Would not want to deal with their billing department on a regular basis. The first two times they sent the incorrect billing, I called them and explained their mistake. Each time they waited several months, and instead of sending me a correct bill, they sent a collection agency warning letter. Then I called them again and explained again. Each the very polite offshore customer service representative said all would be well. Finally the third time the billing was close enough to correct that I was willing to pay it.

My three little boys have a variety of allergies and are all subject to asthma/wheezing, so we've gotten to know Dr. Cummings over several years now... and I'm thankful that she is here to help us sort through the associated complex and stressful issues. She's got the experience and research knowledge to know what she's doing -- and during my interactions she's demonstrated both a friendly bedside manner and a balance between confidence and caution that I find reassuring. Of course with allergies as with lots of other ailments, doctors are still learning -- so even the experts can often not tell you the "right answer" for how to manage a particular allergy. And it's no fun bringing your little guys in to be poked and prodded each year for an allergy test, especially when (as on our last visit) my three year old's uncomfortable skin test got botched and had to be repeated. But as with most things, no pain, no gain. And since we are trying to do our very best to keep our little guys safe and comfortable over the long haul, we're going to keep coming to Dr. Cummings for the best advice we can get.

I've been told I'm allergic/sensitive to chemicals, and there's no known way to treat that. Dr Cummings was highly recommended to me, and I went to her as a last ditch effort. She took a look at all my previous testing, listened to me talking about my symptoms, and pinpointed my main (though not only) problem immediately - untreated silent reflux - and gave me a recommendation for her colleague, Dr Chan. She was right on the money. Dr Chan tested me, put me on meds, and I've never been better. Unlike other allergists I've gone to, Dr Cummings knows what can mimic allergy problems, and who to send you to. And I'm really grateful for that expertise, and her wonderful bedside manner.

Dr. Chen is absolutely amazing. He's incredibly knowledgeable, very patient, cares about our well-being as a whole. He's asking us about how she sleeps, gives us advice on how to make sure she develops means to soothe herself independently. She's had a couple of problems and Dr. Chen has been the only one to provide us with a complete, logical explanation that would ease any anxiety we have. I also love that he doesn't stick for all written rules when they might not apply, for example I had trouble breastfeeding and he supported me when I finally could not continue pumping anymore at 4.5 months, though originally encouraged me pretty strongly to aim for 6 months. Also we introduced our baby to solids at around 4.5 months as she was showing signs she was ready. He always checks his emails, even when he was away abroad he emailed and made sure someone responds to our messages. Dr. Chen's staff has been incredibly helpful and responsive every time. His nurse Bernadette is sooo kind and helpful every time we call. They usually call us back within half an hour. His NP has also been super nice and responsive. They're always on time and so very nice. Dr. Chen usually has students. I actually find that they enhance the visit. They are very thorough and always a pleasure to meet. The other staff at Stanford Family Practice are all very nice and good as well, but there's no one there like Dr. Chen! When he's not available, I truly miss him.

It should be obvious that I trust her with my eye health. Dr. Wang is skilled, knowledgeable, and efficient. Joel, the optician, has also been there for a long time. He is helpful and gives honest opinions about the frames that I choose. Dr. Wang, if she has time, sometimes weighs in as well. My glasses usually arrive in the office much sooner than originally promised. Only once did my lenses have to be remade, when the progressive part of the lens (yes, I'm that old) was a little too high and there was a slight visual distortion as I looked through them. If I had one minor complaint, it's that there is a comparatively smaller selection of frames in the Menlo Park office (admittedly, I've never been to her Mountain View location). However, I'm always able to find something that I like and looks pretty good on my face.

Kind of awkward since all my encounters prior to this were female doctors or Female receptionist. I wish I could've asked for a woman to come in beforehand, but whatever! I needed to get the allergy test done and I felt awkward anyways, but I think they should ask ahead of time if you would feel comfortable with a male person touching your back without your bra on. She took a look in my ear and confirmed it was ear wax and nothing worst causing my discomfort. After a few rounds with the Earigator my ear was cleared and I walked out a happy camper at 5:15. When a business cares, takes customer feedback and concerns seriously, it shows. They were apologetic in professional way, offered me to see Dr Khosla at not extra charges. They also added a free red light therapy (which was complete surprise) On the day of my appointment, the front staff (again like my previous experience) was super nice, friendly, professional. No wait time, I saw Dr Khosla immediately. And now I can truly see what other reviewers meant, Dr Khosla is very empathetic, warm, professional. Her care and expertise shows in the way she treats the patients. I felt all my concerns were heard, not rushed. I went ahead and started with the recommended treatment. Follow up from the appointment, I also received a call to make sure my experience was better. It's been a couple of weeks and I have started with new treatments which have been wonderful. The new office that opened this week is excellent too. I appreciate all the care, professionalism in which the feedback was handled. I waited only 15 minutes before I was taken to a patient room, which was at my exact appointment time. The medical assistant went over all me meds and took vitals before Dr. Lee came in. I really had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lee. He has the best bedside manners. He was thorough and took his time with me. I never felt rushed or that he was in a hurry to see the next patient. And he is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He went over my medical history and changed the dose of one of my medications. He answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. I really felt that he was a great Dr. and the perfect fit for me. I definitely felt comfortable with him. I will be seeing him from now on, since my former nephrologist at Stanford had moved to Southern California. I also like that I can see him via video visits from home, unless he needs to see me in person. I can reach out to him anytime through the MyHealth messaging, which he strongly encouraged me to do, if I need anything. Parking lot is right by the front door but kind of small and is full most of the time . But you can park your car at the new underground parking at 500 Pasteur Drive and then walk 5 minutes to this building . Facility is clean and organized .
