He has a fun, lighthearted vibe that went well with our crowd of 30 somethings for our wedding that are used to partying/clubbing/raving. If you're in the wedding industry, then you MUST know Jack. EVERYONE knows Jack. He is one of the nicest and funniest guy you'll ever work with. He and his team are very accommodating and will bend over backwards for their clients. I've seen them at so many of the weddings I've worked on previously. Jack and his team does not mess around, okay, they have fun but they handle their business. They truly transform a dull ballroom into a 5 star showstopper right before your eyes. During covid, as we all know, the event industry had to take a huge hit because all the weddings and live events came to a screeching halt. And being a small business with full time employees, that hurt. They started offering their team and their trucks for personal services such as moving/hauling, etc. When I saw that, I thought oh, how cool! We all have to stay afloat somehow. Sadly, in early January, I lost both my grandparents to covid within days apart. Just two weeks before the covid vaccine was ready for the elderly. I reached out to Jack because I needed help transporting the funeral arrangements from the floral district to the mortuary. The funeral happened to take place the same week as Valentine's Day -- the busiest week for florists. I had to make 17 large standing spray arrangements, and 2 casket sprays as their funerals were on the same day. Jack met me at the flower mart at 6am to load up so that we could have enough time to load and then unload at the mortuary. We wouldn't have been able to make it possible without his help. I didn't want to have to worry about renting a Uhaul and then having to deal with pick up, return and refill the gas, etc while our family was grieving. Thank you, Jack. We contacted Jack last minute. Literally days before our wedding because our initial lighting vendor cancelled on us. Due to Covid and with the impact of the pandemic on us, we had to postpone our wedding and vendors were canceling left and right on us. I had a particular way that I wanted my fairy lighting set up, a vision that I wanted executed and of course, Jack worked with us and made my vision come true! Once we contacted Jack, he went straight to work from answering all questions and sending pictures with our vision. He worked with all our request and assured us that he'd be there on our big day! Not only did we contact him days before our wedding but there was another curve ball...Jack and his team only had 3 hours to set up all the fairy lightings. Jack made it work for us and brought on additional workers from his team to help set up within the 3 hour time frame. That was so nice of him :) And we thought we were all set and would have it easy.... another hoop to jump through :( The weather was suppose to be perfect- sunny day, no rain. But, of course not! The wind kicked in high gear and everything was blowing everywhere! Did I mention that our wedding was outside. Imagine stringing lights in high wind.... But let me tell you guys, Jack and his team were quick to think on their feet! They were able to finish setting up all the lights. But with the high winds, the manager at the venue was making the call to have Jack and his team cut the lighting down ASAP. The manager mentioned that it was too dangerous and not safe. Especially with having our family and friends sit under the lights. I was so sad!!! All that hard work and hurdles we had to jump through. But of course, Jack to the rescue! He was not about to cut the lights down. He left his work trucks behind and tied down the structure to his trucks! He assured everyone that the lights would not fall! About an hour later the wind completely died down. I am so glad that Jack stood his grounds and assured his clients that they would not only be 100% satisfied, but happy. I didn't even consider lighting for my wedding, until my Emcee brought it to my attention. But boy am I glad I made the extra investment on it, specifically with TMMPRO. They provided lighting, draping, and chiavari chairs. My friend was DJ so I didn't need that but they offer the service. I love companies that are one-stop shop! Just makes my job as the bride so much easier. And they have a cash discount! No delivery/set-up fee. AMAZING. We had 20 tables and used uplights, pinlights, and spotlights. I cant tell you what exactly these do but they definitely added to the overall atmosphere and photos. I went with white lights which are customized white lights that Jack built himself to give a super bright visual effect.. Drapery enhances the lighting and covers up any blemish in photos. They also just made the ballroom more elegant. The chairs, lighting and draping really enhanced the atmosphere. Not cheap, but worth the money! All of my communication was with Jack. I didn't meet him in person on my wedding day, but I met Aaron. He was courteous and sweet. I believe they came at 9am to set up and stayed till the very end....my reception didn't end until 12:15am. Of all the vendors, Jack set the record for fastest response time. I'd get a response minutes after sending the note. As a bride, you want answers immediately to make decisions quickly, so I really appreciated that. I am reviewing Tmmpro, specifically DJ Jack and the team he worked with, as a wedding guest. My brother hired this company to DJ his wedding reception last month at the Marriott in Woodland Hills. He played up beat and up to date music and made some funny jokes and had a lot of energy when introducing the bridal and groomsmen party and especially my brother and my new sister in law as the new Mr. & Mrs. I kind of wished he encouraged the wedding guests to get up on the dance floor and play a few games to break the ice (our wedding DJ did that and it really helped to get people on the dance floor to move and groove). Towards the end of the evening, my brother had a King Taco food truck show up for all the late night eaters that were still hanging around (most of the older people had already left by this time). When I knew the food truck was here, I ran out quickly with my cousins and my husband (I figured there would be a line) to line up. I thought it was funny that DJ Jack, who was several people behind me, walked up forward in front of the line and asked out loud "is there is a special VIP line for the DJ?" lol, I laughed at him and told him no, not for him (if anything, the new bride and groom should be served first). Jack was our "everything guy". We met with him over a year before our wedding and did not hesitate to hire him for our wedding. Jack was our DJ/MC and also did our draping, lighting, white stage, and white dance floor. He was enthusiastic and quick to answer my questions and emails. We were able to have a sneak peak of the ballroom the night before our wedding (as they were able to set up earlier). The backdrop that Jack did for us was amazing and beyond anything we could've imagined! And he did it without us asking either!! Fast forward to wedding day. We were both so happy with the way our ballroom looked. Everyone was telling us how amazing the room looked and wouldn't stop taking pictures of it. Jack was also very engaging with our guests and played the best music. Our dance floor was packed with guests dancing DURING dinner (after the 3rd course of a Chinese banquet meal) and everyone was telling me they couldn't help it cause the music was so good (haha). We didn't give Jack a playlist before the wedding but he knew just what to play. Everyone was so tired towards the end but wouldn't stop dancing because he kept playing fun, upbeat music. We booked Jack for DJ and lighting services for our wedding this last July and we couldn't have been happier with his services! Jack was very professional and accommodating. He got the reception started with great energy that never died down throughout the entire night. He even had people dancing before dinner was served! One concern I had before the wedding was playing music that could be enjoyed by both young and older people. Jack handled this with no problem, as everyone at the reception had the opportunity to dance throughout the night. He mixed the music beautifully and had the floor packed the entire time. My wife and I got married a month ago in Pasadena, CA, we worked with about 8-9 different vendors for the various services we needed and I have to say Jack and TMMPro were one of the vendors we were most pleased with. Through the entire wedding planning process, Jack was very helpful and very responsive with all the questions we had and anything we needed from his company. Every time we had a question for him, I usually got an answer within 12 hours (in most cases less than 2-3 hours). He was also very flexible with the different services that we inquired of and contracted for. We originally contacted Jack just for chiavari chair rentals, his prices were very good and we knew he had several other services to provide. After meeting with him in person for the first time, we also saw his portfolio of lighting services (which looked amazing) so we contracted with him for lighting services as well. We then discovered he also provided DJ and MC services. He brought a very positive and up beat personality to the table, so we figured it would be great to have him MC our wedding and added those to list as well. We were NOT disappointed with any of the services he provided. The chairs are not really something to judge on, but the lighting looked great. Jack was also great as an MC and in additional was able to provide trilingual support for those Chinese speakers we had at our wedding (both my wife and I are Chinese Americans). Lastly, we absolutely LOVED the music. Everything was on key and the mixes Jack put together were exactly what we wanted and requested. There were also times were we didn't know what to have playing in the background, so we just left it up to him and he found something very appropriate that really captured the moment. If you need several different services and you don't want to sacrifice quality in any of them, this is your one stone to knock out the countless birds of wedding planning. What can I say that others have not said before me? There is a reason why Jack and his theme have a 5 star rating on yelp. On the search for a wedding venue, the venue we picked was perfect price wise for us but the ballroom really needed some sprucing up. I had gone onto Yelp shortly after to look up ballroom lighting as recommended by my onsite coordinator and found myself on Jack's site. The work on his website looked amazing and I thought to myself that there was no way that I could afford for my wedding to look this good. Boy was I wrong (and glad I was), Jack's prices were fair and he transformed our soso ballroom into a GORGEOUS wedding venue. Everyone who attended mentioned how great the lights looked with the white dance floor we rented from Jack as well. We feel very blessed to have found Jack, he is prompt with emails and pricing and very professional. He made the whole process absolutely seamless and easy and I feel so thankful to have found him and his company on yelp. He also allowed us to rent DJ equipment for both ceremony and reception area and worked with my DJ to make sure he had all the stuff that my DJ needed. Absolutely amazing!
