They had samples of their varieties of olive oil and balsamic. The olive oil is what they create right next door. Kelly helped us out and we got to have samples with little pieces of bread. I forgot the exact names, but I tried the olive oil "with a little spice and kick" and the olive oil that "was like butter". Both were so good- but my absolute favorite was LIKE BUTTER, she was Not wrong. It's hard to find good quality olive oil that you could just sip on for nutrients if you wanted to. But the best part was pairing the olive oil with the balsamic. They imported it straight from Italy. It was like dessert (in the best way possible). No sugar, but had the perfect amount of sweetness AND such a great price. My friend bought it and I will be stealing some of his Thank you Kelly for your hospitality and ingredients!!!

I bought some candles, coffee, pastries, and hair accessories. We went inside the building and it was so gorgeous ! Everyone is so nice and lovely. We decided to get a tamale, mimosa, and a spicy Caesar salad! The food is amaaazing. Not bland and great for lunch. We also got to experience wine tasting and bought a bottle. Overall, this was a great experience and beautiful ranch to explore.

The tasting is $15 for 4 wines made by them. The owner Ilda Vaja is so passionate about it she calls it a very expensive hobby. And I can't imagine what it takes to plant, care for, produce and bottle the wine every year. She was the sole managing person here this particular Friday and man was it such a fun conversation we had. We learned a lot about Tehachapi and how she started it and it is just heart warming to hear the story. She's also the first one to plant and produce a very good Malbec. The tasting consisted of a rosé, Cabernet, Merlot and Malbec. She served this with cheese, crackers and local chocolates! The ranch also has AirBNB rooms so be sure to check out her website for availability. Women owned, local and full of love. You can taste that in the product. During this weekend trip, I also visited 2 other wineries but I can tell you hands down, this was an absolutely memorable stop. I highly recommend stopping by here if you're passing by. I promise you the wine is great, the views and the person behind this winery are phenomenal. We ended up taking home 5 wines. During the week make an appointment. But weekends you can just stop by.

Even the owner goes out of their way to be kind, personable, and welcoming. Their wines are amazing and delicious. Very high quality, and very reasonably priced. They regularly create new styles and batches, so definitely ask what's new when you visit. They also host fun special events that make the experience even better. One thing I really love is that you can bring in your own food. They do also offer charcuterie boards that are absolutely delicious, although they sometimes sell out because they're so popular. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and truly feels like home. Everyone here is genuinely friendly, which is rare to find these days. I always leave in a better mood than when I arrived. Highly recommend. p.s. Make sure your GPS gives you the right address. Occasionally, it will take you to the wrong location.

Our group genuinely wanted to support this local business and enjoy an evening together. We were actively purchasing wine and bottles, but throughout the evening, we felt increasingly unwelcome. We were each told by Melanie that an additional gratuity fee would be added because our group was considered "large," even though this was never communicated to us beforehand. We were also given the impression that our group needed to be finished and out by 6 PM, despite the business being scheduled to remain open until 10 PM. No time limit was communicated to us when we arrived. Additionally, some members of our group were charged regular prices rather than the advertised happy hour prices, which added to the frustration and confusion surrounding the evening. While we were never directly told to leave, the way the situation was handled by Melanie made us feel pressured to do so. We would have happily stayed and continued purchasing drinks, but once we felt that our presence was no longer wanted, we decided it was best to leave. What was especially disappointing was that the business was not particularly busy that evening, and our group was not preventing other customers from being seated or interfering with business. This made the experience difficult to understand and left us feeling singled out. I understand that businesses may have policies regarding larger groups, but those policies should be communicated clearly and upfront. Unfortunately, the way this was handled felt unprofessional and left a very negative impression on our group. We genuinely wanted to enjoy and support this local wine bar, but based on our experience, I would not recommend it. Will not be returning.
