The work was sloppy, the customer service was rude and unprofessional. The cuts were not even identifiable. They said they would call for cutting instructions. A week later they called and told me the meat was ready and HAD to be picked up the next day. My next question was "how did you cut it with no cutting instructions?" She said she did not know and that it must be the standard cuts. She got nasty with me that I expected to have a say in how my animals were processed. They did it their own way. When questioned the owner verbally attacked me. Ground beef was packaged in non uniform amounts, from 2.0-2.5. the packages with labels, had the labels inside and blood soaked. Most of the meat was not frozen, had air in the package, or iced up. Because of the breed of cow we raise and my experience, I am not even sure that all the meat I got back is mine. Very unsanitary. You would be better off shooting the animal on your farm and letting your kids butcher it. Most of my meat will have to be sold in wholesale form which is a HUGE profit loss for my business.
