I had a car accident yesterday which buckled my rear driver side door to the point that it wouldn't close. I also bent my garage door so that it would no longer close without the door falling off the track. I called Melissa Pleer and within 20 minutes, no kidding!, 20 minutes, she was at my house and assessed the damage. I was quite upset as I had a ton of errands to run, no back up car, and it was late on a Saturday. Melissa arranged to have a skilled person come to my house to pound out the car door until I could close and lock it and he also bent the track on my garage door so that it would close and open safely. We can now handle the rest on Monday as far as getting the car fixed. I see those commercials where the insurance agent just appears and takes care of everything and I always thought, well that's a cute gimmick, but here she was, at my house, within minutes of what could have been a catastrophe. You see, I was hosting a huge party today and without a car, that would have pretty much been impossible. Melissa knew that and took care of everything. I usually am very hands on and keep close tabs on everything I buy, but Todd Main and his staff have earned my trust over the many years, because they're the experts and I'm never concerned that they're trying to push something on me because there's a commission in for them. I even get a call or email reminding me that a policy is about to expire. I never hesitate to ask them for help in a claim. I'm never concerned that one person in the office is THE contact. I sometimes call not recalling if it's Melissa, Angela, Marie, Tiffany or Todd (did I leave anyone out? I've even met Todd's dad) who I need to speak to. But they all keep great notes, and on the rare occasion that something isn't right, they take care of it immediately. I make it a policy to meet with Todd personally at least once a year to talk, and I feel like he knows enough about me to know what to recommend. I've walked in and told him I see a bad year financially and need to know what I can trim, and he takes the time to review everything in detail. It all comes down to trust. read more

The rating of five stars really applies to Todd Main's agency. I can assure you that not all insurance agents are the same in what services they provide and how well they take care of the customer. Todd and his staff go beyond what one would expect and deliver the highest quality products and service. Upon my contacting Angela, an agent in his office, she did a complete review of my home since it was recently remodeled. This review revealed that I was underinsured for the quality of my remodel. But also in the review she found discounts that I'd not taken advantage of with my previous agent. What a relief is was to now know I have the correct coverage. Todd also took a look at my retirement portfolio, free of charge, and made two wonderful suggestions which might help me down the road. Todd's impressive credentials give him an authority few can match. I can't thank Todd and his staff enough for what they did for me. The office is clean and comfortable. Is it silly to review an insurance agency? I don't think so - they've always been really helpful here. When I was younger I got into a bit of a fender bender at my school; I backed out of a spot at the same time as someone else. My dad had been insured here for a long time, so naturally I was too. They were very understanding of the situation and worked with the other guy's insurance so that the costs were split 50-50, even though the other dude said it was my fault and I backed into him. I really liked the fact that they have an office that I can actually go into to talk to someone as well since no one likes waiting on the phone all day. Now it can be a bit hard to find as it is sort of tucked away, and parking is a mess sometimes, but those two things are definitely out of their control. I recently went there to ask about getting some new insurance - I had just finished grad school and needed an auto and renter's policy to cover my first car and apartment. I wound up talking to Marie, who was amazingly helpful. After telling her that this was the first time that I was buying my own insurance, she laid out my options and told me the ins and outs of each of them. I've had Statefarm for years. I used to use a different office and had non-stop problems with the different policies and the billing. I had to take the time to write a review here because Angela Hiatt took the time to review our (then) current policies for home and auto and compared them to what we actually needed. I had no idea how under-insured we were. We are now fully covered and the difference in premiums is negligible. Angela didn't assume we knew or understood everything about our coverage. Johnny Ruiz has been my insurance agent for close to five years. I work for a company that requires car insurance updates every 6 months. Great Customer Service I was shopping around for a new insurance agency to cover my car, so I called this office to see what they had to offer. The first person I spoke to was Tiffany, their secretary, and she was an amazingly friendly, warm person. I told her I needed an auto quote, and she transferred me over to Angela, who then helped me out. The whole process was very quick, and I was more than happy with the price they quoted me. When I went into the office I actually got to meet Tiffany and Angela, who were both just as sweet in person as they were on the phone. I truly hate having to deal with the mundane. I consider insurance - the mundane. But, we have to have it (God forbid). Thank goodness Angela Hiatt at the Todd Main State Farm Insurance Agency has it covered. She's made it so easy for me. I have been with State Farm forever. Really over 20 years. I have had a few claims in my years and they are so quick to take care of you. I was in a car accident years ago with my daughter and Melissa "the best agent ever", made sure to replace the car seat. There was seriously little damage to my vehicle but her concern for my daughter's safety amazed me. That was over 10 years ago. Although my family is not in the area I would never consider switching our insurance agency. My wife and I get all the support we need, perhaps the best customer service around.
