So, I'm not a member, nor did I attend a presentation. I stayed at the Plaza on an RCI exchange. I understood the unit would be a hotel unit, where as most exchanges are condo units with kitchens, etc. Nevertheless, knowing this I still would have expected the hotel units to at least be of rather good quality. They were not! The unit was a basic hotel unit that was feeling its age. I'd requested a king bed, ended up with two queens. The shower had water pressure issues and the pipes make lots of noises as if they were about to explode. Maid service was inconsistent; they don't come some days, a request has to be made. No one tells you this at check-in. They charge a $25/day resort fee, which is a rip-off for a downtown Vegas property of this lower tier caliber. I can stay on the Strip in a comped room of a much higher quality and comfort level. The truly only decent restaurant on the property is Oscar's Steakhouse, which was awesome! Otherwise, decent choices are a short walk across the street down Fremont Street. TLC Vacation Club is not a good, quality choice for an exchange. I can't recommend anyone doing so. Vacation club talks a good game, and I have had some success booking through them. But I have never seen the savings I was promised at the beginning. I have tried to use them on many occasions I have used them in a few. I don't do weeklong vacation, so I guess I'm not in their wheelhouse of what they like to do. So as I said, I've had some success not sure if I would recommend them. If you do weeklong resorts, I think it would work better for you than it does for me. read more

TLC has not lived up to anything that was promised and the company is fraudulent agency that rips off people. TLC an agency for Resorts was supposedly to provide us with resorts below costs, in three years TLC took over $5,000 dollars of our money and failed to provide us with any type of resorts. For three years we continuously attempted to reserve a resorts, and this company (TLC) failed to provide us with any opportunities to vacation. They literally took all our money, when I questioned them why I had to pay without them providing any resorts or opportunities to vacation, they continuously stated that there was no resorts available where i requested. I told them I was not paying the rest that I supposely owed them after 5 years of payments with nothing in return, then they sent my account to a collection agency. They try scary tactics, but ultimately they do ruin your credit record. TLC outright steals money from people. All of us who put in one star reviews need to contact the Nevada's District Attorney and let the DA know what this agency is doing to those who visit Las Vegas, and get stuck with a TLC presentation. read more

A few months ago my husband and I signed up with this program. Shortly after signing our contracts, we saw a few bad reviews and thought.. "ok we'll just have to see for ourselves." Once we received all of our login information for TLC and RCI, we were both immediately overwhelmed because we did not know how to navigate through the two separate entities. I called TLC and was lucky enough to get help from Victor Washington. He was informative and patient as I tried to process through the benefits in our package. He was honest when he was unsure about a question I had and was more than willing to direct me to the proper channels. He even facilitated an appointment with a "Dynamic Tutorial Manager" to walk me through using the site and how to get the most out of my package. This is a complete waist of money. They promised us access to vacations, but after 4 years, nothing has ever been available when it came time to using it. . . . . After four years, we have not been able to access even one benefit. Also, after your initial investment, you will have to pay ongoing fees, dues, purchase points, and then pay more fees. This is ongoing (annually) and if you fail to pay, you will loose everything you've invested. For the amount of money we've invested in this, we could have already paid for multiple amazing vacations. Do yourself a favor and rather than throwing your money into this sinkhole, just use the funds to book your own vacation. read more

Went to a presentation. Moderately low key company that deals with providing vacations at all variety of resorts and timeshare properties. TLC doesn't own any of the properties, but obtained unused or returned weeks from the resorts and other owners. Most vacations are a week long, and are priced very well. They are also a full service travel agency and "guarantee" the lowest available rates on travel and lodging. Nice staff and relatively low pressure sales pitch. read more

Ok, I will preface this review and say that TLC Vacation club, yes, is a sales-oriented company. The sales environment says "low pressure" but they do apply some when selling. I'm ok with that, it's the business. TLC also comes across as a little pushy, as I received an email directing me to give a 5 star review, which I won't unless it is deserved, which it isnt. I was also directed to mention the name of a person I've never spoken with or met. Very annoying. When I attended the presentation, I had no intention of buying at all. Eventually, the price offered was too good not to pass up. There are some criteria that one should consider when deciding on whether or not to purchase. 1. How old are you? You can't think of this in terms of an immediate value. Nobody just gives away tons of vacations right up front for little to no money. My wife and I have owned our timeshare for a few years and now we are finally getting to a good level of return on the costs. 2. You must be flexible with your travel. The product they sell is a portion of RCI Vacations points, so ultimately, you will be working within the RCI system. If you are flexible in where you want to go or what type of vacation you want, you can really find some great value. My wife and I have been to Mazatlan, Palm Springs, Vegas, Sedona AZ (Breathtaking), among a few other places that we have used our points. We have had some pretty spectacular vacations and saved a bunch of money. 3. The bonus weeks offered definitely seem great, but do indeed have limited value. They do not tell you the inventory available for the bonus weeks is extremely limited. That's a drag, but I haven't needed to really use the bonus weeks anyhow. 4. I received all of the free items that I was promised for the presentation. Lastly, do your research, and figure out what an ok price to pay is. The more you pay up front, the longer it takes to start feeling a return on your money. It can definitely be a good deal overall, but it won't be frustration free. read more

We purchased sampler package thru Fiore..travel lounge an affiliate of TLC resorts, after SEVERAL attempts to book trips unsuccessfully over a 5 month period, Fiore loung in town center closed for business w/out warning. I was,advised to continue paying monthly payments thru TLC. KEN OWENS in corporate asked me to continue making payments and he would personally help us secure the 3 trips we were promised and had already paid for. The package was $1295, and "FREE PLANE TICKETS" that end up costing you over $200..fyi.. Ken and I agreed I'd hold off paying my balance if roughly $300 until his office secured my trips. He put me off for 3 months each time using being busy, going on his own personal vacations, and then holidays..bottom line. This company is a JOKE, has no sense of INTEGRITY OR VALUES. It starts at the TOP. They harass the heck out of you for that monthly payment, but don't hold up their end of bargain..STAY AWAY. I would just like to say I unbelievably disappointed I am with this company!! I purchased this timeshare several years ago and now because of COVID-19 I have tried to make my monthly payments but somehow they had an old debit card for my yearly maintenance fee and now I'm delinquent! I talked to a representative and her response was " If you don't make the payment now you will be sent to collections"! I was on the phone crying because I have been out of work since March and this person was so heartless about my situation I can't believe it! Then she tells me that my yearly fee of 625.00 will be deducted in November and if I don't make that I will be sent to collections! What kind of company doesn't have feeling during this Pandemic? What kind of company can listen to someone crying and still tell them that I'm not only late but I'm also being charged a late fee?! Disgusting Company located in a very seedy part of town. (A rented out space in an old cheap hotel in downtown Vegas) We were promised show tickets and a 2 night trip. The show tickets they gave were all garbage and all required another full price ticket to go .( stuff you would find on the floor) the flight tickets required additional fees and taxes up to 200+ a person and not valid for the next 6 months,not valid on a weekend flight, with so many other restrictions that I would never even bother. Be warned and do not buy anything from them.Eveything was low class, scamy, seedy bottom of the barrel with tricky schemes looking to entice you with hopes they can get you to sign your life away. read more
