The service was just OK. The room wasn't ready at 3:00 check-in, so we waited. Also told that the king bed that was on the reservation, the one that we booked, was not available. We optioned for the only rooms left 2 queen beds. Disappointing. When we finally got a room, after going back to the front desk, another person told us that the rooms WERE ready; however, there was still no king bed. He said he would comp our self-parking. (I rolled my eyes privately) (jump ahead......did NOT work when we drove out of parking to 40.00.). Restaurants were wonderful. All the services there were very good. LOUD. Really LOUD throughout the hotel. Food was wonderful, but yelling to speak to table guests. If you want to be in a nightclub for 24 hours, this is your place. But...at some point, maybe in the restaurants......lower the music a bit. read more

Without a doubt, The Cosmopolitan is my favorite casino in Las Vegas! I absolutely love the ambience here--everything about this hotel and casino has such an amazing atmosphere. They have a great sports area with huge TVs, which is perfect for watching games and hanging out. The bar is also fantastic. If you sit at the bar and play the slot machines, you can get some amazing free drinks, which is always a huge plus! The cocktails are delicious, and the staff throughout the property are incredibly friendly and welcoming. There's also a ton of great food on the second floor. It's not just your typical fast food either--there are so many different options and places to grab a really good meal or snack. I was also recently made aware that The Cosmopolitan is now part of MGM Rewards, which is HUGE! Being able to use your rewards card here while gambling, earning points, and taking advantage of rewards makes the experience even better. Between the atmosphere, drinks, food, staff, gambling, and overall vibe, this place has everything I look for in a Las Vegas casino. Absolutely five stars and easily my favorite! read more

I spent two nights at The Cosmopolitan last month, and while the trip was amazing, the hotel was just kind of okay. The lobby and restaurants were more or less as I remembered them, upscale and Vegasy, as they were when I first saw them fifteen years ago. The rooms, though, were dated and poorly maintained. We stayed in two rooms, both with two queen beds and medium-nice mega-hotel decor. I will say, the beds were quite comfortable, and there was a good amount of space to stretch out and relax. Our first room, though, had a couple of problems. For some reason, we'd been put in a wheelchair-accessible room, and the shower was weird and small. The bigger issue was the enormous wet spot on the carpet, between the entry and the beds. It was so big that we couldn't jump over it, and so wet that it soaked through hotel slippers. I'm not the most particular, hygienic person, but that was pretty gross. Our flight got in after 9:00 at night, and we had a late dinner at Jaleo (excellent), so it was midnight by the time we got to our room and called down about the wet spot. We were ready for bed, and it took a surprisingly long time for a maintenance guy to arrive. He looked at the spot and said there was a leak of indeterminate origin, and that we'd have to move out of the room to have the problem diagnosed. We decided to wait until morning, when he assured us we'd be able to change rooms. We had a slow morning, but called the front desk well before lunch and expected to have a room ready by the time we were done eating. This did not even remotely happen. In fact, we had to wait in The Cosmo's clusterfuck of a check-in line, which we'd already enjoyed the previous night, to talk to a disaffected robot of a desk clerk who acted like he could do nothing for us, and couldn't even be bothered to offer an apology. We ended up talking to a manager, who was much more helpful. She found a room for us and also agreed to compensate us for our troubles. We'd pre-paid the room, but she was able to give us enough food and beverage credits to cover the cost of one night. This seemed like a fair outcome. Between Jaleo, a lunch at the Overlook Grille, drinks at The Chandelier, and late-night room service (pizza, chicken tenders, and fries at 3AM), we felt like we'd been made whole. Our stay was otherwise without incident, except when I went down to the casino floor for an hour while my friends napped and lost not only all $300 I brought (and borrowed) in cash, but also VenMoed a fellow blackjack player $50 in order to split 8s against a 4. $25 minimum is rough, and that dealer ran so hot I didn't win once until my ninth hand. (Naturally, she hit 21 off that 4.) To make matters worse, there wasn't even beverage service. I went to the lobby shop when I was done and paid $7 for a bottle of Diet Coke. I have good memories from The Cosmo, and it still feels like it might be one of the better hotels on the Strip. I'd think twice before booking again, though. There must be nicer rooms elsewhere, without glaring maintenance issues. read more

So disappointed! This was my first time staying at The Cosmopolitan, and my guest and I were genuinely excited because of all the good things we'd heard. Unfortunately, this celebratory trip turned into an absolute nightmare when it came to accommodations. When we checked into our City Room Double Queen (Room 2047) for a stay from August 10-12, the room had not even been cleaned. When I called down, I asked for a room change, but the front desk claimed they were fully booked and could do nothing. Left with no choice, I had to clean my own room just to tolerate being in it. The condition of the room was shocking for a hotel of this caliber: Stains everywhere: Large dark stains on the carpet, food-like stains on the sheets, and disturbing stains on the curtains that looked like blood or food. Dirty bathroom & dusty surfaces: The shower walls and glass door were covered in scum, and the countertop lamps were heavily caked in dust. Broken amenities: The refrigerator didn't get cold at all, the bathroom stayed uncomfortably warm, and the elevators lacked AC, making them stifling hot. Safety hazards: The hallway outside our room had no working lights, leaving dangerous exposed wires hanging out of the walls where fixtures should have been. Guest service offered zero real recovery. On our second night, we tried again to get a room change, but were just handed an apology and extra sheets/towels. We ended up having to go to the store to buy our own cleaning supplies and pillowcases, using the extra towels just to cover the contaminated beds and pillows so we could sleep. We seriously considered packing up and booking another hotel. The lines at the front desk were painfully long and slow, and when staff promised a manager would call me back to try to accommodate us, nobody ever called I even filed a formal complaint and still no response so thank you Cosmo for the experience. The only bright spots were the valet and the bellhop, who were both wonderful. Otherwise, we dreaded coming back to our room every single day. For luxury prices, this level of accommodations and disregard is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning unfortunately. Also when I checked out after my 2 night stay I was charged valet per day even after paying $40 each day to move my car out of valet so I was double charged, when calling to get refunded I was placed on hold for 23 minutes before someone picked up then hung up. I called back and still have yet to get a refund lol they're only getting a two star because of valet attendant, the food, and Bellhop who were amazing. read more

It's an upscale strip hotel resort. We were invited as guest for a company event. Upon arrival we parked and supposed to get reimbursed for parking but we got charged and have to dispute the charge. We got reimbursed. The check in line was extremely long. We waited over an hour to check in only to be told our room isn't ready yet and they would call us. Well we never got the call. We decided to use the pool while we waited. 6 hrs later still no phone call or text so we went back to the front desk to check and was told our room has been ready for awhile but we never got the call. So we would've waited for no reason. Good thing we're local and has a car. I can only imagine how stressful it would've been had we been visiting from out of town and have no car. I guess we would've checked our bags in bell desk if that's the case. Once we got our room it was beautiful! We had a good size bathroom, separate living room and balcony. The bathroom has a jacuzzi jet altho I was too tired from activities to use it. I just took a quick shower and hit the bed exhausted each nite lol The amenity is great! Long walk thru the casino and had to go upstairs 3 floors to get to the pool entrance but at least the pool provides complimentary cold water and towels. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and lots of slots machines, video poker machines, table games. Lots of bars to choose from. Their main attraction seems to be the chandelier bar which have millions of Swarovski crystals. Definitely a photo opp! We ate mainly at the convention room since this was a work event and the banquet staffs gave superb service. I even made friends with a few staffs. One of the staff member brought us a bowl of berries since I made a joke about my hubby always looking for berries lol sadly I forgot his name. Our company also booked our excursions as well which was attending the "O" show complete with open bars, dune buggy in the desert and party at Vanderpump nite club and pool. See why I was exhausted? Lol We had a blast tho. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We can't wait to come back and stay here again. Hopefully next time there won't be a mix up with parking and shorter line at checked in. Casino and hotel attached to Aria, Vdara and Bellagio, on the south edge of the block. Part of MGM/Marriott. They also have a "Cosmo" scent as you walk in. All the standard casino games, a bit more hopping than the Bellagio floor was, and they have food and the Chandelier bar/nightclub area along with other restaurants and spots to see. Chelsea Handler show, Marquee nightclub, and more attractions within. Wicked Spoon is their buffet (popular brunch, served not in big trays but smaller dishes brought to you). Second floor walk there from Bellagio was loooong, though. You don't realize how big these spaces are until you see it. Could use a shuttle like Aria. Security actually directed me down not quite the fastest path to the bar, but eventually made the loop correctly. Several folks stayed here since the rooms were cheaper than the Bellagio. Absolutely LOVED our stay at the Cosmo this summer. Can't say it's my absolute favorite, but it's definitely tied with my favorite, which is the Wynn. We stayed here the end of July for 4 nights. The vibe of this hotel are just so Las Vegas. You really have everything you need in the building or within walking distance. If you are doing a weekend trip to Vegas and don't have a car, this is probably the spot for you. You can walk to many places on the strip from this hotel. As for the hotel itself...the casino is great. It's very spread out in my opinion. I didn't too much gambling, but I did do a lot of eating! And this place does not lack on the food variety. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and late night dinner...they have it all. The room...Most of the rooms have a terrace balcony. Which is rare in Las Vegas. We had a fountain view of the Bellagio, but I imagine the views from the other side are just a good. The rooms are clean and very spacious. And the bed! Wow that was comfortable. We did order room service one night and not only was the service fast, but the food was amazing! And the portion size was very generous. I absolutely loved this place and we have already booked our stay again for next Summer! read more

The view from a terrace fountain view room was amazing. The downside is you can't hear the music for the Bellagio fountains. The jets in the bathtub didn't work, which was disappointing. Check in can be crazy, but they offer automated check in where you can scan a QR code and set up your room keys yourself. There was a problem with the card dispenser because the loaded cards were wrong so we couldn't grab any cards. This hotel is really popular and busy. Because of the dayclub and nightclub, you're going to encounter really wasted people. Since this is an mgm resort you can get free self parking if you have pearl status, which comes automatically when you have the no annual fee mgm credit card. Just insert your players card when you enter and exit the garage. The room was nice, but not sure if I'd stay here again. read more

I am so disappointed. I booked those hotel via the FHR perk with the Amex platinum. I also booked this hotel based on their advertisement on the pet friendliness. After this stay, never again. First, they got rid of the pet relief area on the 14th floor of the Chelsea Tower (due to smell complaints). It's just a pile of fenced in rocks now. So the only dog relief area is on the backside of the hotel and in order to access it you have to go to the parking entrance and walk across. The fake grass is really dirty and definitely not maintained. We took our dog to the vdara dog park and it was way better. You can walk to Vdara from Cosmo via an enclosed walkway. Second, when we checked in we asked for a pet bed. The said they "no longer offer those." So for being advertised at pet friendly, it was disappointing to see another amenity being removed. It was the whole reason for picking this hotel. Third, parking. Oh em gee. We tried using the parking barcode on the app. It never worked. We tried using the room key. It never worked. We went to the front desk to complain and they issued new key cards. They told us the parking barcode on the app never worked ... so uhm why do you have it? So after they issued new key cards, it still didn't work. So they told us to just push the call attendant button and they will manually raise the parking arm for us. WTH. Everytime I leave and enter any MGM property, including Cosmo, I have to speak to an attendant? If it's broken, shouldn't you try to fix the issue? We actually spend an extra $20 of parking at Mandalay Bay because nothing worked to exit the lot and we didn't know about speaking to an attendant initially. After going to the front desk for a third time with the issue, they agreed to waive the parking fee (but we still lost $20 at Mandalay Bay). Third attempted also fixed the key issue. Fourth, the room we were in has a shower with no cold water. So the water was scalding. We complained and switched rooms. The new room has a broken light bulb but the shower temperature was ok now. So I guess I'll live with a broken light bulb in the room .......... Cosmo has a good location but this is def not 4/5 star hotel and does not deserve to be an FHR hotel. It's more 3 star hotel with how dingy and run down the place is and the mess with logistics. It did not feel premium at all. Luckily the room we booked wasn't horribly expensive. We paid $450 for 2 nights and the $300 Amex hotel credit made it a bit more acceptable. However I did not expect to be complaining about issues all the time on vacation. read more

Stayed at the Cosmo for the first time and really enjoyed our stay. Room was a Fountain view (balcony) with two queen beds. It also had a comfy couch with a coffee table and an empty shelf in the no-no fridge. The bathroom had two sinks, shower, and full tub. Wonderful view! Casino games were plentiful with a great variety of slots. On top of that are the great indoor walkways to other MGM casinos - great location. The restaurant choices on floors two and three are fantastic - special shout-out to the GM and staff of Scarpetta - exceptional and a must try if you haven't been. There is a coffee stop on the slot floor just past the registration area with a tasty dirty chai latte. Will stay here again (after I try the other MGM properties left on my list). read more

This was our second stay at The Cosmopolitan, and it couldn't have been more different from our first one. After our previous stay, where we had a few service issues, the hotel invited us back with a complimentary stay. We decided to celebrate our first anniversary there, and they really did everything they could to make this visit special. We stayed in the Chelsea Tower on the 59th floor and had access to the VIP Lounge and VIP check-in. There was a welcome letter waiting for us in the room, and later they surprised us with a chocolate dessert for our anniversary. Those thoughtful touches really meant a lot. The only small suggestion I have is to make the VIP check-in process a little clearer. We tried checking in online before we arrived, but it didn't work. When we got to the hotel, we weren't sure where to go and almost ended up checking in through the regular line before someone pointed us to the VIP Lounge. A little more signage or a note in the confirmation email would make the arrival much smoother for guests What impressed me the most was that the hotel truly listened to our feedback and made a real effort to give us a much better experience than the first time. You don't see that very often, and I really appreciate businesses that care enough to make things right. We had an amazing two-day stay and left with a completely different impression of The Cosmopolitan. We'll definitely be back. read more

I always have a great time at The Cosmopolitan! Self-parking is super easy in the underground garage, and if you're Pearl or higher with your MGM card, you park for free -- that's a big win in my book lol. The giant chandeliers when you first walk in are stunning and really set the mood. I love that it's connected to Aria and Bellagio so you can bounce between them without going outside. The restaurants are all on the second floor with a really great variety of options to choose from. It definitely draws a younger crowd, which makes the energy feel fun and lively. I'm looking forward to trying the Wicked Spoon buffet on my next trip. Definitely one of my favorite spots on the Strip. Already planning to come back soon! read more

Really sad to say it... but Cosmo has gone downhill. I don't know if it's the MGM takeover or just getting a little lazy but, this most recent stay wasn't as great. First, the good... it's still cool. I mean, not cool as in temperature (in general they keep it much too warm in there), but interesting decor and art. Although it needs to be updated and freshened up a bit. The VIP lounge (for Platinum/Noir MGM members) is nice. They even have menus listing the available food and drink options. The bad... the AC is terrible. The hallways were cooler than our room but the elevators were stifling and even the gaming floor is kept too warm. We called for help with our AC and they couldn't do anything except bring us a fan and give us a small food and beverage credit. The tech in the room is awful too. Our TVs didn't work for much of the trip, which was a problem as we were hosting friends to watch election returns come in. Again, nothing they could do as it was a "system outage". And the internet was even worse. Most of the time it would barely allow downloads. It was also impossible to get anyone to help you - particularly on the phone. We were there during the week, NOT on a weekend, and still any call to the front desk or operator was met with very long hold times. There is also apparently no way to reach the VIP desk on the phone, even though of course they do have phones there. This is still our favorite hotel in Vegas, but it's much closer now. The lack of a real high limit slot room doesn't help (they are "renovating") and we also feel like the slot selection isn't being kept current - almost no new games. Still some great restaurants and those views from the balcony rooms cannot be beat. But some attention needs to be paid to get the Cosmo back in peak form. read more

This was my second time staying at Cosmopolitan. I used Marriott points my first night and MGM status for a discount on my second night. I checked in at 10 AM, in the Marriott platinum lounge. I was told my room would be ready at 3 PM. Or before I did not get my room until almost 4 PM. And when I got there, yes, it was a one bedroom suite, but it was above the club. So much bass that the walls were shaking. They said they were sold out and couldn't change my room. They offered me $180 in food a beverage credit and two drinks at the chandelier bar, and suggested I come back the next morning and try to change it. That was my birthday, but I went and tried. Still no change but Yusuf gave me another $100 voucher. The room was spacious with a great shower and huge tub in the bathroom. King bed, sofa area and a decent sized balcony. It was supposed to be a strip view, but it faced the top of the Aria shopping center. If I stayed here again, I'd only do a room above the 40th floor and front facing strip view. read more

The Cosmo is a great hotel option in Vegas. It's very conveniently located on the strip in the middle of all the action. Other pros: + The rooms are super spacious and the beds are comfortable. Our room had a huge patio with nice views! + The hotel is huge with so many shops and eateries. + They have a more calm pool if you aren't looking to do the whole daytime DJ club pool with crazy minimum spends. + Food at the pool was really solid. We tried the buffalo tenders, sliders and guac and loved it all. + It's easy to get taxis / ubers out front. Some cons: + It's Vegas so obviously it's spendy. Blackjack table mins are $50. Cocktails at the pool are $25. Ya know - standard vegas stuff. + You have to swipe your key to get up to your floor. If you are staying with friends and are on different floors this makes it incredibly difficult. They also told us they could put our rooms next to each other and weren't able to follow through with this which was a bummer. + Check-in lines are loooong Overall this was a fun stay in a great location! read more

The Suite & Amenities - Separate dining/seating areas and an extra bathroom - Stunning Vegas skyline views from the massive wraparound terrace - Two pools - one with incredible views of Paris balloon and Eiffel Tower - Excellent fitness center equipped with bottled water and massage guns - Marquee dayclub and nightclub hosting popular DJs Dining - Booked through Amex so received a $100 dining credit valid at any MGM property, plus a $30/person daily breakfast credit at select spots - Food hall includes Eggslut, Milk Bar, Momofuku and Secret Pizza - Sit-down restaurants include STK, Jaleo, Beauty & Essex and Wicked Spoon buffet My only complaint was that our key cards stopped working after we went to brunch even though we had a guaranteed 4PM late check-out. Since we were in the Boulevard Tower, it was pretty annoying to walk all the way back to the Chelsea Tower area just to get new keys. From the very beginning of the stay, the vibes were off when we discovered a used bar soap in the shower and a room service ketchup both likely left from the previous guest. It's clear that in the turnover process of the room it wasn't done sufficiently. After the first night of housekeeping, I found that they had thrown away my personal toothbrush. When I called about it, they didn't really offer any solution as they had already provided a dental kit, which isn't a replacement for my personal item. Given that it's a conference week and guests are paying the highest rates, it's clear they don't have to do anything but the bare minimum, which you can't even count on here. I've never had a positive impression of the hotel to begin with where it feels like the price was more about being seen at a trendier place on the Strip, which it hasn't been for a long time if ever, rather than true luxury. TIP: Stay anywhere else on the Strip. read more

I stayed at the terrace bedroom for a few nights and really enjoyed my stay. The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. I love how much storage space there is, as well as seating space. The room came with slippers and bathrobes, but no complimentary water. I had a very spacious balcony with a lounge couch, along with a view of the strip. The room ventilation was good especially with the balcony door open occasionally. I am super sensitive to the air when smoking indoors so this was important for me. The room is in the boulevard tower and it was easy access to all the shops and restaurant. The hotel is pretty central to all the neighbouring hotels. I was not able to receive early check in. And the check in line was such a long wait. read more

This is hands down my favorite place to stay in Vegas! Having a balcony room overlooking the Bellagio fountains was amazing. All the staff at the Cosmo were great and the atmosphere is truly top notch. The only thing I didn't like was the $150/night refundable deposit on top of the non-refundable $55/night resort fee. This is the only reason for a 4 star rather than a 5 star review. The Cosmo should consider capping the refundable deposit at $300 regardless of how long you stay. read more

Came here to visit the Chandelier Bar! The bar is absolutely beautiful ad felt very vegas showgirl-esque. We ordered their signature cocktail that makes your mouth a little numb and tingly after you eat the flower, then tastes completely different. Not the best drink ever but it was fun to try. We also played some slots here and one person in the group some tables. The smell in here is pretty nauseating, the amount of perfume scent they pump into cover the cigarettes creates a cloud of smell that will stick with you and on you. I appreciate that they were trying to cover the cig smell, but couldn't stay here too long before feeling sick from the scent. read more

My visit was as a casino and food court guest. The Cosmopolitan definitely had a unique look to it as a large number of crystals drape the middle of the room. Several reviews and images on Yelp mention the Chandelier Bar. Walking through this hotel and casino, I felt like I was on a cruise ship. The placement of the crystals, elevators and shops toward the middle of the space is similar to a cruise ship design. Elevators take you up to the food court area where you'll find a breakfast sandwich favorite, Egg Slut. One place I do NOT recommend? Illy, the coffee spot. Booked through Amex Platinum FHR program for $341 (before the $56 nightly resort fee) through the Amex portal to use our $300 credit. Came with all the benefits of the FHR program, including a daily $60 breakfast credit (that could be used at a choice of 7 different shops/restaurants) and a $100 food credit to be used at a HUGE list of MGM restaurants (it's nice because it doesn't even need to be within the Cosmo ). We checked in around 12noon but our room wasn't available until around 3:30pm. Pros: - overall, a very convenient and central location on the strip for everything we wanted to do - used our $100 credit at Best Friend at Park MGM, was a super easy process to just give them our room number at the Cosmo ( you do have to show your ID to do this and it has to be the name on the hotel reservation) - room has a great view of the strip during the day and night - you can watch the bellagio fountain show at night and it's a beautiful aerial view - comfortable clean room, with good bed, firm pillows, good shower pressure. - used our breakfast credit at District Donuts in the food court downstairs, was a nice touch to not have to pay for breakfast - the Cosmo itself is very fun with lots of lounges and restaurants within it - perfect if you don't want to walk outside in the hot summer sun. We had a great time at Ski Lodge for cocktails - overall all the staff we interacted with were super nice and professional - kind of an upscale very young people vibe inside, with the iconic chandeliers etc - I did like that they have kiosks where you can activate your room keys without standing in line again , once your room is ready (app gives you a QR code ) - easy taxi drop off location , convenient - lots of clean nice bathrooms throughout the hotel so you never have to worry about emergencies - the art everywhere is fun and risqué Cons: - whole hotel definitely smells like smoke - which is kind of to be expected on the strip. However I didn't realize how bad it was until we walked through Park MGM and my asthmatic lungs could breathe better lol - the check in process was disappointing. I understand that a room might not be ready at noon - but they said a text would come when the room was ready. We got the preliminary text telling us a text would come soon to confirm our room, but it never came. We happened to luckily check the MGM app randomly while eating elsewhere and saw the room was ready. I feel like people who weren't as on top of checking the app may have spent the whole day thinking the room wasn't ready, boo. - the checkout process was also crappy - we had late checkout at 4pm, and shortly before that we tried checking out at the kiosks in the lobby - but they didn't work for us or the party next to us also trying to check out and get their folio. Overall it seemed like the system wasn't really up to speed? Also saw other people at the kiosk struggling with checking in as well. - the elevators were VERY hot and stuffy. No AC or fans running. I found myself complaining about this repeatedly like the princess that I am - around 11am checkout time be prepared - there was a ride where it stopped on almost every floor on the way down, and every stranger in the elevator stuffed full of bodies complained about the same thing. AC and air circulation changes the whole elevator experience. - our bathroom toilet room smelled like sewage the entire stay and I'm not sure why. It's also unfortunate because the toilet room door is one that doesn't go to the ceiling or to the floor, so it can feel weird if you're sharing your room with other people. - on the morning of our last day we were running out of toilet paper (having chosen the environmental choice of skipping housekeeping the days before) and called housekeeping to bring a roll. They said it would "be right up", and it never came. - funny complaint that is not that big of a deal but since I'm out here giving feedback I might as well - the toilet room doesn't have any place to place your phone (you know How some toilet paper dispensers have a little tray on top to place your phone? This one doesn't have it ) - I know we shouldn't be taking our phones to the bathroom anyway - but in this scenario I was using it as a flashlight to not wake up my husband LOL so I did the gross thing and put my phone on the back of the toilet Overall - it did the job, and the location was prime for this particular trip and what we wanted to do. Also the Amex platinum credit was very helpful in making this stay feel worth it - I think I would've felt like the experience was subpar had I paid full price. The random weird things about the room like the smell and the elevators really bugged me for some reason. I would be open to staying here again for the right price and event. This was our 2nd time staying at the Cosmopolitan with a Fountain View in the Chelsea tower. Sitting on the large balcony couch and eating dinner or enjoying a drink while watching the fountains of Bellagio while the Eiffel Tower at Paris Paris twinkles in the night with a peak of the Las Vegas Eye in the distance is fantastic. With American Express Fine Hotels, we got an upgrade to a bathroom with a small soaking tub and window. The shower is large and roomy. The bathroom is in its own room, but the door does not stay open but fortunately there is a bathroom fan there. Double basin sink and lighted make-up mirror. The room has a dressing area with a long bench - good for a suitcase and a separate living area with a couch and long bar. A stocked fridge plus an empty one for your own drinks is available. We arrived on a Monday at 11 am and are supposed to get 12 pm check-in based on availability with Fine Hotels. You can use the priority/high rollers separate check-in room with the coffee. A hotel room was vacant and a request for a priority cleaning was put in. After checking back two times, we finally got a text at 3:30 pm that we could come and get our key. Unless you are a super high roller with MGM, don't believe the "priority" housekeeping request. I did see someone else being escorted by a person in a suit to his room, so there were rooms for some people. There were a lot of people sitting waiting for their rooms in the lobby. You can request a key to get you into the pool areas. Have your swimsuit/flip flops/sun screen/Kindle in your carry-on bag if you are going to stay at the Cosmopolitan since you will be WAITING for your room. We did the self park in the garage Waiting in the line to get a ticket took some time. Spots are small. There are green and red lights to show where there is a spot and a number of open spots by floor sign. The self-pay kiosks didn't work - spit out my credit card. The help box said it pay at the gate which did work at the machine, even though the gate was unattended. The hotel has a wide variety of restaurants from fast food in its food court area to nicer sit down restaurants, plus there are stores attached. Walkways to the Bellagio and other hotels. Two pool area with hot tubs. Chair side service was not as good as other hotels, since no one came by to ask if we wanted a drink although there was staff walking around. We went to the bar to order our drink. There was a frozen pineapple and mango mix. I got both in one drink. You can get it with or without alcohol. We were in room 2029 Chelsea Tower which is on the 20th floor. It felt low down, any lower, the air conditioning or parking garage could block our view. We could not really hear the music from the Bellagio fountains although we could hear the boom of the jets when they went off. read more

Stayed at the cosmo for 1 night. All I have to say is bed bugs! Me and the wife got all bit up I filed a security complaint. This is so nasty! I expected better from the cosmopolitan. When I called to file the report they said they were going to take the room out and test it. I hope they get it together so gross! read more

Sometimes bar food is not the way to go. Come to Henry's and have real food and fun. This hotel has parking and it's all over priced these days. The garage is a spinning mess of circular fun but not too hard to maneuver. The hotel is safe and comfortable. If you choose to stay the rooms are good and each room has an interesting art theme. One of my favorite places here in the hotel is the third level of the Chandelier bar . They have a few different themes from the "Alice and Wonderland," books and movies artwork. I had a smooth check in process and I received a food and beverage credit for $100 , but I stayed in the casino the entire night gambling and forgot about my credit. Happy New Year, fellow Yelpers! I thought I would start 2026 by posting, or rather catching up, with some reviews that I had meant to post last year (life can take you in many directions, and before you know it, the year is nearly over). And so, dear reader(s), I hope I remember how to compose a decent review.....enjoy the read (at least that's my hope). Disclaimer: My stay/visit at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas was in July 2025. I thought I would never visit Vegas in the summer again, but as I bought concert tickets, I found myself booking a plane ticket to Vegas. NOTES 1. There is an Avis rental car satellite location at this property. It's a bit of a walk as its located in the catacombs of the parking garage, but nonetheless it was convenient for our transport purposes that day (we opted to rent a car for 1 day to go off strip). 2. There are enclosed walkways that connect the Cosmo to neighboring sister properties, Vdara and Bellagio, respectively. Please note, you can also access Aria via Vdara, but the latter part of your walk will be outside. We thought this was so useful and helpful especially to avoid the Vegas heat (and other types of inclement weather). 3. Rideshare pick-up is street level, follow the postage signage. 4. I've always been interested to stay at the Cosmopolitan, and we were lucky enough to find an affordable rate last summer. We stayed at this property for 3 nights. HOTEL Amenities 1. There is the Wicked Spoon buffet, as well as various bars and restaurants, and a food hall on property. On this trip, we ate at China Poblano, and did a short bar crawl one nigh at some of the hotel speakeasy bars. 2. We visited the pool at the Chelsea Tower multiple times during our stay. The pool deck is a decent area with some day beds, lounge chairs, and bars....of course. ROOM Amenities 1. Spacious bathroom with double sinks, tub, and a huge shower. 2. Small living room area with a "L-shape" couch and tables....which we took advantage of to relax after walking in the hot summer weather. 3. Flat screen tv 4. Comfy king size bed 5. Balcony/terrace with chairs, small sofa, and tables. Our view was of the Aria with the mountains in the background., and the pool below (which was helpful to determine crowd level). 6. Small fridge, which again was helpful to store drinks and leftovers. There was a separate fridge for the mini-bar fyi. I think the hotel definitely has a convenient location on the Vegas Strip. It's not too far North or South IMHO, and with the property being flanked by the Bellagio and Aria, as well as Planet Hollywood across the street, there are numerous places to eat and visit. I absolutely loved the room! It was spacious, the bed was comfy, and I really enjoyed just being lazy in the sitting area. I also did appreciate there was a separate fridge for guest use (unlike NYNY where an in-room fridge was not complimentary), and the ample counter space in the bathroom. Lastly, we enjoyed the pool area, and thankfully didn't have any difficulty finding chairs. STAFF: The kind gentlemen that assisted us at check-in was very polite, friendly, and helpful in directing us to the Avis car rental location (he also provided a map which proved to be useful). BOTTOM LINE A comfortable stay at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The location on the Strip is ideal and within walking distance to other popular hotels/properties. We loved the room! I hope to stay here on a future Vega$ trip. read more
