This place is a little hard to get to, and it is different from most other car washes. I like it though. The young men working at the front end of the car wash work really hard to do a good job. The car wash machine itself is the type in which you put your car in neutral and rollers at the ground level pull the car through the car wash. Upon inspecting the car afterwards, there were a few little spots that it missed, but overall it did really, really well! My wife has a new Lexus, and this is one of the few places she feels comfortable, taking her car to get it washed. read more

Just finished going through and the back of my car is still very dirty. The workers spent about 30 seconds washing my car before sending me through the automated washer. Simply inadequate given the salt/dirt on the car from the Maine winter. read more

I like car washes I use them and rate them I used to use many years ago but the one on Spring Street in Westbrook has been not cleaning the back so I tried T&J on Main Street Pull in Young Gentleman is the only one I seen lately been 4 times, $10 car wash best deal around and he actually uses a mop brush and water to do the tough parts unlike Scrub a Dub the run you through so fast the back always is missed! Next time brought Pattys Telluride, he suggested I didn't need the extreme wash and down sold me to $16 one , So clean !! I like a car wash that uses fresh water for every car and not the same stuff over and over. This is especially important when you wash the underside, especially here in Maine. Also important is how they handle problems. These guys are the very best when it comes to that. Nice people too. read more

I have been here off and on for years along with other members of my family and friends. It is on a busy road but easy enough to get in and out of. Nice friendly staff, along with the owner there on-site makes for good service. They offer deals and specials which are marked on the sign as you pull up. The prices are fair. They do a great job and always take time to clean up the car the way you want. If you do happen to lose a car magnet stop back in anytime and have a look to see if they found it. They also sell vehicles, the stock quality and number of vehicles varies from time to time. I've had mixed experiences with it. However, a friend of mine got his first car there and loved it. If you in the area, stop in see what is on the lot for a car, the owner is happy to answer questions as best he can. They have vacuum stations outside for easy use. He also gave me a discount on a book of 5 washes with a free upgrade to include the undercarriage wash through the end of Portland's winter. Tipped Tom $2, as I appreciate personal service from a professional business owner who isn't afraid of getting his hands wet. BUYER BEWARE. I recently purchased a Cadillac from Tom & Jerry's Auto and it was given a clean bill of health from Victoria upon purchasing. 3 weeks in and I have had numerous issues. Just paid a 350 dollar repair tab yesterday. I've attempted to try and work with her to no avail to remedy this. Hopefully and new potential buyers will steer clear of here. Terrible attitude. Car not even washed. Said they couldn't clean the top...will never be back. Complete waste of money. I asked the old man there if I was supposed to give $8 for a half washed car. He said he didn't care whether I did or didn't and walked away. If I owned a car wash I would figure out a way to wash the tops of the cars. Worst car wash I've ever seen. read more

Wow! I live in Westbrook, so go here to get my cars washed. I recently inquired about having my 4 Runner detailed, and asked if what they use could clean the leather seats well. They showed me what it could do and I made an appt. When we picked it up last Tuesday night, I couldn't get a good look in the dark, but when I saw it Wednesday morning, I honestly thought it looked brand new. I've never had a car detailed before, but my Avalon is going there soon. For $150, it's a small price to pay for a car that looks so great. read more
