    Red tasting

The best local winery in bakersfield. We came on a Thursday afternoon and did the tasting menu which was $30 a person but was full of delicious wines and our hostess gave us generous pours. We sat in comfy chairs in the back and had a relaxing date, we bought 2 bottles of the visko which was so smooth and flavorful and covered one of our tastings. Top notch wine and tasting room atmosphere!

My husband brought me here for a birthday treat. It was nice a few people were there also. The lady was very attentive and nice. I will be back to bring my sisters when they are in town. I just wish they had some nice warm Brie Bread

Omg! Swear I'm sooo excited about having a wine tasting room here in Bakersfield! And this location?! It's perfect and in the heart of downtown Bako. The old dream center building is so modern and has an industrial look to it. Perfect for a winery. My companion and i chose the reserve tasting sampler and were very impressed with it. Tasting is $15 for regular pour and $20 for the reserve tasting. Visko blend and the Pinot were definitely my favorite! If i hadn't had dinner reservations, i would've purchased a bottle and sat down to enjoy it! Definitely had great service and i plan on coming back on the weekend to enjoy the afternoon sipping on some yummy red!

This is a real gem in downtown Bakersfield. It's a cool spot to hang out. The wine in general is very light bodied and easy to drink. That makes it nice for non-wine snobs. If you're into big Paso and Napa reds, you might find it too delicate...until the blazing Bako summer hits. Prices are quite reasonable. The staff is great. Mark is our normal server and he's great at his job and knows the wine well. We joined the club. It's a nice break from the norm in Bako. Check it out!

I'm not a huge wine drinker and this is honestly the first time I've ever gone wine tasting and this place was awesome! I came here for a Yelp Elite event, got some swag and had a great time! Thanks again to Mckenzie and Tlo Wines for setting up this event for the Yelp Elite community! I really enjoyed the vibe of the place as it's very relaxed and you can sit with several friends and enjoy a few glasses of wine and some apéritifs! They had us try four of their wines. 1 white and three reds. I particularly enjoyed the 2017 Petit Sirah as it was what I'm used to when I drink wine when I do. I prefer red wines and this was very light and crisp. Definitely my favorite of the bunch! They also brought us a a carafe of water to accompany the wine to keep us hydrated. My server was awesome and very informative and gave me the background of each one. I didn't even know this place was owned by Croatians and that Croatia made wines! So cool! Although I am total amateur at drinking wines, I really enjoyed my time here. The service was great and I felt very relaxed. I would definitely come back here and try it again! I guess I have to expand my horizons and go to Paso Robles and embark on some wine tasting! Highly recommended!

Bakersfield has seen fantastic growth in the local beer scene, but wine is notably absent. This is fair, as we're located in a table grape growing region, and Paso Robles is a mere 90 minutes away. My husband and I were intrigued when we heard of a local wine tasting room opening up. We hold memberships to several Paso wineries and wanted to see if a more local option was now available. I certainly wouldn't call us wine experts - really, wine is all about personal taste and service. We walked in with open minds and left convinced Bakersfield had a new hot spot on its hands. While the wines are produced from grapes grown elsewhere, it speaks volumes about the winemakers when they choose to open their tasting room in their hometown. The building itself adds to the list of restored architectural gems. Walking in, the first thing we noticed was the open tasting bar with ample space to shoulder up to the bar. Original tiles adorned the bar front and the ceiling, bringing a nice vintage vibe to an otherwise open, modern space. Behind the bar are several tables and booths, with a separate room that could easily accommodate a large party (8-10). We chose spots at the tasting bar and waited to go through the flight. Wine flights were reasonably priced ($15), with moderate pours and lots of friendly chatter with the staff. At the end of our flight, we grabbed a couple glasses to enjoy at a table. The staff was friendly, but not overly attentive - it's a nice balance when you're hoping to just enjoy a glass with a loved one. Tlo wines were pretty balanced, and fall in line with a lot of other wines we've tasted in Paso Robles. Since we visited, we've joined their wine club and gifted several bottles with the very generous 25% discount. Since opening, they've also added a tasty cheese pairing put together by Locale Farm to Table. Stop in before a Condors game or dinner downtown to get a taste of the far east version of Paso Robles - you won't be disappointed.

They had samples of their varieties of olive oil and balsamic. The olive oil is what they create right next door. Kelly helped us out and we got to have samples with little pieces of bread. I forgot the exact names, but I tried the olive oil "with a little spice and kick" and the olive oil that "was like butter". Both were so good- but my absolute favorite was LIKE BUTTER, she was Not wrong. It's hard to find good quality olive oil that you could just sip on for nutrients if you wanted to. But the best part was pairing the olive oil with the balsamic. They imported it straight from Italy. It was like dessert (in the best way possible). No sugar, but had the perfect amount of sweetness AND such a great price. My friend bought it and I will be stealing some of his Thank you Kelly for your hospitality and ingredients!!!
