I just had my wedding at Maple Leaf 9/9/17 and if you are looking for a venue in the Gorge you MUST MUST MUST book it here!! For starters Jami is beyond amazing, she is a fun, upbeat girl who knew how to take care of everything. She is super responsive to my messages and really flexible with times for letting me visit. (BTW her dogs are the cutest!) She was open to all my ideas and had great suggestions of her own. The property itself is gorgeous, warm and inviting. When I first walked in, I felt like you didn't have to add a thing and it would be a beautiful wedding. The property is beautifully landscaped with lots of adorable Pintrest-worthy touches (Welcome to the Wedding signs, ect). The view from the windows is jaw-dropping. I had a lot of family from around the country come for the wedding and everyone was really impressed with the natural beauty of the Gorge, and Maple Leaf really proudly showcased that. The venue is a fantastic mix of indoor/outdoor space: the indoor area is professionally designed to be flexible for all your needs; wall outlets everywhere, flexible space, great kitchen, and really nice bathrooms! Right out the doors is their patio area with romantic festival lights strung up. Our guests really enjoyed spending time on the patio when evening set in. The grassy lawn in the back is also fantastic, we used that space for a bunch of lawn games (that Jamie provided!) for our guests. Also included are two suites for the bridal party to get ready in, and that was A LIFESAVER. Plenty of room for all of us to prep the morning of, with a great kitchen for all our 'did you eat? eat something!!' snacks. I cannot recommend Maple Leaf Events enough! read more

Wedding Couples Beware! My daughter had a June wedding planned at this venue. She paid in FULL before the final due date, and then Covid 19 hit and turned the world upside down. The decision was made to cancel the wedding since their guest list was over 100 and state restrictions prohibited any gatherings over 25 people. All of the other wedding vendors gave FULL refunds without hesitation and voided their contracts due to the pandemic.Even the photo booth that stated on their website that NO refunds were available, gladly refunded her money. After several emails back and forth, Jami decided to give a partial refund. She tried to give some other dates that didn't work for them. My daughter was very upset and thought she would just keep the $1000 save the date money, but she kept more than that amount. She explained that she is a small business, and that she has overhead. Anyone that has looked at this venue realizes it is a DIY wedding venue, and she has NO staff. She choose to keep a large amount of money for circling a date on a calendar. Shame on her for causing mental and financial stress during this crisis. If you plan on having your wedding at this venue, just realize that even a national pandemic doesn't void her contract. You will be donating(not by choice) your hard earned money to her small business for NO services rendered. For a wedding venue owner, she isn't very compassionate. It's taken me a few days to write this review cause I keep remember amazing things that came about with having my wedding here and working with Jami. You not only will have one amazing wedding day, but you'll gain a new bestie. We were recommended to this venue by my Maid of Honor's mom. We went and checked it out,it was a little far from where we originally planned, but after meeting with Jami and touring the venue, we felt it was just the one. We booked about 13 months in advance. Throughout the year if I had any questions at all, I could email or call her and she would answer me back ASAP. She was such a pleasure to work with. We were able to do most of our set up on Friday and had most of the day there on Saturday. Jami was around when we needed her, even though I wanted her to be a quest as well!!! Thank you Jami and Maple Leaf Events for making my wedding one of the most precious and special days of my life. We are seriously so elated at how well it turned out and the venue itself. Your grand room had perfect lighting and ample room (love the fireplace). The kitchen was wonderful for preparing our meal and keeping everything organized. I can't say enough great things about Maple Leaf Events. This was a great venue for our mid-sized summer wedding. The owners are amazing and helpful. We have great memories from our special day at Maple Leaf Events. Here are some of the big points that made our wedding a breeze. 1. The venue allowed us to do all of our own food, flowers, and decorations. We also had ample time to set up and tear down at no additional cost. 2. The owner is also a bartender, and will provide his services for a reasonable fee if you provide the drinks. 3. There is an AMAZING space for the bridal suite and groom's room. My husband loved the big TV and poker table. I loved the huge bathroom and nice couches and mirrors. 4. There are spacious indoor bathrooms in the reception area for guests. We were married on the hottest day of the year - port-o-johns would have been awful. 5. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you would need to create a nice, simple, buffet style reception. 6. Chairs, tables, bar, and buffet tables are included. 7. The view is INCREDIBLE. 8. The indoor reception area flows really well with the outdoor space, which was great for the many kiddos we had running around. I can't stress how amazing the owners were. They were always available to answer questions and delivered 100% of everything they promised us, and more! They were a joy to work with and were great at minimizing stressful situations. *My only complaint, which really has nothing to do with the venue, is this: the DJ they recommended to us was kind of a diva. While he was very willing to communicate with us, he would melt down in stressful situations. Even with a detailed schedule of our ceremony and reception, he still ran into issues. If you go with this guy, make sure everything is very clear, and mention that he doesn't need to tell personal stories on the mic during the reception. read more

Although we did not end up booking this venue for our wedding, I can't say enough great things about Jami and Maple Leaf Events. I knew I was cutting it close for booking an August venue, but luckily when I emailed Jami to see if she had any openings in that month, she had one left! I set up a tour for the following weekend but feared my only date being booked before we could come take a look around. Jami was SO nice to reassure me she wouldn't let anyone else book it before I could come see everything, which took SO MUCH pressure off! When we arrived for our tour we were blown away by the natural beauty of the property. The hardscape and landscaping are INCREDIBLE! The suites to get ready in are PERFECT! The view of the Columbia river and Bridge of the Gods was breathtaking! We loved every single thing about this venue - even the price! We left being 95% sure this was our place... until a family member offered their property in Portland. This was the ONLY reason we didn't end up booking at Maple Leaf Event. I have zero doubt our wedding would have been incredible here and Jami is an absolute rock star. Definitely take the drive out to see this incredible venue! read more

My husband and I got married here and it was absolutely wonderful! You can schedule a walk through to make sure the facility meets your needs and Jami will be happy to show you everything. There's a beautiful area for the bride and her girls to get ready, another equally amazing area for the groom and his guys to get ready, a huge indoor area that can be used for the wedding and/or reception, a food prep area with big fridges and an island for whomever is getting food ready for the reception, and an absolutely beautiful outdoor area for the wedding and/or reception. The view is gorgeous and your pictures will be amazing! Don't think you have to get married to use this facility though... It's great for a baby shower, family reunion, birthday party, etc. read more
