Had them install my blinds. Blinds were ok except for the sales pitch (which he said 100% no light will come through). When I told him light was coming through, he said "well, it's not 100 100". Anyway blinds were ok, sales pitch was a bit sketchy and worst of all one of the installers stole my wedding band right from my nightstand. I don't have video proof of it, but it happened. My interior designer selected TLC Interiors for a blind project which cost well over $10,000.00 A year later one of the blind motors failed. Mr. Possey said "good news" the motors have a five year warrantee. Later he said the warrantee is only one year. Vertilux actually does have a five year warrantee. After I shared my findings with Mrs. Possey she asked me to return the motor. Three months later we are still "waiting for factory response". In the meantime i have no privacy and wake up thinking about TLC every day when the sun rises. Finally my replacement motor arrived. Unable to charge it because the ends on the charger are female, and so is t he replacement motor battery inlet fitting. I brought t his to Mrs. Possey's attention. SHe suggested i pick it up ( I am 300 miles away ), and be prepared to pay $25.00. read more

They will come to your home for an initial consultation (even if you live 40+ miles away from the greater Miami area!) and show you tons of samples of what they have (plantation shutters, horizontal blinds, shades, you name it). They've literally been doing this for decades and are experts in the industry. They'll measure your windows/doors and provide you with an estimate based on the treatments you like. I was fairly clueless about window treatments, and everything they told me about quality and price and recommendations for my family/lifestyle were spot-on (because I definitely cross-checked what they told me with my own research, as I've been burned in the past by other contractors who weren't as conscientious about quality!). If you order from them, they'll return to your home when your order is ready and install everything themselves. Again, it's the same people who do the initial consultation and the installation - they really know this business and are involved in every part of the process. I think it's a great deal for the price, since literally all you have to do is review window treatment samples. They do everything else. The price point is excellent given the value of what you get in return (product, service, installation). The finish products on my windows look great - the workmanship is neat, clean, and sturdy.
