all water valves while the technician remained in our kitchen. The only thing he did was to look at our tankless, water heater and give us the nod it was on. All of this took less than 15 minutes of work that we did... not the technician. , We learned that day that we really didn't need the technician to do this minor act and should have informed of this in the first place. We called the company to dispute the $160.00 charge. We offered to pay for the 15 minutes the technician stood in our kitchen but the company wouldn't consider it. We were told that the technician checked for leaks which he did not. If he had, he would have found two water faucets with running water which we discovered after the technician left our property. (Our shower head had water coming thru it and one of our outside faucets was open with running water). We don't have a problem paying for a job well done. We do have a problem when we have been charged for work they didn't do. This could have all been avoided if there was good communication in the first place that we really didn't need the technician and good faith when we offered to pay for the 15 minutes of the technician being on our property but was flatly turned down. We will seek a more reputable firm to help us with our needs in the future.

I have been in the trades my whole life and he was a good guy, did the Job, checked his work & cleaned up after himself. That works out to $313 per hour Labor Charge. He was good but not that good, but he was just the messenger. Left me feeling kind of dirty. Do yourself a solid and buy a Ridgid Powerclear drain cleaner for $280 and watch a Video and pay yourself $300 and hour.
