I saw on Instagram they hold a community market at this lovely Ranch. We decided to go and wow! Loved loved loved! There were about 12 different booths to check on, plus three for food. I bought some candles, coffee, pastries, and hair accessories. We went inside the building and it was so gorgeous ! Everyone is so nice and lovely. We decided to get a tamale, mimosa, and a spicy Caesar salad! The food is amaaazing. Not bland and great for lunch. We also got to experience wine tasting and bought a bottle. My friend had been raving about brunch at Rio Bravo Ranch & marketplace, so I finally joined her; and it truly exceeded my expectations! Strolling through the charming vendor booths was such a treat; I left with candles, cookies, fresh sourdough, and salsas. There's something so special about supporting local artisans in a setting that feels both intimate and beautifully curated. We strolled over for brunch and the Breakfast Panino was outstanding: soft ciabatta layered with prosciutto, provolone, a fried egg, arugula, parmesan, and truffle oil, each bite perfectly balanced and indulgent. The unlimited mimosa offering sounded tempting, though the champagne itself fell a bit short. Great Venue and even better staff! Come out on Friday and Saturdays from 11-3pm for wine tasting and charcuterie boards made by food angels! My husband ordered one of the largest boards and it did not disappoint. I didn't even think he could finish it, but he did! The Nickell family Zinfandels are delicious, the 2018 is my favorite, with the 2021 closely behind it. Rain or Shine it's a beautiful spot near the canyon mouth and it offers many local items you can't find in grocery stores. read more

Stopped here for the first time since living in Bakersfield. I must say, they have a nice market inside and great tasting which you can do inside or on the nice little patio. I ordered a charcuterie board during the wine tasting. We also did an olive oil tasting right after. Left with two bottles of wine, a bottle of olive oil, some honey, and a jalapeño sourdough bread. I would recommend this place for everyone, and encourage the locals to come and try. The service was awesome. read more

I've been looking for Olive oil produced locally for years. Many imported oils are from olives from many countries. It's cool to be able to source such an essential item from local olives, processed at the ranch. I met Kelli, she was generous with her time. I bought both types, $20 each, cheaper than Vons. They close at 3pm and are only open Thursday to Saturday. Call for hours to make sure. They have wine, olive oil, basalmic vinegar, and charcuterie boards. They have wine and olive oil tastings daily. The setting is beautiful and I wish a cafe could make it here (but they can't make it here long term). Highly recommend a visit to Rio Bravo Ranch Market! They are located next to River's End Rafting, and I came here after they recommended it. The inside is gorgeous and spacious. They sell a variety of items including award-winning olive oil in a variety of flavors, almonds, honey and wine. They also sell merch like hats and t-shirts. I was able to get a sample of everything I wanted and ended up buying a can of molasses honey, two olive oils and one bottle of their 2018 wine. The person who helped us was very sweet and very generous with the samples we requested. Highly recommend! read more

I'll start off by stating that I've never physically been to Rio Bravo Ranch but have purchased their olive oils several times online. I have also tried a great many of their oil selections at Luigi's. All of their olive oils are estate grown - right here in Kern County! You can't get more local than that. Some of my favorite's are the infused oils like the Blood Orange Infused, Jalapeno Infused, and Garlic Infused Olive Oils. This was a cute little deli. They have a wine tasting and olive oil tasting I got the garlic it was really good. They have ice cream sandwiches....chips....hot dogs and beer and non alcoholic beverages. Cheryl and Patrick were awesome Patrick did the olive oil tasting and Cheryl dud the wine. Small selection they had five wines. I chose three the moscato was good, the Chardonnay was a no and the Zinfandel was a little better. The bathrooms were nice and clean and I got a kick out of the faucet. The building itself has no sign on the outside so you may think it's closed if it wasn't for the deli sign. Because it was my birthday I got a complimentary snack plate of salami cheese olives and crackers along with a discount on my olive oil purchase winning!! This is a lovely place for a stop. Unfortunately, they only have two wines available, period. Also, the female waitstaff was friendly and great, however, our server was a surly male who seemed to be annoyed by our presence.
