I was told by whom ever answers the phone that it would $150 to surrender said animal (even though it was not mine) and that their waitlist was so long that it could take weeks or months to get the dog into the shelter which I responded with "my dogs are aggressive towards strange animals and it's not safe for me to keep it" and the person replied with "I'm sorry, we can put on the list if you want" but according to one of SVAS recent Facebook posts (August 10th 2022) they claim they no longer have a waitlist but upon reading the latest Dakotan article published (August 27th 2022) about SVAS, it seems that they still do have a waitlist but now just for animals with "medical challenges"? To me, a waitlist is a waitlist. Thank goodness for the other local rescues in the Minot, ND area. Another rescue promptly took the dog in without anything in return. I was happy to donate a collar, leash, and a very nice kennel to them for taking the dog off our hands. Secondly, after asking multiple questions through comments on Facebook for SVAS to answer about SVAS potentially bringing in multiple dogs from out of state, they not only deleted almost everything I commented, which was in no way rude or "trolling" they had the audacity to call my old place of work and tell the manager that I was "slandering" SVAS. SVAS's social media coordinator or whomever else monitors their Facebook page went out of their way to go to my profile to see where I worked, called said business, and tried to tarnish my reputation. Having a bad experience and trying to learn how one operates their 501c3 non profit is not slander. Calling someone's place of work to try to get them in trouble is slander though

Were mostly appalled by the poor service we received elsewhere from ND Realtors. Some you could never even get in touch with. Messages that were never returned with others. Rude Realtors who did not want to bother driving 20-30 minutes to show us a home or two. Some very arrogant & condescending. I mean it was incredible as this isn't our first rodeo. We've owned 7 other homes in 4 other states but never had an experience this bad. Until we came across a home Tiffanie had listed. It was immediately obvious she was a cut well above the average Western ND Realtor. She really took the time to politely & patiently listen to what we were looking for & what are goals were. She also actually answers the phone when I would call or got back to me in a timely fashion. She is very knowledgeable and questions answered promptly. A Dave Ramsey Fan too! If you are blessed to have a home within the area she serves, please give her a call. If you are looking in the area she serves, she is the best option bar-none. A Realtor that you can tell has a caring heart & nature & is looking out for our best interests to find "the right home", not just a quick paycheck. I rarely write reviews for anything or anyone, positive or negative but she really deserves it & if her partner Realtors at Preferred Partners are like her, they are all best-in-class.

He was here and done with the work by 11:30 Monday morning! very efficient and friendly. I will definitely call them again for any of my garage door needs. oh he also programmed my key pad. yes it's a simple task I've learned that I was making it difficult, but he showed me how to do it and was super nice about it.

Every pet that I saw being dropped off or picked up during my time there yesterday was so happy and looked amazing! As a first time pet owner, I am super excited to have a relationship with the crew at the bark porch and can't wait to see what Tinker Bell looks like next time I drop her off for Stephanie to give her a groom! I deducted one star because of very very poor customer service. Apparently from what I could tell,…read morethey don't have a clerk/receptionist and the groomers themselves do it all. So when a customer calls on the phone, they get bumped to a message machine because either the groomer is on the phone or away from the phone doing a client. When I arrived, the person on the phone made me stand and wait for a while, and then it was this person who trimmed my dog's nails. During that time, there was no one manning the phone or the front desk. A very poor way to run a business! But having said that, my dog's nails were well trimmed and the groomers were all very nice. The customers that came in also made comments about how pleased they were with the groomers there. So if you have patience and don't expect the best customer service, you'll most likely be very satisfied with the grooming service.
