I just left this review on State Farm but for those of you who prefer yelp take a moment as it is so worth the read. I was setting up an account for my mother and was lucky enough to speak with Andrij Chaian at Todd Markman office. I had been with another company for almost 25 years and wasn't looking to change. But I agreed to have him quote me anyway. When he called me back (in record time) I was shocked at the savings. Had Andrij not been so personable I probably would have concluded my business and been stuck paying a HUGE amount more monthly somewhere else. He walked me through everything, answered all of my questions, his follow up is impeccable and his customer service on everything was notable. I have been a State Farm client for about 35 years. I called my State Farm, agent, Todd Markman, to get some information. His assistant referred me to a claims agent to answer my questions. I did not call to make a claim; I called to get information in case I decided to make a claim. My car was scraped in a parking lot and I didn't know it until I saw the passenger side of the car. I wanted to know how a claim would be made in case I decided to do so, and who the preferred body repair shops are and how they work. The claims agent said that she would send me a list of their vendors and explained the process. The next thing I knew there had been a claim filed, which was definitely not what I requested. Subsequently, that same day, January 22, I received eight emails and six phone messages from State Farm. I was being harassed. I had only requested one email, and that was the list of preferred auto body vendors. I called my agent on January 23 and told his assistant that I did not file a claim. She stated this would be a problem because it was already filed. I was very angry because I NEVER FILED A CLAIM. When I spoke to Todd Markman, I told him that I did not care to remain with State Farm if this is the manner in which they operate. The following day, Friday, the harassment continued. I received a text in the middle of my work day and five more emails. I called my agent and he was in the office but he was "busy". I asked for a return call and it is now six days later and I still haven't received a call. I did go to Gold Coast auto body and the damage was so minimal that they didn't charge anything to buff it out. Now I just looked on my insurance page and there is the claim that that I told at least five State Farm associates that I never requested. This company is beyond disgusting. I am hoping that I can change insurance companies before the due date because I don't care to deal with them for another day. In answer to your response, I did not file a claim at any time. I asked for all of the information. I would like to know the excuses for all of the harassment that I got, the phone calls and the emails, which I did not ask for also. And then lastly I'd like to know your excuse for not calling me back in almost a week. read more

Most people probably look at their insurance company as just another thing that they are forced to have for legal reasons, which is true for the most part. But the experience that I have with this state farm makes it very easy to deal with. Every I have dealt with has been great but specifically I want to commend Sally. She takes the time to make sure the reason you called is taken care of but also is concerned about the person not just take your premium. We have had talks about family and personal life and you just get the sense she genuinely cares. I highly recommend this agency and all of the agents. Keep up the great work. They treat their clientele like garbage. Their website often doesn't work. Their customer service is rude. I've been a client for 20 years. First as a teenager and then as an adult with my own insurance. I have never made a claim as an adult, and I've never missed a payment up until this point which I paid in under a month from the due. They do not care about you. Apparently I have to reliable and they don't. To the response below. While I respect your opinion of my case that you were not aware of I stand by my review 100%. As you well know I am fully aware of who my representative was and is. Sadly Russ passed away. Only under your temporary care did the lack of service occur. It's very obvious that when you receive a low star rating that you contact your friends/colleagues to write fake 5 star reviews in order to counteract real reviews. I would suggest they add more fake details to sell the fake reviews, although that's not actually why Yelp exists. I've had such a great experience working with Todd Markman. I initially met him at a community event almost a year ago. My first impression was that he was someone I want to do business with. After a really bad experience with another auto insurance company I remembered Todd and gave him a call. He remembered meeting me even though so much time had passed. We had to make an insurance claim, but fortunately our agent was Todd Markman at State Farm. He and his staff took time with us, made sure they understood the particulars of the claim, and did everything possible to resolve the situation as quickly as possible with the best possible outcome. Sally was very proactive keeping us posted along the way, and the State Farm adjustor Mercedes even took the extra time to call us late on a Friday to let us know the claim was processed so we didn't have to wait over the weekend. This agency is awesome! Todd help me change over my car insurances and add home insurance in really friendly manner and fast. But, that's not why I'm writing a review for. I just had an accident over the weekend, and I called at the end of the day when they should be closed for the business already, but someone answered the phone and was able to email me my car insurance card over email right away in just seconds, plus, she even called me back after I left me a message to make sure that I got all the information and to provide helpful guidance for my accidents. I'll start of by saying that I'm not a fan of insurance agents. I've had pretty annoying experiences of them trying to sell me products that I don't need. But during my first home purchase, I needed to find someone who would give me exactly what I needed without stressing me further. Todd was recommended to me by my mortgage broker. Because they were already affiliated with each other, the purchase process was far simpler than I imagined. My job was simply to decide which items in my home I wanted to insure and for how much. Todd presented several packages, and went through a thorough description of each offering with me. He is always prompt to respond to my emails, even those sent after we'd already completed the purchase. I was really pleased with how willingly he answers all my questions about home, car, life, disability insurance etc. without trying to sell me more products.
