After using TLC for over 5 years, I've had issues with the new apprentice. I had YuYu after Marty left and one appt they wrongfully gave me the new apprentice which I never recognized because she was also asian like YuYu. I told them I did not want her again because she really did a bad job. Again I noticed my dog has issues with too much hair over his eyes, big front legs never groomed and very hairy chest. I've explained to them I need to book an appt to get a driver when I have to go and wanted to book an appt for this Sun for about approx. 15-20 min. to touch up the issuesI was told to come around 12 (noon). I kept calling to maybe change it to Sat but they never call back. Finally I was told today it's impossible for Sat and not to come on Sun until the apprentice calls me Sun morning. The new management does not understand the issues they give me. - They could have explained that YuYu does not work on Sundays anymore but simply misrepresented using the new apprentice who is not good at all. Never finishes , never goes over her job for touch ups, etc. If I was informed that YuYu was replaced with apprentice and did not work on Sundays, I would have changed the day to Saturday. My doodle pup has been there twice and each time she looks so beautiful. I have recommended this place to others who have gone for grooming and were also impressed. There is a new doggie day care area also which I plan to use. I found the staff to be very friendly. The place has always been clean. read more

What a terrible place, never go there! I was in Saturday and I over heard the staff including the owner, he was gossiping so bad with two women staff about the groomer and money problems in his store. They did not come out to reception to address my presence. I would never trust someone to groom my Doodle or buy products from such a mean man! I walked out immediately! No wonder that place has such bad reputation of being awful to employees. I can only imagine what happens to the dogs :( read more

I have had only great experiences with TLC Grooming. Although I don't take in my two cats for grooming, I do give them Acana pet food, and order in Pet Wonder joint supplement and Oxyfresh for their water. As a result my geriatric cat (almost 16 yrs old) is in perfect health. The vet gets frustrated trying to find something wrong with her, and they never can! I had the teeth of both cats cleaned a few years back and afterwards promptly started them on Oxyfresh. They don't have any teeth or gum issues at all. Excellent groomers! We had been to Petsmart and were really disatisfied every time! And our dogs always came back ill! We have been going to TLC now for about 1 year. Our groomer is Kayla- she is FANTASTIC! They take great care of your dog and they are really friendly! read more

I have been taking my dog Harry to TLC for over three years. Jenny was his groomer specializing in hand stripping. She always did an excellent job and was very professional. Unfortunately Jenny left and i had Karen groom Harry. It was terrible. She used scissors on him which is never supposed to be done on dogs who are hand stripped. She then proceeded to lie to me over and over saying she did not use scissors. I saw hair clippings fall off of him at home and an employee at TLC confirmed for me that she did use a scissors, but pleaded with me to not say anyting for fear of losing her job. He has patches all over his body, his head is all lopsided and the end of the hair are sharp. They would do nothing for me....I paid $90 and they would do nothing except to have me go back in to fix it. Upon consulting my old groomer i was told that i would have to wait about a month to fix it and then it is not sure that it can be fixed. They ruined my dogs fur and would do nothing. So unprofessional, lacking integrity and overall rotten people. read more
