We chose this hotel because it did not have a casino. We wanted something quieter and smoke free. Service was great. We were upgraded to a higher floor with a great view. We appreciated the welcome treats that awaited us in the room. The lobby was surprisingly small and underwhelming, not understated. The hotel's stock photos of the lobby make it appear to be a lot larger when it fact it's quite small, especially in Las Vegas. It was not small like an understated Four Seasons lobby, but small like a Courtyard by Marriott lobby (which I've also stayed at but didn't pay Waldorf prices so expectations were different). The spa was lovely. Smaller but quiet and had a cool smaller indoor pool with anti gravity reclining chairs underwater in the pool The gym was nice. Took a complimentary class on roller stretching - great teacher. Met some nice residents who live in the Waldorf and regularly attend the classes in the gym. The outdoor pool was fine but small. The stock photos are taken at an angle and cropped to look larger. The complimentary hotel car service was never available. Not worth trying. Overall, it was a good stay. Not what we anticipated, doesn't compare to other Waldorf properties we have stayed at, but still fine. Next time, we will stay elsewhere though.

Absolutely stunning hotel. I was upgraded to a suite so obviously I'm uber happy! My suite was a corner suite with a view of the strip. The front desk staff was awesome! He did everything he could to make my stay better. Minute had a luxury bathroom with a deep tub, complete with bath salts. My bedroom had a King bed with a dressing table area and seating. My living room had a sofa with another TV and a complete bar. A huge plus- unlike most other hotels the Waldorf offers in room coffee. Woo Hoo! I absolutely loved my stay here

Two stays in 3 months and I've found my new hotel in Vegas... Caveat: I'm usually here for business and I don't want a casino in my hotel. It makes it more crowded and louder -- fine if I'm here for vacation but not for business The Waldorf is on The Strip but tucked away so not as visible, just before the Aria loop. There's a small but functional lobby which doesn't invite drop-ins. Take the first elevator up to the third floor which is where the conference rooms are and a restaurant/coffee shops. From the third floor, there's a separate elevator bank to the guest floors. The rooms themselves are big and well appointed. An actual desk area with plenty of power and some of the fastest WiFi on the strip. One small complaint: it took a while to find the controls for the drapes -- they are on the far wall near the coffee machine. For a frequent traveler, they have most of the little things: toiletries, umbrella (yes you sometimes need it in Vegas), bedroom slippers, etc. I ran out of toothpaste and the front desk gave me one. The catering for the business meeting was above par. No rubber chicken. The pesto salmon was a standout. I interacted with a half dozen or so staff members who were all very nice.

My new favorite local spot of 2026. A lot have changed, but the vibe remains the same. Love the staff and Kaden took care of our evening. We will for sure be back, or I'll for sure be back. I was not able to take a photo of the truffle fries, but it was glorious.

What a pain to walk to from the Aria; and it's next door in the same complex. There are no signs from inside the Aria, then the exterior signs only show the long stairwell; it was difficult with luggage! There were also no signs for the elevator, and the bottom of the escalator is missing a sign to turn around. For a valet-only parking hotel, the lobby does not have enough seating for all the people waiting for their cars. The front desk staff was friendly, but mechanical, and simply "did their job." The room was nice and clean, and we had a great view, however for a high-end luxury hotel, my expectations were higher. The room had a broken shelf and the door just fell off (see photo). The coffee & tea pot was also dirty. Also, our closet door didn't close because the hinge was broken. Finally in the bathroom, the handheld in the tub didn't work either. The pool on the 8th floor was nice, and their staff was friendly and courteous, but there wasn't enough of them, so it took a while to get our drinks. They offer free sunscreen which was nice. The fitness center was cool and had unique machines and equipment. We enjoyed the courtesy fruit infused-water. We ate at the Zen restaurant (which was way overpriced). See my review on it. Overall, it's a fancy hotel that needs TLC and proper upkeep. For that price point, I recommend another hotel.

I'm in love with the Waldorf Astoria hotels and this Vegas location makes me even more excited to be a Hilton Honors member. I was here when it was The Mandarin Hotel and it looks as pretty now in fact I can't really tell the difference. The front desk staff is awesome! I loved meeting Kristale who was here during the Mandarin days. She's so delightful! Our room is so beautiful and so spacious and luxurious!! We have a great view of the Aria and the Park MGM. ***Update after staying there for three nights... It's run more like a Hilton hotel definitely not a Waldorf Astoria. I liked our room but the bathroom was weird and the hot water faucet wasn't turning on the entire time. They could've done a better job design designing the elevator system when they took over the Mandarin Oriental which was much nicer! There are two restaurants that are closed. The management doesn't seem to really care about assisting guests like the Waldorf would. I think my biggest issue was that we were not able to get late check out on Monday. They said if it was under my name (I have achieved Diamond level) they would extend to 12 noon but since it was under BF's account (he has gold status) they would only give us until 11 AM so they had the capability but they chose not to extend it graciously. I thought that was disappointing and unprofessional of the front desk to handle it that way. I'm sure any other Waldorf Astoria would have handled the situation more positively.

My favorite afternoon tea experience this far! The were very accommodating of our party of 15 people. The food was delicious and the tea choices had wonderful variety. Very colorful and the experience was full of whimsy. Everything we ate was super tasty and quite filling. Service was stellar. My family comes everytime we're in Las Vegas as it's one of our favorite traditions now!

The Nutcracker Nightcap was ah-mazing! The bartenders shared the recipe, and we all made the fun cocktails on Christmas at our house.

Afternoon Tea service! Made Christmas even more spectacular. My cousin and I are both Gluten free and the tower of food was spectacular - visually beautiful and delicious. Service was amazing! Decorated beautifully.

First time here. Used points for our stay. Upon getting to the hotel, our room wasn't ready which was expected since we got in at around 12. We checked in, and headed to the pool. We hung out at the pool for around an hour and our room wasn't ready ready at 1:20om. We got upgraded to the panorama suite on the 22nd floor due to diamond status which was nice and the room and view are awesome! Got to our room, unpacked and headed back to the pool. Overall our stay was great and we will keep the Waldorf Vegas in mind for our next Vegas vacation!

I was excited to stay here seeing it was recently very highly rated for Vegas hotels. The service was great, everyone was friendly and accommodating. I like that you can communicate via text for needs and room service rather than make a phone call- I am one of those people that prefers that. The room was nice with a separation between the bedroom and living room. The view from the corner room also was nice, but if you got too close to the floor-to-celing windows all that caught your eye was the large roof of the parking garage below. My big disappointment was the clear (not opaque, not frosted) glass between the bathroom and the bedroom. Any light on in the bathroom equally lit up the bedroom making it difficult to not wake up whoever was trying to sleep. Any privacy at the sink, in the shower, soaking in the tub or even in the toilet room was completely visible from the bedroom. There was NO privacy. I almost called for a possible room change but I knew they were booked that weekend and I had paid a little extra for that corner room. One more mention of a disappointment was the elevator situation. It was a little odd AND inconvenient that on the 4th floor (might've been the 5th or 6th) you had to exit the elevator you had gotten in in the lobby, walk past their dining patrons in one of their restaurants, the get on another lift to take you to your floor. Bottom line, it was nice but I feel it was over priced .

I can say enough amazing things about this hotel. The moment we arrived we were greeted with welcoming smiles. The concierge at the front desk was professional, friendly, and you can tell she truly loved her guests. Our room was beautiful with a view of the strip and the hotel even provided champagne and some chocolate as a surprise. Even though there is no casino, I almost preferred it! No smoke!!! Definitely coming back here when we visit again!

I was debating between 4 or 5 stars and i think ultimately the deciding factor is whether you want a more "quiet" vegas vacation or to be in the middle of the action. The Waldorf is more for Angelenos looking for a quick and relatively quiet weekend getaway. If you are coming from somewhere further away specifically for the vegas experience i'd pass on the Waldorf as there's nothing here. The hotel is located in the Crystals complex... there's no smoking no casino and the Crystals is a high end shopping mall that's basically a ghost town. Circling back to the hotel itself, the service was top notch and for those that play the credit card game it's a good option for AMEX FHR and Hilton Diamond members. You can stack the food credits for both programs and if coordinated correctly, the effective cost of your trip can be substantially reduced. The rooms are pretty nice and the pool is a nice quiet oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of vegas

    Chicken and waffles

Tasted not bad, but small portions for the outrageous price. This dish was $32. Sparkling water $14, 1 cup of green juice $19, pastry dish of 3 mediocre croissant $20, eggs and bacon $32 (less than half the size of a Denny's grand slam), steak and eyes $48, side of salsa 1 cubic inch of volume $2 each (charged twice, despite only asking for one side).

While we were here this time we indulged in some ice cream and really enjoyed the hand made ice cream. It really tasted handmade with bits of real strawberries in it. Last time we were here it was a special occasion and we went all out. We walked all though the strip just to get here to ride the gondola. Boy was that fun. No, it wasn't the same as the ones in Venice (I know because I've been in Venice and ridden one of their gondolas), but you know that going in. You're in Vegas so I didn't expect the same thing. I was looking forward to the Vegas version of this classic ride and I got it. Was it over priced? Yes. At the same time you get what you pay for. A fun ride around the camels in the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. There was supposed to be an photographer taking our picture so we can buy at the end, but his camera malfunctioned so we didn't get the shot. This was a huge disappointment as I'm all about pictures and I really wanted the opportunity to see the glamorous shot the professional photographer took and if it captured the. Moment like i had I would have bought it. Fortunately we weren't totally relaying on him. We brought our own camera and took the perfect shot with the gondolier in the background and the bridge when you come out. It was perfect. You didn't have all the busyness of Vegas in the background. I'm overly thrilled with my photo, I got exactly what I paid for a fun ride and the perfect shot to frame and remember this day. And yes, I really did frame it and it sits on my piano. As long as you know what you're paying for, it's totally worth it. And now that you've seen my shot and know that it's taken at the end of the ride when you come out from under the bridge, you can get the same shot too. Have fun and enjoy Vegas and the Venetian. Maybe even walk around the quaint streets and have some ice cream after your ride.

For the Hotel/Resort: The basic rooms here are better than the majority of other strip hotels. I personally think its top 3, even a small upgrade here gets you a very spacious room. I have stayed in the regular rooms and suites at both The Venetian and The Palazzo. The venetian rooms are more updated, but the Palazzo rooms are good too. The self parking has a lot of spaces but ingress/egress is easier at The Palazzo. However the valet parking here is faster compared to other resorts. The rideshare pickup/dropoff is good too. The casino floor is bright, clean, and good gaming variety. For the slots, I like that they have both old and new machines. I like the older "top dollar" and "run for your money" machines. I also like some of the new machines like KONG . They also have a great variety of video poker, blackjack, roulette, and craps! I have yet to play at the tables here but they have a good variety. The beverage service is good, but coverage/timing could be improved. I feel like some parts of the casino floor do not get as much service. They also have a great variety of food and restaurant options for all budgets. My personal favorite here is Estiatorio Milos. A close second would be SushiSamba. However, I have never had a bad meal here. I also recommend Sugarcane, Chica, Cote, and Smith/Wollensky. I still want to try the other options here! Overall great place to stay or check out. I always leave here feeling great!

The staff throughout the resort were amazing, and although the pool was a bit crowded, it was kept very clean. While we had a wonderful time, there were some lapses in room service that need improvement. Unfortunately, our room was not thoroughly cleaned during our stay: the table was not cleared after our room service meal, there was some trash left on the floor, and the bathtub had not been properly scrubbed. If you book with Amex, the additional bonuses make this well worth it. In town for a couple days, I booked my stay here with my wife, hoping for somewhere that would offer us options on-property we'd like checking out in case we didn't have time to get to the strip. This area of town isn't always fantastic, as we had less than amazing times at the Conrad, and across the street is the infamous Circus Circus which I won't get into lol. Soon as you walk in, I just love what they've done with the place. Elegant sculptures and architecture mixed with that really nice champagne and ocean blue theme really draw you in. The colors are relaxing, understated, ooze that luxury vibe. I didn't do any gambling but I liked the layout of the floor, they had a bar in the center too like a mini Chandelier Bar ala Cosmopolitan which was a nice touch. Given I booked through Amex Platinum they afford you a really nice amenity package that includes $70/day breakfast credits, a $100 towards drinks/food, wifi credits, and a pass apparently to the Poodle Room, a private bougie club with a dress code that unfortunately was closed only during the days I was there (super bummer!). We had a chance to eat at a few places, Vida, Chez Bon Bon, Komodo, all were really nice and good. Prices are a little high but this is typical in Vegas, the credits took the edge off so that promotion is a key factor in our visiting those locations. I would say though I'd love to see more restaurants open late, aside from Komodo. We were hoping to check out the washed potatoes but it closed too early. Also, while I didn't go, we had just got back from Mexico City last year and seeing Contramar opening a place up here is a fantastic addition. If they are anything like their MC location, you are in for a real treat with that. Absolutely killer seafood. The room which I got the upgrade for was stellar, we had a Panorama Suite, and it was by and large one of the best rooms I've had in Vegas, especially at the price I got it for. While the views are obviously not amazing given the location on the strip, I would definitely book that room again to host friends, etc. You do get to see the mountains which is nice at sunrise. They are a bit more secure at this facility, one thing I hadn't experienced in Vegas was the room key checks before the elevators. I understand the policy but I'd like to make special mention that when we came back from dinner the second night a taller dark skinned gentlemen, older, stopped us and was incredibly rude about it. We had no clue about the policy, and I mean I'm not stuck up at all, I'm a down to earth guy, but this guy acted like such a prick, I came back down to have a word with him about it. He had been swapped with two folks who were infinitely nicer who explained the reasoning for these checks in more detail and apologized on his behalf. Frankly, that's not good enough and management should really pull that guy off that station, you don't talk to people like that, and while it's not enough that I'd dog the property, less patient individuals definitely would. But I digress, this property hosts a lot of high end clientele, so they definitely take room security seriously which for some I assume is a plus. All in all I think this is a well kept property, with easy access to the strip, but enough local options to keep you busy during a short stay. With the added Amex bonuses, there is value to be found without a compromise to the luxury, I would definitely return here with pleasure.

CONS: *the Wynn, even at their extant "nosebleed" rack rates, will effin' nickel 'n dime ya' (*coins on steroids) every gol-durn chance they get: -NO refrigerator in the room unless you want to rent one for $25 a night. (Yep- let's make it hard for guests to bring their own, reasonably-priced booze. And leftovers from "market price" (i.e., "mark-it-up") menu pickin's at various and sundry Vegas kitchens? Meet Sal: Monella! *The pool situation is absurd and offensive: Not only can't you escape the aural pollution that pervades the whole property (more on that later)...but it's actually hard) to find an unoccupied (and unreserved) chaise lounge. -I got KICKED OFF one because it was "reserved"....NO SIGN...NO ONE "claiming it"... *Gotta pay EXTRA for even a G-D pool chair - Hell, $500. $1,000, $1,500 a night - AIN'T ENOUGH! *Booze prices are beyond absurd! Paid $15 or so for a "pour" of ordinary Tito's vodka. Needed an ELECTRON MICROSCOPE to see the likker! (But I only did it once, as my flasks of Toki and Pikesville and a Hamm's 12'er...took care of me.) *The bellhops move at a comatose pace, and when we arrived, we were informed that there'd be a "slight delay" of 45 minutes in bringing up our bags. After an HOUR had passed, we just took the G-D things ourselves. Yeah - now ain't THAT first-class service! *The concierge on duty was a dullard and a do-nothing doofus who couldn't do "jack" for us. Needs a job at the 'Boreyard by Mary Ott.' *NO smoking allowed at the OTB (Sportsbook area) Huh??? Effin' VEGAS and I can't even smoke a good cigar (or even a bad one) while play the races? S-H-I-I-T-E!!! **GOONS everywhere -had to use my key just to take the elevator to my floor, and had to withstand the glaring imprimatur of "security" people every time. (My favorite guy, who appears to have been either a "Blood" or a "Crip,"...received the moniker...'SMILEY!' -Although I wouldn't consider buying the wildly marked-up "luxury" goods peddled in the Wynn shops, I couldn't help but notice the scowling dorks in dark suits who stand outside the portals, arms folded. (No buddy - I ain't buyin' yer' lousy $50K watch; so shove it OK?) __________ Now, neighbor - are ya' ready for the veritable TOP-TWO reasons NOT to wander into the Wynn? 1) NONSTOP high-volume pop-schlock aural excrement THUMPING throughout the place. EVERYWHERE. Pay exorbitant room rates and then be subjected to lowest-common-denominator NOISE? WHO likes that garbage? ("effluencers?") -How about QUIET? -If that's not possible - how about actual MUSIC played at moderate levels? WHY must we endure moron-music and WHY were we not warned that it would be infesting the air? 2) EURO/MIDEAST TRASH guests swarming like maggots, pushing in front of you and invading your space without so much as an "EXCUSE ME!"... ...Mega-wealthy SCUM that shouldn't even be allowed in America - much less catered to by an ostensible "top class" hotel! Thank you for reading my words of timeless wisdom!

There's a separate check-in area for The Reserve which I really liked. It was not crowded at all. Upon checkin, they gave me a coconut macaroon which was amazing! I did like that special touch. There are separate elevators going to the Reserve Rooms. However, it is still shared with some of the upper floors from Park MGM. I know that other hotels on the strip have separate elevators exclusively for separate parts of the hotel. I really enjoyed my Atelier room. It was a little bit larger than the standard room. The distinguishing factor about this room is really the bathtub in the room. However, the bathtub itself seems to be a liability for the hotel. I have to say that someone can easily slip and fall in the bathtub. Use extreme caution when using the bathtub. I loved the European french decor. The toilet was a little far away from the bed, but I suppose that is good if you are traveling with somone so when they went to the restroom, it would be less noticable (more privacy, less noise). Since they are hardwood floors, I can hear chairs being moved around from the rooms above me during my stay. I was a little bit irked. Other than that, my stay was quite enjoyable at The Reserve.

A nice stay. I…read morestayed at The Reserve at Park MGM for two nights and had a pretty good time. I was not wowed by anything in particular, but I still enjoyed my stay. The lobby where we checked in was super dark and moody. There was a lot of seating and nice decor. It was chilly in there which felt like a nice escape from the Vegas heat. It was relatively quick for us to get checked in and receive our keys. This dark and dramatic theme is carried throughout the hotel and to the guest room areas too. We were put in Rm 30-24, which we converted into an adjoining room with Suite 30-22. Our room felt small to me. The bed takes up the majority of the room with little walking space. There is a desk, flat screen TV, sofa, and small wardrobe. The closet is pretty spacious and has some robes, slippers, and a steamer. The sofa was very stiff and honestly looked a bit dingy. There were crumbs on the seat and the pillows were incredibly old and limp. I was hesitant to sit on it! The closet felt disproportionately large for the room. I would have preferred a smaller closet to have more space in the room itself. The rooms and hallways are all so dark. There is no overhead lighting, only tiny lamps throughout the room. I am personally not a fan of this as it made the room feel even smaller and claustrophobic. I understand they are trying to make it feel ambient and moody, but the way it was presented felt more like sleeping in a cave. Inside the closet was the brightest area of the hotel! If you choose to have a conjoined room, it is impractical to keep the doors open. When the adjoining doors are open, it is impossible to use the doors facing the hallway. Everything was cramped and the doors were constantly banging against each other. The bathroom was nice with a spacious shower. The water pressure was slightly better than average, but not super strong. They provided the usual amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower gel, cotton swabs + cotton pads, makeup remover wipes, and a shower cap. I must say, the shampoo and conditioner were spectacular. My hair felt super soft and had no frizz when it dried. It smelled very nice too. The rest of the hotel was just okay. There is not much to do besides lay at the pool and gamble. It is pretty quiet and laid-back. That being said, the casino was pretty small. I did like that it was non-smoking though so it was not suffocating to walk through it. I enjoyed the pool area. Despite it being a hot summer day, there was plenty of seating and lounge chairs available. The music the DJ was playing was really good and the pool was super chilly. This is definitely not my first choice for a Vegas hotel but I could stay here again.

The most unassuming quaint hotel I've ever witnessed…read more It's easy to think that going to Vegas means you have to stay on The Strip--ease of transportation, proximity to the shows, and the ambiance of "the Las Vegas" experience. However, for those of us who come to Vegas often, staying at those hotels often means higher prices and headaches with navigating around the busy traffic. Having stayed at most of the larger hotels (The Luxor, The Bellagio, Encore at Wynn, Park MGM etc) I've had my fill of the dazzling lights and boisterous crowds. I do recommend you try these hotels at least a few times to truly soak in the bustle of Las Vegas night life. For me, I prefer to stay adjacent to, but not within, The Strip. This way, I can have some comfort in a quieter setting and can call an uber at any moment to meet friends along The Strip. This was the reason I chose Nirvana Hotel. Situated right next to The Luxor and The Mandalay Bay, it is both affordable and close to the attractions I come to Vegas for. The exterior is a bit off-putting at first. You aren't greeted with the pristine fountained welcome that you expect from Vegas--the wonderful precession of marble floors, the lush green plants, the ornate chandeliers. The main check-in station is inside the souvenir shop which resembles that of a run down gas station. Service is quick and the check-in process is painless. Their doors all use numbers so you don't have to worry about misplacing your card. Just don't get so drunk you forget! The room itself is very humble: queen bed, LG tv, two night stands, a small fridge, and a walk-in shower. Clean, organized, and arranged professionally. I will definitely stay here again. Connie was at the reception and welcomed me warmly. Parking is free. That's right. FREE. For your entire duration of stay.

This will look like to most a motel with a drive up to your room and an upstairs set of rooms. No pool . You are with in walking distance of the Four Seasons The Luxor and Mandalay Bay etc This is on Las Vegas South You can buy breakfast on site. Free coffee up in the front office with package cookies They have a mini fridge in the room. I was gone early in the morning and was back late The minus was street noise from construction and I was there on trash day so the trash truck backing up at 5:50 Am was an early morning wake up call ( I needed to be up at that time anyways) No house keeping while for my two day stay I would be happy to stay here again

Check-in here is almost completely automated, which I don't love, but they do have staff nearby to help with any issues. I stayed on the 16th floor of the Rush Tower;with a Strip and pool view. This was a King room and it was huge! Large king-sized bed, couch, desk area, mini-fridge, and a large bathroom. Very quiet with literally zero outside noise coming through the window. My favorite part of the Golden Nugget is their shark tank pool, but sadly the tank has a crack, so most of the sharks and fish have been removed, but the pool is still open. Their pool is small and only gets sun from about 10am until 3pm because of their new tower. On Fridays Tons of amazing food options are offered here. Everything from fine dining to fast food; the Chart House (seafood), Red (sushi), Cadillac (mexican), The Grille (24-hour diner food), and a Chick-fil-A that opened until 2am Mon - Fri. Definitely book a table at Vic & Anthony's, arguably one of Vegas' best steakhouses. Along with quick access to Fremont street and the local downtown scene, the Golden Nugget is a must stay if you've never been before.
