This store is supposed to be discounted but I find the prices in some cases are higher then the supermarket. My real issue is the an older women that works the cashier is extremely rude but, most of all a pure outright racist that she can't even hide it... I was actually shocked but relieved to read other customers reviews that have experienced her racist vibes as well because I realized it was not just me. Will not shop there anymore because I cringe when I have to go to the register to check out. read more

This store used to be good for buy, I been there three times this year, & the clothing and merchandise Has not changed since. The staff were not helpful either with my assistance needs. Where do ya go to shop for simple household items at a discount price, when you observe that their prices are increasing as well. Answer: nowhere. But at least I'm still saving thirty cents a roll on paper towels. Not as much in the way of summer patio items which the Queens location does carry. Although not my preference to purchase clothes from, that seperate section is certainly the largest. read more

We use to shop always to this store and the prices were reasonable. Lately I noticed that they were repacking almost most of their goodies especially the candies. With this how can we see if these goodies are expired. That's not good. Also their prices are much higher for some items than when you shop in other groceries. The owner should be aware of this issue. read more

I entered the shop and purchased a case of water, a case of energy drinks and a toaster oven. The cashier insisted he needed a price check for the energy drinks even though I told him the sign said ten dollars. The manager came up and told him to charge me $18.50. He didn't believe me about what his own sign said, and I had to take him to it and show it to him in order to get charged the marked price. When I arrived home, I found I had been charged double for the toaster oven. I brought it back to the store and the owner pulled the $25 dollar tag off the item in front of me and marked it at $50 and told me it was the correct price. I told him he was breaking the law and he claimed there's no law against what he's doing and that the only thing that matters is the price on his phone and kept telling me to check my phone. He refused to budge and tried to kick me out of the store. I was only able to get a refund (not the item for the correct price, but a return for the full amount) by refusing to leave. Dishonest and rude business practice. read more

A little bit of everything mostly larger items that were from Costco, BJs or Price Club. Discounted appliances but check boxes bc they are sometimes the returned items. I bought a large box of Tampons really cheap & Starbucks KCups. Basement is a bit of a mess. Wish the store would put a little TLC into it. Can look very ghetto especially in back where they are putting boxes or bags of stuff to seal. read more

They refused to return an item that was purchased there and only had an exchange that was lower in value than the item purchased there was lots of rudeness and a bad attitude. It would be nice to support local business but not if they are going to be rude and nasty to customers. read more

I used to go alot when store was on jericho turnpike. I went around christmas to buy gifts. So i was walking around and this old fat guy with white hair is following me and hiding behind some clothes. After 15 minutes I turned around and said why are you following me. He said his name is Larry, and he likes to help people. I said its not nice to follow people around. He than says he remembers me from last year when I tried to steal a office chair. I told him that was not me and he said " Bullshit, I never forget a thief'. I told him I am never coming there again and he said, "Good I don't like you people anyway". What does that mean? I come here often and always a great experience, but today (9/29/17) was a totally different story. I was here the night prior with my moms buying lotsa stuff, as she always does. We were the last customers of the night and they were waiting for us so they can close up. When moms went to pay, she forgot her debit card. I had forgotten my wallet, so I was no help. So the supervisor/manager/owner guy tells me if I come back in the morning, he'll have the cart with all items already bagged ready with the receipt taped to it. All I had to do was come back in the morning, pay and go. So, in the morning I'm there first thing. I see the cart with the receipt and note taped to the bags. The older woman/cashier first says the receipt doesn't have a total on it and that she would have to ring everything all over again. I politely state that it would be easier to add up what the receipt shows, but noooooooooo......she starts unbagging and ringing away. I clearly remember the total from the register the night before was $86.14. Now, the total comes to $94.16. I explained to her the price difference and the something was obviously off. Her answer to me was......and I quote: "Listen I don't have time for this. You saw me ring everything, right? Either pay was it says or leave everything". So I left everything. Didn't yell or throw a fit just left (my mama taught me right). I guess customer service means nothing to this woman. She truly needs an attitude adjustment. read more

I have only been in the Franklin Square location and have bought quite a few items. You must be careful to check expiration dates and check to see if a package has been opened before. I once purchased dishwashing machine tablets and when I went home I realized the container was only half full. I returned to the store a few days later with my receipt and the cashier filled my container to the brim with another opened container. They have always been very acomodating. Their packages are marked with prices, but when they put up a sign that an item is on sale, I take my pen and update their price sticker or the item itself, so that when the cashier rings it up, she knows the sale price....prices constantly change so by me updating the individual items as I shop, I don't have to worry that the cashiers know of every sale going on that week in the store. It is a liquidation store so you must take your time while shopping there to check the items, dates and prices, and if you do, you can get some great deals! read more
