His behaviour was so unprofessional and he lost his temper on me. I visited the clinic to request my history on a particular matter. While he was preparing it, I mentioned to him that another reason for my visit was . . . and he cut me off and shouted at me "What do you mean by another important reason for your visit? Is not getting your history important enough? I can only work on one consultation per visit." I am not exaggerating, he was so furious, and loud. His tone was unprofessional and I wondered how he had ever become a doctor? How does he develop a therapeutic relationship with his clients/ patients? I confronted him for his rude behaviour and he did apologize. Also, I told him, I did not realize a second consultation was required, and if he had any issues, he could have explained himself in a polite/ professional manner. He did try to make up for his behaviour by apologizing and shaking hands before I was leaving etc. However, it was too late, and I will never go back to this clinic.

I recall a time when he begged for assistance going into bed because he felt sore and tired from sitting in his wheelchair all day. Even after asking several care aides, none of them seemed willing to help. They were dismissive, and said they will only assist with helping him out of bed once, and another time into bed. In another case during a visit, my uncle asked for assistance to use the washroom, only to be dismissed again by care staff that he completely fine wearing a diaper. While some staff appeared to go above and beyond, it appeared that many staff here were willing to only do the bare minimum at best. The environment of this care home was equally as bad as the service, outdated, dirty, and minimally cleaned. During the first days of my uncle's stay, there were fruit flies coming out of the washroom. The furniture and available resources were dated and limited at best. I am dismayed at the level of care provided here. The services provided here are nominal at best, and I would not recommend anyone placing their loved ones in this facility.

I understand that it gets busy but if you are aware that people leave work early to make it to their appointment on time then have some respect and manage your staff time accordingly. There was only 3 staff working, but shouldn't there be more staff scheduled if you are aware of these appointments. One of the staff was helping another person who didn't even schedule an appointment and was a walk in. Management should explain or review office policy and procedures to the staff. I even heard 2 of your staff arguing amongst themselves and seemed stressed out. I have been coming to this location for years but never again. Just a declining service and extremely low service.

Quickly decided to go to the washroom and when I came out there were 2 people ahead of me, so figured I better wait in line before the line got even longer. When it finally opened the office staff pulled the files of existing clients so a bit choked that that pushed me down to #5 on the list. Surprisingly though people went in and came out pretty quickly so having 4 people ahead of me I only waited 15 min. Good/bad depends how you look at it. Good that I didn't have to wait too long, but bad that potentially it was all quick because the doctor didn't spend much time on the patients. I commented how quick it was and the doctor said it was mostly prescriptions like myself. I told him my problem and he prescribed a cream and I was out in less than 5 min! The cream worked well and I cleared the infection within a few days. The doctor was friendly and professional, so all is good.

Referrals to a specialist from this place are so slow it's almost medieval like. The doctors that I've seen there have all been competent and attentive; that's not the issue. It's the medical system itself and the clinic's admin. The clinic itself leaves much to be desired. The waiting area can be best described as one you might have seen in Soviet Russia. I've always had difficulty getting through to make appointments on the phone, and when I finally get through, I have GREAT difficulty understanding what some of the receptionists are saying. When asked politely to slow down and speak louder, I've encountered attitude from some staff. Regina's attitude, accent and rapidity of speech is particularly poor; she doesn't listen and takes umbrage at being asked to repeat herself, speak slower, louder, etc. The rest of the staff at least tries. The admin is terrible; they seem disorganized and confused. I have to initiate follow up almost all the time, and they have very often dropped the ball on booking appts with specialists, etc. I've given the clinic 2 stars, rather than the zero I think it deserves, only because after I complained repeatedly about not being able to understand them, and expressed frustration to my doctor about support staff's inefficiency, they seemed to improve somewhat, although Regina's attitude still sucks. I've tried hard to connect with her as a human being to no avail. So I guess we have to complain and demand better service in order to have any improvement at all. So if you can, avoid this clinic.

I've experienced being hung up on, yelled at, and spoken over on multiple occasions. Who yells at a pregnant person? Dr. Carolyn Yeung opened this practice in 2012 and all of the doctors here are on the younger side (30s/40s) and energetic. I have seen both Dr. Yeung and Dr. Kwok for a few issues and I have found both of them to be very thorough. As well, I have seen Dr. Woo and Dr. Hsia. All the doctors have a good beside manner and take time to explain what is going on with a decent amount of detail. This is very important to me as I like to know what's going on. The administrative staff is neither friendly nor unfriendly. Expect a 20-40 minute wait, as with most doctors. Overall, I am very happy with this practice.
