Thank goodness they had two people running the cash registers and it didn't take long for me to work my way to the front of the cash out line. The parking lot was crowded full with vehicles all trying to buy gas or work there way to a parking spot so they can make their way into the store for their Thanksgiving needs. Normally, I would have given Cumbys a 3 rating today, but do to the fact that they offered it's customers a free cup of coffee and the fantastic demeanor of the sales associates I am up in my rating to 4. I've never been inside the building: I have no idea what the staff is like or if the store itself is clean. I just come here for gas. Before it's big renovation I would have NEVER come here because of its location. But it seems like since this Cumby has been updated, there's *much more* space to navigate in and out of the parking lot safely and easily (although I'd never turn left into it from Ocean Ave; I always make sure I'm turning right from Washington in). I seem to always be able to immediately pull up to a pump without having to wait in line. In and out? Yes!

When gas everywhere else has been $2.15, this station has stayed at $2.09. It's a small station that isn't the massive food counter of say a Cumberland Farms or a Sheetz, but it has cheap gas. Everyone was friendly and engaging. I had a very pleasant conversation with a gentleman who worked there regarding my car. Only problem was, my breakfast sandwich didn't have on it what I had ordered, as far as condiments went, and the biscuit fell apart. Also, bacon was not very good so I removed it. I don't think I've ever had to wait to pump gas! This is my go to stop between the beaches and home. The store is clean and friendly. And as a bonus, they sell the best trees at Christmas!
