I had to get a bridesmaid dress hemmed and taken up. The dress was also too low cut for me so Agnes (I think that's her name) used the leftover fabric to add to the top - which came out fine. The dress and alterations came out fine and as expected - however, be prepared for a little wishy-washy responses on if they're opened or not. I called ahead to see if they were open and she said yes, maybe. Call me tomorrow. I called the next day and she said she won't be open the whole day...umm...ok. So I rushed over there. Anyway, when you're there, you'll see it's a no frills place. But she knows what she's doing. I'd go again as my dress turned out fine. FYI, I was charged $135 for all the work. read more

These women are THE BEST seamtresses by far! you could go to somewhere fancy and pay tons more but you won't get the level of perfection these women put into their work. They are miracle workers as far as I'm concerned fixing some of the things I've brought in that I thought for sure were beyond hope. They also work very quickly and their prices are very reasonable. I first came to this place when I was preparing for my sweet 16. From the outside the place doesn't look like much, but inside is really where the magic happens. I had a ball gown dress that needed to be shortened and fitted. There were a lot of little details that the dress had and I was worried the ladies in here wouldn't be able to do it. But WOW. They absolutely blew my expectations away. They got the dress to fit me absolutely perfectly, and you couldn't even tell that it had been altered. 3 years later I now am back to get a bridesmaids dress fitted and although it wasn't as serious as a job, even for that they made the dress fit me perfectly. Not only do I go here, but my entire family does and friends do as well, all because I recommended them and they had such positive experiences. Seriously, if you need any sort of alterations this is the place to go. A good thing to note though is they only take cash, while that can be a hassle to some, that is not enough to make me change the amount of stars I'm giving them. You tell these ladies anything in any amount of time, and they will do it. You are really taken care of. read more
