Let me just say that Father Steve made our day absolutely perfect! To start, I wanted a ceremony with "Catholic" traditions included, but obviously could not be an "official" catholic ceremony. Steve and his team did an amazing job of handling our marriage from beginning of the marriage process to the end. We were having our wedding ceremony abroad and preferred to legally marry prior to our trip. Rather than appear at the courthouse, Steve came to our home and we got to enjoy his amazing words in the privacy and comfort of our space. Reverend Steve is the absolute best. From the minute I reached out to him via email, he was quick to reply and set a face-to-face meeting. The meeting was short, sweet and thorough. It was very easy to get a hold of him when needed. The day of the rehearsal he was there over an hour early, very helpful throughout the rehearsal and even brought a speaker so we can get an idea of how the music would sound the day of the wedding while we walked down the aisle. We had Reverend Elizabeth Zamora and she was an absolute joy to work with. She arrived right on time and then waited patiently while we pulled all the last minute details together. My wife and I had a small wedding ceremony in Joshua Tree National Park on Dec 24th 2018. Mr. Mistriel was great during the service and we were happy. However, it was after the service when our problems arose. Several weeks later we received our marriage certificate application in the mail which was rejected by the county. The reason the certificate was rejected was because Mr. Mistriel failed to give his title on the form.We immediately contacted Today We Become One and asked why we had been rejected. They knew the error had been made but never provided details on how it would be resolved or when. Jennifer on several occasions did not even know which couple we were. We expressed our frustration and were met with excuses like "we have so many weddings to keep us with" and "she does the best she can". She was extremely rude and unsympathetic to our situation, especially when we informed her that our deadline for insurance had passed. 4 months later we had no marriage certificate, and in the year of 2019 I am without insurance because of their error. The worst part was Mr. Mistriel NEVER ONCE contacted us and still has not. We have called his cell and his receptionist, Jennifer. This is the worst experience that I have had with customer service especially someone who is a man of God. He seemed like a great person during the planning and the vows were great as well as the day of the service. However, the part that matters legally was never fulfilled or handled. We have not gotten an apology, phone call or even an email. DO NOT use this company. Go with a company more professional. If you choose to use Today We Become One do your own paperwork and only use him for the service. Save yourself the trouble because our experience with them was the worst. read more

Steve is so AMAZING!!! He helped me get married to my husband who is incarcerated. Words cannot describe how much my husband and I appreciate him for helping us get married.
