Terrible terrible terrible. Waited over 30 min for my appointment and 3 days later I still can't pick up a prescription because the provider will not respond to the pharmacy. I've called 4 times over 2 days and the first 2 said "oh yeah we'll get it taken care of by end of day"... nothing. Then today "oh we don't have anything from the pharmacy." Told me they would call me back, I never received a call. Called again and told them to keep me on the line while talking to the pharmacy, I was on hold and then they hung up. Extremely frustrating, save yourself the time. Luckily my issue isn't life or death, but the administrative support is lacking. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Dinh for over a year. She is very personable and listens to all my medical concerns. She is a one stop shop for women which makes it so much easier than seeing a different doctor for each need. I am honestly so grateful for finding a doctor who cares. read more

First let me say I never write reviews. I am so disappointed that I will make sure to take the time to write about my experience this week. I have been seeing Dr. Kim for almost 3 years now as my primary care physician. At first it was great, slowly things have went down hill. For the past year and a half, if you have an appointment expect to wait at least an hour in the lobby before being seen, not including how long you have to wait in the patient room before being seen by the doctor. I can't even begin to explain how many different doctors have filtered through this place. I am especially disappointed because I have been calling for 3 days and leaving messages due to unpleasant side effects of a new SSRI Dr. Kim prescribed me on Monday. These can be mentally debilitating drugs and for me to get the response "Dr. Kim has your message on his desk from 2 days ago, he has not addressed it". Wow, well thank goodness I am not feeling suicidal or anything, not that Dr. Kim cares. You would think it would be a little of a priority to respond to a patient in between SSRI's, especially if Dr. Kim is the one that recommended the switch up. It is evident that patients do not matter, you are just a dollar sign. I will not be returning, actively looking for a new primary care physician that treats patients with respect and care, regardless of how many patients you see in a day. I know that this review will never see Dr. Kim and I am sure he couldn't care less about the review of one patient. I just hope someone looking for a new PCP , sees this and helps them prevent the same mistake I have made. read more

I ignored all the negative reviews because it's close by and in-network, but I'm wishing I didn't. I was seen 7/29 by Dr Vanessa White for a torn ligament in my wrist. I was told to keep it in a brace for a week and let her know if I'm still in pain so she could send me for imaging. I'm still in pain and having issues so I called 8/8 to request the imaging referral. I was told they would only put in a referral for an X-ray even though I needed an mri because my insurance wouldn't approve it. I knew this was incorrect because I already had this conversation with my insurance company. I have spent the past two days calling and begging to speak to a doctor clear this up, but they chose to argue with me, told me they weren't going to put in the referral, then hung up on me. Today, I called back with my insurance company on the phone to confirm they would authorize it. We spoke with the lady who puts in the referrals. Her speech was severely slurred as if she just had a bender at the bar the night before. She argued with my insurance company before hanging up on us both. I recorded this call. I called back and was hung up on again without even getting to speak. I'm not sure what to do now, other than start this whole process over with another Doctor. Whatever you do, don't waste your time & money with this office. read more

This place I would not recommend! In the beginning it was going as planned I got called down to a chair and they checked my blood pressure.but they made me wait 2+ hours just to be examined. As soon as I walked into the exam room the tools were rustic,old, and not up to date. They need more doctors on hand. There's only one! I saw the bad reviews and I shouldn't just ignore them. Having a place 2.0 stars. And only 3 good reviews out of 19 bad ones. Is horrible! And there's barely anyone there! Ever. So I don't really know why they would take so long to treat/examine me/you! My whole day was wasted in here! They had me transferred to 3 different rooms. Also there are very graphic pictures that are not suitable for children. ( small children). I saw mutable doctors leaving and not coming back. Checking out for the day when it was only 2 hours into there opening hours! . Couple doctors on hand. There are many nurses but few doctors. Once I got a doctor to examine me they were rough and made my ear pound with pain when it was fine before they look into it. I got a very nice nurse to check me out and put peroxide in my ear. Very friendly. Definitely deserves a raise. It was the second nurse that saw me. Super nice. The first one was very annoyed and I could sense a vibe that they didn't like there job. Wish I could give negative stars!!!! This man does not care about his patients well being. My husband had multiple issues going on and an able normal lab that with his family history and symptoms should have lead to him getting an US. I work in the medical field so I know what the basic preventive steps are. He told me that getting an US was a waste of testing and people's time. Then said there wasn't even a diagnosis code he code use to cover the US, I gave him 3 codes I knew for a fact would cover it and he told me that he wouldn't give him a script for an US and that was that. Also, he over charged us for a same day appointment. We are established patient for a few years now (normally saw his PA) and he because we had an acute issue charged us 30 for the specialist copay as if we were walk ins off the street for the urgent care. My copay for my PCP is 10 not 30. He refused again to do the right thing saying same day appointments for all patients are treated as urgent care patients and not his PCP practice even if established. So, basically he is ripping you off for being sick. Never ever has any doctor I have worked for or gone to done that. He wants your money and nothing more. He wanted my husband to come in more times before giving him an US he needs just to get more money out of us. Never mind all the symptoms were getting worse for my husband and the labs reflected that he wanted us to wait a week retest then wait another week to come back in to get results then decided if he wanted to do an US and then schedule us for I am sure another FU to get those results. If you dont give a rats ass about your health and like being over charged and spoken to like garbage this is the doctor for you!! If not I would suggest you run away from the place as fast as you can!!! read more

I called this morning to see if they had an appointment available for today to get a strep test. I was told to be there at 10 (I called at 9:45) and I could get in. I showed up at 9:50, filled out my paperwork by 10, had my vitals taken and was in a room by 10:10. I then sat there for 50 minutes. At 11, I came out of my room to ask for an idea of how much longer it would be until I would see the doctor. The nurse and the receptionist were visibly agitated and were very rude. I was told that I was next in line to be seen and I asked if they had any idea how much longer it would be until he finished up with that patient, as I had to be at work soon and needed to know if I had strep and needed to call in. I was told by the receptionist that I was a walk-in patient (I had asked for an appointment when I called) and that she did me a favor by squeezing me in so soon and that all the other patients had appointments. I told her that I specifically asked for an appointment so that I would not be waiting for long and she and the nurse became even more argumentative. I ended up walking out and went to Walgreens where I was swabbed immediately with no wait. Don't waste your time or money on this clinic. The two ladies that I dealt with were extremely rude, which I am sure is a big part of why they have such poor ratings online. I gave them a chance because they were close to my home and I was under the impression that I would be in and out quickly. There are far better clinics in the area and I will be using one of them in the future. read more

Dr Kim's office is not the place to go if you're seeking an accurate diagnosis or a professional medical environment. I am a retired Air Force medic with 21 years of hospital experience and more than four years of deployments including two years in Afghanistan as a combat medic. I attended an appointment with my girlfriend, who is a registered nurse. From the time we walked into Dr Kim's clinic until the time we left, I witnessed unprofessionalism the entirety of the visit. The technician that assessed her blood pressure (manually with a sphygmomanometer and stethoscope) talked to her while taking her BP. It is completely impossible to assess blood pressure, manually, while talking. During dr Kim's assessment he auscultated heart and lung sounds by tapping his stethoscope across my girlfriends chest and back. His stethoscope didn't maintain contact with her chest or back for more than half a second. He also "auscultated over her clothing. TLC skips the basic fundamentals of medical care. Do not believe they will correctly perform any other part of the process. I will never step foot in TLC again. I didn't even bother wasting time writing about Dr Kim's attitude issues. He seriously needs a mental evaluation and a board review. Utterly ridiculous medical practice! read more

Attempted to bring my mother here his evening. Pulled up at 6:52, saw the nurse from the car. Jumped out to see if they were still open. She walked over, locked the door as I was parking, and hid behind her desk until I walked away. Then as we were pulling away I saw her walking back or again. I understand not wanting to stay late, but in an industry that provides important services such as pain relief for elderly women, it's not cool to ditch out early. Will never return. read more

Worst Doctor's visit ever. Wait time is over one hour after being called back. Dr. is very unfriendly and not very informative when asked specific questions. Prescription wasn't called in properly. Called to see the wait time, was told absolutely NOTHING about making an appointment. I didn't know they could take them over the phone (obviously calling for wait time I would have happily appreciated the option to make an appointment) left after being told to go pick up over the counter medication, which is completely fine, but because I did not make an appointment I paid over $160 for them to tell me to go to CVS. The worst and rudest place I've ever been. Treated bad from the time we walked in to the time we got up and walked out. The lady that checked us in had an attitude like she didn't want to be there, continuously shaking her head like we were a bother and spoke very low so you had to continually ask her what she was saying. Then we were taking to the room and waited 40 minutes before the jerk of a doctor walked in to say he had the wrong chart and leaving the room only to go to another room. We waited an additional 15 minute before I got up and walk out of the room to see where he was to find him at the reception desk putting a file away. I asked the doctor if he was going to see us and he got nasty with me and told me to get back in the room that he didn't need this right now and he has seen 40 patients today and don't need this right now. We got up and walked out and told him that we would be filling a complaint. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. They're rude and make you wait. read more

I am a lupus patient and I have been having inflammation in my chest wall and my lymph nodes since Thursday (1/10/19). I can barely breathe. I saw Dr. Kim on 1/11/19 who put me on pain meds and steroids. Pain progressed over the weekend. Tried to call the on call doctor all weekend and never got a call back. I had a follow up with Dr Kim today. Dr Kim told me that he thinks my pain tolerance is low and maybe I'm exaggerating the pain. He told me I may just be having anxiety issues(which I've never been diagnosed with or experienced ) and causing this to be magnified in my head. He told me he sees many lupus patients that have chest issues and I need to take the pain. He told me at this point he just doesn't know and sent me home. Thankfully I went with my gut and went to Memorial Hospital of Tampa. I was just admitted in the hospital and according to them I should have been admitted on Thursday. I will never be going back to this doctors office. I will never refer ANYONE to Dr Kim. If you want to be taken serious as a patient I suggest going to another facility. read more

My husband and I have seen seen here a few times over the past several years as it is convenient near my home. Nurse Practitioner was very nice and we have been happy with the care received. Billing was accurate. I read the review from the person with the ear complaints. Having worked myself for an ENT for 7 years....and that person knowing they had a long and complicated war history...I can't understand why they wouldn't have called their specialist instead. Like going to a cardiologist for a tooth ache then complaining when they don't offer to do a crown haha read more

Nobody who works at this doctors office cares about your wellbeing. All they want is your money. I've been going here for about 3 years because they're one of a few offices in the area who accept my insurance. I got my yearly blood work done here (which is paid for by my insurance) and the office requested a mandatory results follow up visit. At the time of the follow up, I asked the doctor to look at my eye as there was a bump on my inner eyelid. All she did was look at it with a light (took 2 minutes out of her day), they relabeled my follow up visit as a sick visit, and charged me a copay for looking in my eye. These people are real idiot. I would never recommend this place to anybody, especially if you're looking for a walk in. read more

If I could give this clinic minus 10 stars, I would. Better to go to a veterinarian, you have a better chance of a vet at least directing you to a doctor where you could actually get help in a timely manner. I went to this clinic in April for sudden hearing loss in my right ear. First, the staff is rude and disconnected, they are only there to collect your money. Moreover, the actual medical staff is substandard, at best. I told the doctor on staff (Jin Kim), an unappealing man with greasy looking hair, that I had a history of ear viruses, having had one two years ago, which was treated at Tampa Hearing & Balance. I told him I thought it might be related, but he just blew off that suggestion. TLC charged me a co-pay, and charged my insurance merely to tell me if I didn't get my hearing back in a few days I should go to go see a specialist. The real kick in the ass came when Kim, rather than tell me I should immediately go back to the same specialist that treated me for the ear virus the first time, gave me me a card for a "plastic surgeon/ENT" named Janet Lee. I left the clinic feeling that Kim had no idea what the hell he was talking about and I should go back to Tampa Hearing & Balance in case this ear problem was related to the last ear virus. When I called Tampa Hearing & Balance, they immediately had me come in and they started me on steroid injections through my ear drum, a regiment of high doses of oral steroids and anti-viral meds in an effort to save my hearing. I had another ear virus, just as I previously did, which the awesome doctors at Tampa Hearing and Balance immediately recognized. I wish I had not wasted my time, and possibly the opportunity to save my hearing by going to TLC. Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of the doctors at THB, I never regained hearing and I am completely deaf in my right ear. Thursday I underwent surgery for the first stage of a BAHA (bone anchored) hearing implant. One would fully expect that a walk-in clinic would be familiar with a very wide array of ailments, and at least be smart enought to send you to a qualified treatment provider if they are clueless as to your problem-- ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAVE BEEN TOLD OF A HISTORY THAT MIGHT BE RELATED!!! BOTTOMLINE- IF YOU NEED MEDICAL CARE, AS OPPOSED TO JUST SOMEONE TO COLLECT A CO-PAYMENT AND MONEY FROM YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY, GO ELSEWHERE!!!!! read more
