I called him and he told me word for word " I have a replacement axle " for my rim. I get there and again he tells me he can't help me. I have a professional drone person I hired and I had all new parts on this bike like hundreds and this broke and ended my day at the start. then they refuse to help? look at the pictures to see what I mean. It is withing a mile of my house. We went in on a Wednesday around noon. There were two guys working and both greeted us and one really jumped in to get moving with our needs. He took her bike, popped it up on the bike jack (not sure if that is an official term) and got to work. He gave us a few tips to continue to care for her bikeas well. We were in and out of the store withing 20 minutes and spent $21 on a tire repair. My daughter was thrilled to have her wheels back and I was thrilled it was quick and reasonable! When a bike lock won't unlock half the time, that's a problem. Although the lock was made overseas, Dash stood by the customer and refunded my money. THAT IS HOW CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD WORK. The math really doesn't math with that scenario. Anyways, this location is very spacious and carries quite a bit of stock for every sport imaginable. The store is also very organized and if you start on the left side you'll travel through each sports section like it was a museum...a museum of sporting goods. This store is also jam packed with sales associates that actually are knowledgeable and approachable, at least one corporation still acknowledges the benefit of hiring human beings. The product prices vary but everything I buy from them usually lasts. So in conclusion I would recommend this specific Dick's location to other sports minded consumers.

I've also visited the flagship store in Maine, I love the quality and style of L.L.Bean. I left my car charging and walked over to L.L.Bean. Once inside, I entered a beautiful and well stocked store. The nice part about L.L.Bean is they have mannequins dressed in a full ensemble to give you ideas on how to pair their clothes. From the shoes/socks to the layers of shirts, L.L.Bean just owns this style. I found a green sweater (not too bulky) with a lighter green collared shirt for a nice layered look. With any L.L.Bean, going to the cash register is last attention grab. There are candies, soaps and L.L.Bean coffee mugs wanting to come home with you. I grabbed a bar of soap that smelled like pine trees. When I arrived at the register, I gave them my information and my profile populates the screen. I'm given a receipt and I'm on my way. Visited this place in October with a coworker we both bought Segway scooters for our commute to…read morework. My coworker took his right on the spot. Mine wasn't ready. I was told to come back tomorrow. I tried calling the next day, but nobody answered the phone so I showed up they didn't remember me. I told him I had purchased a scooter yesterday with my coworker, and then they went to look for it and they said it still wasn't ready and they needed to charge it . I came back the following day called again. No answer showed up didn't know who I was again reminded him an went to get my scooter ready for me to take one problem, though there was no charger with the brand new scooter. He could not find it. So he gave me a charger from behind the counter fast forward to today, May 5, 2026. I tried calling again no answer so I drove in. Doors were locked. Lights are on went to the front and back entrance. No sign of anyone one last check I see the guy who sold me the scooter in the window. I motion to him to come over. He comes over. he lets me in. I tell him about my scooter, he tells me to bring it in. I told him the back brake is no longer working, and my rear tire was making a grinding noise. He told me I could leave it to fill out my information before leaving. I asked him when he thought somebody would be able to take a look at it and he told me about a month. He stated the technician wasn't in today and that they had a backlog of scooters that needed to be repaired, which he pointed to in the corner and then told me there was multiple down in the basement of the same model. I told him that wasn't an option for me to wait over a month and that the scooter is still under warranty for another five months he tried to refer me to a scooter shop in Cambridge, which I live nowhere near and not paying for something that was under warranty. I then asked him what to do and he told me to call Segway the scooter company. And then again referred me to the scooter shop in Cambridge, which I had to reiterate that was not an option and I am not paying for something that is still under warranty. I asked him for Segway's number which he told me he did not have and to "Google it". My only dealings with this place twice have not been good and not the best customer service to say the least. Scooters were $1100 with tax and are under warranty for another five months and they are telling me I have to wait over a month to even get it looked at. Unacceptable!

Because of the misunderstanding they offered us a 50% discount for the future, which we were excited to use. We planned another trip up and when I called, Steve advised me to book the reservation and he'd apply the discount afterwards. We rented 2 e-bikes for $200, and had a nice day riding around the north shore. At the time we picked them up, Steve mentioned that he owed us the discount. We dropped them off at the end of the day and everything seemed good. Unfortunately it was never applied I've heard zilch from Steve since then. I've emailed multiple times about it and gotten no response. At this point it's been a month. Presumably since we've paid he just doesn't care? In the end, we had been willing to pay full price the first time around, but it's really disappointing to get a bait-and-switch like this.
