This is my first visit with Dr. Wilson for a nerve block injection. The procedure was thoroughly explained by the nurse prior to my entering the procedure room, then again by Dr. Wilson when he entered the room. All my questions and concerns had been addressed prior to the injection. The procedure only lasted a few minutes with no complications. I then waited 15 minutes to confirm I had no reactions or issues. The following day the nurse phoned to verify all was well. I was very happy all went well and the injection was a success.

He has treated various back issues for me successfully for seven years. I have probably referred six patients to him, all receiving superior care and outcomes. Today I am feeling hurt, betrayed, and yet in severe pain. I called the Carmel office two weeks ago to request an injection. The scheduler checked to insure that I was not violating a "waiting period" between shots. I explained that the pain had been more severe with a short three month span than I usually experience after nine months to a year after Dr. Mac's expert therapy. I'm back in my office after I was turned away, an hour ago because the front office had no record of my appointment. Bad show. The scheduler was pleasant and seemed pleased to slot me into an appointment within a relatively short wait given that my pain levels were so high. The front office staff this morning were agreeable and I believed attempted to fit me into the schedule after telling me that I did not have an appointment. I'm writing this arguably because I am disappointed. I will continue to depend on Dr Macadaeg and his care. Perhaps he and his partners might examine best practices regarding their support staff processes. I forced him to cite his reference to support his conclusions. I asked that the citation be included in the clinical notes. He did not include it. After going back and requesting it, his office staff spoke to him and they provided a citation that undermines his own conclusions and documented findings. Don't expect an honest assessment. I have already placed a call to file a formal complaint. So far I have not received a response. Whether Goodman Campbell, writ large, is 1-star, I can't say. My experience with Dr. DePowell was sub 1-Star.

He is one of the leading neurosurgeons in the world when it comes to baclofen pumps so I knew I was in good hands. I had tons of questions and concerns before committing to the surgery. Dr. Lee sat down with me and thoroughly answered all my questions. Since having my surgery, I can honestly say it was the best decision for me. The nurse who maintains my pump is fabulous! This time we did not go to a large general hospital, but went to the spine hospital. The experience was phenomenal. We learned that the spine hospital only hires staff that has a lot of experience with spine surgery. They have the most state of the art equipment and the facility is immaculate. Everyone on staff loves their job and it comes through the way they treat their patients. If you need spine surgery, consider asking your doctor if they work out of this hospital. Insurance covers them the same as any other hospital.

The nurse was very nice, she asked the questions needed of me. She was professional and kind and took her time getting my details as I had many. She never rushed which is a def plus. Shortly after she was done the PA I was scheduled to see came in, we discussed the issues I was having, she was knowledgeable about things that many doctors I encountered in the past did not know, so I was impressed. She took her time listening to me and informing me of my options. I went there very anxious because I had been in pain for weeks and did not know what to expect. All of the staff I encountered were wonderful and I had a very positive experience. I even got a call from them the next day to let me know that they had contacted my insurance about an issue and gave me an update so I can get my medication. I really appreciated that. Very impressed and very thankful to everyone there. A note to future patients, especially the ones inclined to leave 1 star reviews, be nice to the people taking care of you, they are people and being nice to your healthcare workers will make them not only do their job to their best but go above and beyond to be helpful to you too. Since the new place was absorbed by APC it has been a miserable and PAINFUL experience. She has been without a needed medication for almost 3 weeks while fighting a potentially life threatening infection. Have called the number at least 50 times and get sent to voicemail, never a return call. They actually answered yesterday and said the medication would be ready by end of day, it was not and still isn't. Went to the office last week about this issue and couldn't speak to anyone besides the front desk due to "policy". This is incompetence, medical negligence, and mal-practice. Will be contacting the states attorney and a personal one for action. This "consortium" acts and feels like a complete scam with no regard for patients.
