I've pretty much explored most of the casinos in the strip in Vegas. The Wynn is one of my favorite. Located on the end of the Strip along with other casinos like Resortworld, Encore, Circus Circus, and more, don't miss out on checking out on of the nicest casinos on the Strip. Here are some highlights: walk around and take in the beauty of the design and decor of the hotel. On my most recent visit, they had some pretty elaborate Lunar New Year decorations which was awesome. The Wynn also has a lot of highly rated restaurants and bars. I haven't been to any of the restaurants, I have been to one of the bars: Overlook Lounge. They have creative craft cocktails which are a little pricey but well worth it. Another highlight is to check out their free show: Awakening. There are a number of free shows in Vegas and this is one of the best! Check it out, after all, it's free. Additional info: After this night, when I reconnected my CarPlay, a location called "Whispers" synced with the car's recent travel history. I brushed it off as weird, but it stuck and it comes up as a gps option ONLY when I'm in my vehicle. Nowhere else do I open Maps and get suggested "Whispers" as a top option. I literally just last night had a convo with someone who joked about Whispers being a low-level strip club, and now I know exactly why it's in my car's logged trips. I go to several local adult venues in town. I have never ONCE even considered learning the address of Whispers. There is no connection to anyone I know, either. I wonder where they took my car and what they did to/in it. Please get an interior camera for your car. Put an AirTag in the TRUNK, as well. Put an alert on your phone (make sure it's set to alert you when DND is on). Your phone knows where you last parked your car in Maps - it does NOT know if the car moves while you're away. Cameras and tags are not super expensive, but I'd pay $$ just to see the face of the loser who stole my car and brought it back with a device attached to it. As you can see, the default is to not believe you. Proof MIGHT give you some recourse after you've been violated. The simplest explanation is usually the correct one. Put the simple pieces together. Decide for yourself, and always assume your own risk when giving your keys to a f-boy in a polyester jacket. read more

4.2.26 - 4.3.26 Back in Vegas again and stayed at The Wynn hotel for the first time. I was greeted as soon as I stepped out of the car and was provided directions on where to go to check in and where to put my luggage on hold, if needed. I went straight to the self check-in kiosk right next to registration. I believe there were 4-5 kiosks. Easy process! Scan your QR code or put in your driver's license to start. Room # is on the receipt. Surprisingly, the room was ready right away (11:15am on a Thursday)! Had such great luck with that these past 2 trips. Met up with my cousin and we got settled in. Finding the elevators for our room was a bit confusing since it was our first time staying there. We got it down eventually. The rooms are nice and clean. I liked that the room wasn't at the end of the hallway. Upon entering the room, the wall passing by the restrooms to the beds is all full length mirrors. I loved that. Shower and tub were similar to Venetian. Sinks are separated and the sink style didn't leave much countertop space. That I did not like. Also, no vanity like at Venetian. I did notice a ton of outlets in the wall toward the center of the two sinks. Lighting in the bathroom could be a bit brighter. The room itself is a bit smaller. Beds were comfortable and clean though. I didn't like that they completely filled the fridge with stuff that you would get charged for. Wish all hotels would just leave the fridge empty so we can actually use it. I didn't try any restaurants here this time but will next time. There are some nice high end stores in the hotel too if you want to shop. Price for 1 night in a double queen room was $387.76 (resort fees included). Self-parking is complimentary for hotel guests who have a room there. This is how it should be at all hotels! read more

Walking through the Wynn Las Vegas to get to Awakening was honestly an experience in itself. The hotel is absolutely stunning inside. Everything feels luxurious from the beautiful floral displays to the lighting, decor, and the fresh clean scent throughout the property. Every area looked spotless and well maintained. The atmosphere inside feels upscale but still welcoming. There are so many beautiful restaurants, lounges, and little details everywhere you look. Even just walking through the casino and shopping areas felt elegant and relaxing compared to some other crowded Strip hotels. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful when directing guests to the theater. Parking was easy and having free parking for Nevada locals was a huge plus. The entire property has that "wow" factor and definitely adds to the overall experience when attending shows like Awakening. Would absolutely come back just to walk around, eat, or enjoy another show. read more

We were here all day yesterday and went to the gym and spa. We had dinner at Cipriani (overrated) then went to the Awakening show, which was interesting. I love the spa and fitness center! The Wynn is on a whole different level of posh. We got upgraded to the 53 floor and the view was breathtaking. The service desk was super polite and helpful. Their amenities include robes, fluffy towels, Alexa controls, and so much more. The attention to details was amazing and it really shows the difference between a 4.5 and 5 star hotel. read more

$30 for local parking. Last time I visit Wynn. That's it. No more dining, gambling, shopping, Urth cafe, etc. none. Visited today as I received a flyer about welcoming back a local, offered free play. Admittedly I didn't read the fine print, only valid M-Th. Ok. Still gambled. On way out, lost parking ticket. Was there for 30 minutes, was charged $30.00 for parking. No more Wynn visits with family or friends. If you're charging locals $30, clearly you are not welcoming locals. I'm cutting up my cards and mailing to Wynn with a note to remove me from their system. With all of their cameras and players history, they couldn't validate I was parked under one hour? Ridiculous. Thus is why locals avoid Wynn. read more

The Wynn hotel and casino is a great upscale property. Great for people watching, as well as in general having fun! Their showroom currently is featuring a great show called Awakening. Great special effects and very entertaining. They have multiple options for parking in various areas of the property. Wynn is one of the top list hotel in Vegas. I love coming over here especially watching the Awakening show. I watched it 3 times already. The food restaurant has an advantage too. The Wynn is undeniably beautiful with stunning architecture and an impressive collection of high-end designer boutiques. The ambiance is luxurious and visually striking which is what one may expect from a property of this caliber. I have yet to stay at the property so I cannot share any useful information about being a hotel guest, but overall, the presentation of the property, it's casino (although very smoky), and the choice of high-end eating establishments are fantastic. Also, I really enjoyed the Lake of Dreams show (which is completely free). read more

Wynn truly showed us what luxury service really means. I accidentally booked our reservation for Saturday instead of Friday and didn't realize until arrival. I was stressed, but the team handled it with such professionalism and kindness. They adjusted our check-in without charging me, which I truly appreciated. Shortly after we arrived, my daughter Hannah developed a fever, and we both ended up getting sick. We didn't get to do much of anything this trip -- we mostly stayed in our beautiful room while recovering. Thankfully, the room was super comfortable, peaceful, and exactly what we needed. What truly stood out was how the staff took care of us. When I called asking for children's Tylenol, they immediately connected me to the Wynn store and arranged delivery straight to our room -- even around 2am. As a mom, I can't imagine having to leave the room in the middle of the night while caring for a sick child. I will never forget that. They also brought us water supplies whenever we asked and even extra tissues for our runny noses. They genuinely made sure we were comfortable. Even though we didn't get to enjoy the full Wynn experience this visit, knowing the hotel staff took such good care of us was a huge help. Not every hotel would go that extra mile. We truly felt cared for -- and we'll absolutely be back (hopefully healthy next time!). read more

We stayed at the Wynn for two nights and had a great experience from start to finish. The hotel is absolutely stunning ! elegant design, spotless spaces, and a calm, luxurious atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, modern, and very comfortable, with beautiful views of the Strip. A tech-savvy touch: the TV, curtains, and lighting can all be controlled via the in-room Alexa or the provided iPad. My old-school self couldn't find a remote and had no idea how to turn off the TV at first definitely took a minute to figure out. Room service breakfast is quite pricey, but thankfully there's a cute on-site café that offers delicious specialty coffee and fresh pastries a perfect alternative for a quick and tasty start to the day. Check-in was smooth, and service throughout our stay was professional and courteous. Security is top-notch with room keys required to access the elevators, which made us feel much safer compared to other hotels on the Strip. The property also features high-end shopping and great dining options. We especially enjoyed the buffet, which had an incredible variety. It's on the pricier side but worth experiencing at least once. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Between the elevated experience, beautiful rooms, strong security, and thoughtful amenities, it's definitely a place we'd return to for a more refined Vegas escape. read more

The Wines Spectator's Grand Tour was an amazing experience, which, featured over 200+ wines that have been scored 90+ by the editors of Wine Spectator magazine. The doors didn't open until 6pm for VIP's but by 4:30pm, there was nearly 100 people already in line. Attendees were able to taste a myriad of wines from some of the best wine regions. Information on the various wineries and their operations was also interesting to hear. It was a wonderful event and one which, I would definitely want to attend in the future. read more

I spent a lot of time at the Wynn during my trip to Vegas; the conference I attended was located here, I tried several of their restaurants, and I ended up staying here as a guest post-conference when I decided to spend a couple more days in the city. This was my first trip to Vegas - and, besides the Palazzo, it my first experience with a hotel on the Strip. As with my other hotel reviews, I'm going to separate this into pros and cons - so here we go! The Wynn is one of several hotels in Vegas that was developed by Steve Wynn - two other noteworthy ones are the Bellagio and the now defunct Mirage. The hotel is located on the northern end of the strip, and has a sister resort called Encore which is just next door. This leads me to my first pro - the location. Even though you're not mid-strip, you are still in the thick of the action; the Palazzo and Venetian are right next door - and it was pretty easy to get to most places either by foot or rideshare. The theming is another pro - or should I say lack of theming. While most resorts on the Strip have a theme (like Disney), the Wynn does not have one - unless you count opulence. The decor is very tasteful - lots of flowers without being feminine and and overall red color scheme in the main casino area. I also liked the layout - the shops and restaurants were separated from the casino for the most part which I appreciated; a lot of the hotels on the Strip have their eateries in the casino area and to me that takes away from the restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, there are plenty of them, as well as shopping; all the high-end retailers are here and there a good variety of casual, quick-service, and fine-dining restaurants. I dined in a few of them and they were all quite good. My room was great - the style, decor, and amenities were all high-end which made it super functional. I had a standard panoramic king room that had excellent views of the Strip. I couldn't find many cons - I don't think the aesthetics are for everyone, and I would argue that the resort is missing a counter service spot. I said location was a pro for me but it may also be a con - people may want to stay closer to mid-strip in a hotel that has a theme. I don't gamble so I can't speak on how the casino is compared to other hotels. Staff was excellent - everyone I interacted with was super accommodating. Everyone from registration to the bellhop to the housekeepers exuded professionalism. Honestly it's up there with some of the best service I've received in a hotel. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the Wynn - this is definitely a crown jewel in hotels on the Strip and I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I'm in Vegas. read more

I don't really go to the strip when I do it's usually when family is in town. We went to the Wynn buffet to do a late birthday dinner. While in line waiting I was able to get tickets to see awakening which is a plus since it's in the same hotel. The layout and design is luxurious. read more

First time staying at the Wynn Hotel and my husband and I both really loved it. We went to Vegas with friends for the weekend and they prefer to stay at the Wynn tower suites so that is where we booked as well. We didn't realize this when checking in, but the tower suites have their own separate check in desk apart from the Wynn's general check in. We requested and paid for an early check in and upon getting to our room on the 5th floor realized that the 5th floor is the first floor of the tower suites and had a dismal view of basically the roof of the hotel. We went back downstairs and talked to them at the tower suites check in desk and, though we were happy to check out bags and wait for an alternate room, they quickly had us moved to the same room on a higher floor. The Location of the Wynn on the strip was also great and centrally located. Top tier shopping and restaurants inside the hotel and easy to walk to the sphere (which is why we were in town). Our room was enormous with a living room, powder bath, cavernous bathroom with separate soaking tub, Dyson hair dryer, walk in closet, the works. The house keeping service was friendly and efficient and I really enjoyed the dark chocolate that they left on my pillow in the evenings. The bed was very comfortable for the 4 hours of sleep I got a night. Lol. Really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back on our next trip to Vegas. read more

Check in process is worse than TSA during a government shutdown! Kiosks down, lines forever long, and many people can't get rooms even at 5:30pm with no comp offered, nothing but a smile and "sorry". You're sorry alright - whole place is sorry. Go ahead and wait and pay 2x for a drink at our bar and enjoy the cigarette smoke (guess that's what they give for free - they have plenty of it). Let's start with the amazing rooms--they're spacious, modern, and incredibly comfortable. I stayed on the 52nd floor, and the views were absolutely spectacular, especially in the direction facing The Spear. Everything in the room is high-tech and seamlessly controlled through an iPad--from the TV and lights to the blinds. There's even an Amazon Echo for added convenience. The bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was surprisingly large, with double sinks, a separate soaking tub and walk-in shower, and even the toilet has its own private space--a thoughtful touch that adds to the luxury. The casino floor does allow smoking, but it's kept very clean, and the cocktail waitresses are friendly and attentive. There are several dining options both on-site and within easy walking distance, and if you're into shopping, you'll love the high-end shops connected to the location. Overall, this stay was top-notch from start to finish. Highly recommend! read more

I checked in last night at the Wynn and was told they only have "smoking optional" rooms. I'm very sensitive to smoke and told the staff who said there were no options the first night but would move me next day. I woke up with a headache and couldn't function well all day. I came back at the end of the day to be told again there were no non-smoking rooms. They could have told me before I checked in about the situation so I could have stayed at another hotel but they did not. If you're sensitive to smoking do not stay at the Wynn! read more

We were able to get pretty decent rates here over the holiday weekend. We needed to be accommodated and adjoining rooms two beds for my children and a bed for me and my husband. They did everything too. They could to accommodate us. We also rented a car even though we normally wouldn't we wanted to head off strip Parking is free for guest with your room key that was a plus didn't have that extra. We did get charged resort fees, but we didn't necessarily use any of the facilities as we were not there most days. The rooms were great. The tubs were great. The water is hot. The pressure is good and it really did meet all of our needs. read more

We have stayed and visited the Wynn numerous times and really love this hotel and casino resort. Awakening and shows at the Encore Theater are great and the theaters themselves are nice (see my separate reviews for Awakening and Encore Theater). The casino is spacious and beautiful, and of course there are great restaurants options. Parking is also easy and free for first 3 hours, after that it is $25. I can't understand why strip properties continue to nickel and dime people that come and spend money at their resorts. Overall, we have have had some great experiences here. While we were gaming in the casino someone we talked to suggestEd that we try Allego next time we wanted to have dinner here so we made our future reservations. read more

Our stay at the Wynn was absolutely top-tier! From check-in to check-out, the service was impeccable. I hate that I can't remember the name of the young lady who checked us in--she was incredibly personable and made us feel instantly welcomed. The room was beautiful and full of smart technology. Saying "Alexa, open the curtains" never got old--it was impressive every time. We also loved the double sinks in the bathroom and the thoughtful layout, with the toilet in a separate area from the shower and sinks. If we had to mention a couple of small drawbacks: the in-room fridge was fully stocked with drinks for purchase, so there was no space for our own items. And while we loved the Alexa feature, we wish there were more options for controlling the lights--currently, you can only turn all the lights off at once, rather than selecting specific areas. Still, those are minor things in an otherwise exceptional experience. We would absolutely stay at the Wynn again--no question! read more

I love to stay at the Wynn. It is an incongruous mash-up of elegance and whimsy and it just works. Your stay will not be cheap but the experience makes the price well worth paying. I love the glamour and the bold use of color which is at once outrageous without being gaudy, elegant without being stuffy. Glass sculpture and high energy abounds. Expansive casino floor upon which we were lucky enough to come out winners, with a beguiling musical selection that somehow melded 80's yacht rock with new school indie (Phoenix) and old school post-punk (Joy Division!). Superb restaurants. Huge rooms. Fabulous people watching. I don't know how they do it - its alchemy. I can't wait to return. read more

We had never been to The Wynn and were attending the Transform conference. Had I known the sheer size of the property I would have been prepared for the effort required to checkin. For example, I did not realize there are two entirely different hotels under one roof: The Wynn & The Encore. So our Uber dropped us at the main Wynn entrance. After waiting in line 20 minutes, we finally found out we were in the 'sister' property, The Encore. When we finally made it up to our room, we realized they'd given us 1 queen bed. Both my hubby and I sleep in separate beds or at least need a King. With his sleep apnea and always being cold, and with my neurospicy menopausal brain and body, we need some separation or else end up sleeping miserably. In their favor, they were very quick to correct the mistake. The room was lovely with many modern convenience. Again, my only complaint was the mattress. Hard and lumpy. Covers were heavenly, though. If we go to the convention next year I will make a point to get a room in The Wynn rather than Encore as the walk to the conference room was mind-numbing and exhausting. 17k steps (8 miles) the first day and I never the property! read more

The hotels interior is beautiful and opulent everywhere you look with many photo opportunities. People stopped for pictures in several areas as did we when we left. The room was large, well maintained, clean and had fantastic water pressure in the shower. The fridge was stocked with expensive water, soft drinks, beer, wine, spirits and more as was the room with chocolates and other sweets. no gripes here. The TV was turned on briefly when we returned for the evening and then twenty minutes later would not turn off. The tablet that controls the lights, curtains, TV in the room would not work. We called the desk and asked for help. Twenty minutes later we called again and they apologized for the delay saying a shift change had taken place. Eventually a maintenance professional (with twenty five years experience at Wynn properties) came up and rebooted the tablet and got it to work. We had breakfast the next day at The Terrace Point Cafe and again had a weird hiccup. It took about nine minutes to be approached by a waiter. We asked for coffee and water. EZ PZ, right? It took another seven minutes for it to come and a different waiter poured it and took our orders. The restaurant was not overly crowded so that lengthy wait was kind of shocking. The food was good and not overly expensive. The Esplanade shopping area is filled with designer shops such as Prada, Gucci, WC, Rolex and such so if you're in a shopping mood you can overspend until you drop. I can see myself staying here again. read more

After staying at the Wynn, you really fell a sense of opulence and security. Amazing staff, super clean and hardly smell the smoke compared to other hotels. There is a plethora of restaurants and cafes, luxury retail shopping and of course, the casino. The show- Awakening is here. It's been fun to use Alexa open and close the drapes on command! English only though. Would need to access your room by scanning your card by the guard before hitting the opulent gold elevator. Parking is $25 for a long day.
