Drove it right back. He put on other parts, this is the second time. Drove another 2 blocks and it was acting up again. Drove it right back. Put a bunch of money into it and it was never fixed. I had to have it towed back to my home town to get it fixed. What a way of taken an advantage of a women going through cancer. I would never take anything there to fix. My antilock breaks kick on unexpectedly often when I stop my vehicle. I described what my breaks were doing when I stopped my car to the owner Todd. He immediately thought it was the antilock breaks as well. I dropped my car off and got a phone call later that day. Todd said that the original price would go from $200ish to $421 dollars because they had to replace the box around the car antilock breaks sensor on the passenger side. Well, I said if it fixes the problem then go ahead. $421 later and my breaks still have the exact same issue that I took it in for, started almost as soon as I left their parking lot so they obviously didn't test it thoroughly. It did it the very next day too, 7 times on my way to work, for a 10 minute drive. I called Todd that morning and he said to bring it back and if there's any issues with the part they put in they'd take care if it. After his mechanic does some tests he tells me that it's the other antilock break sensor in the other wheel this time. And then Todd tells me that this repair will cost at least another $200. After conveniently telling me before I left the lot that the other wheel antilock break could go bad... But that doesn't happen 5 minutes after leaving the car repair shop. It made the exact same noise. It was the exact same issue. It was almost as if they never repaired what needed to be repaired. If they didn't know what they were doing then fine. If they legitimately thought they fixed it then fine. But don't tell me it's repaired when it's obviously not because you obviously didn't test it after the "repair." Don't patronize me by saying like "things just break down in cars." If I went to the doctor and spent $421 on a procedure he did but it didn't help my condition would I go back to that doctor ever? Would I throw away another $421 to do it again? No chance in hell. Stay away from this place. Take your money and donate it to charity or toss it out a window or something. Then you'll know your money has a chance to be more productive than wasting your time and money at Todd's. This review could have been prevented with a simple appology or at least an acknowledgement that they didn't fix my car. Not only will Todd's lose thousands of dollars from my future repeat business they lost but they will lose thousands of dollars due to me not recommending them to anyone I know. Todd! ---- WE MADE IT TO PORTLAND OR!!!! Lol - kinda wanna give you a hug :) I canNOT say enough GREAT things about Todd's. My fella has a '79 Ford truck - you'd think the old ones would be simple, but it still takes a shop with the professionals that have some real talent with mechanics. In the end, it comes down to trust, trust, trust. Because you've been treated well, because the work has spoken for itself, because somehow when you get the bad news that something pretty big needs to be done you trust that you aren't being lied to, or that you aren't getting the advice of an...i...diot.
