After visiting a few of the communities in the Moorestown Area they found that they really liked Brandywine because of the people that worked there treated them like family from the very first visit. Brandywine had everything they were looking for to live like they wanted. The daily schedule is full of activities, onsite services for beauty and healthcare were plentiful. The food is amazing with a great selection at every meal. My parents also like that they could still be independent by venturing out of the community almost everyday to grab a meal, go shopping, visit friends and attend church functions. Brandywine made this easy for them by providing a reserved parking spot close to the main entrance. If they were not able to drive they could arrange for the chauffer to take them to a Doctor appointment or other appointments. What really makes Brandywine great is the people that work there. They become part of the family and they treat the residents just like they are family. A few years ago my mother was diagnosed with cancer and it was determined that she would need hospice care. The hospice team and the Brandywine team worked together to make sure that my mother had everything she needed for her to live out the last few months of her life at her Brandywine home. The round the clock nursing staff was always making sure that my mother and father had everything they needed and kept my mother comfortable. When mom finally went home to be with the Lord, the Brandywine family came to the church to help celebrate her life and made sure that our family was aware that they would continue to care for my father like family. It is easy to see why I give Brandywine a 5 Star Rating. It is not only a great community but the people that they employ are the real reason for their success.

Huge room, good air, cable TV, nice adjustable overhead lighting. She has a refrigerator and shower bathroom. The nurse care is pretty good. Mom like the food they give her. She really like that she had no restrictions to what she can eat and how much they'll give her. The facility has ample rest access parking. There's valet Parking if you come during valet hours. Each floor has a community room. My 87 yr old mother didn't want to go. Said that's for the old people. Really. But we did go outside and say in the shade to enjoy some of the nice weather. So far this has been a good choice for moms Rehabilitation after her hip surgery But this may get updated as mom gets more length of time here.

Cambridge at Moorestown, formerly the Lutheran Home, is no exception. We discovered this in 2025 after a family member experienced a traumatic injury requiring convalescing care. Welcoming staff? No one even acknowledged our arrival until 12 hours later. That meant no meals! The opulent ambiance and crystal chandeliers? Only there to lure your business. The attractive dietary menus? You'll take that tiny grey hot dog for your Sunday dinner and you'll damn well like it. Daily PT? Not in this lifetime. Clean sheets? Only if you complain loudly enough. Caring experienced nurses? Better get used to non-English speaking "assistants" assigned to ten patients at a time supervised by an invisible administrative nurse. The "Family Meeting" to address grievances involving abuse or lapses in care? Pre-scripted and choreographed to shut you down. Recommend you take a professional advocate along. In our case, we evacuated to another facility in the middle of the night after a non-English speaking "nurse" arrived with double the prescribed dosage of pain medication, putting our family member's life at risk. If you find yourself in need of serious post-hospitalization PT or convalescing care, this is not your best choice. Despite being a wealthy retirement community in one of the wealthiest towns in NJ, the medical convalescing wing at Cambridge is understaffed and very low end staffed with screen addicted unresponsive zombies. Pre-Covid levels of care seem no longer available at former standalone facilities like this. If you have good private insurance, stay way clear of this place if you care at all about your loved one. I regret Yelp has no zero stars option.
