After he discovered it needed a new drive, (three days after I gave it to him), he then kept it and my backup drive for almost two weeks. I ended up purchasing a new laptop online instead of repairing the older one. He did save most of the data on the old drive for me, and I appreciated that. He also charged me almost nothing for his services, but I still wasn't happy with the whole process. Communicating with him is a logistical nightmare. Everything goes through his convoluted communication system that is far more complicated than it needs to be, especially for a single, simple, old customer like me. Let me call you, or text you, and get a real person answer quickly. Don't make me go through a website, or use some online service for a simple question. Also, he does not have a store front or location you can visit, which is not a problem, but arranging to meet with him somewhere always seemed to be on his terms, and that's not convenient for the customer (not this customer anyway).

All this was done in a very timely manner (less than an hour with another repair ahead of mine) and the total charge was only the price of the battery.
