The paw print service is phenomenal and the remains are handed over in the same area as human remains so this facility is to be commended. I've said goodbye to two dear friends, companions, and loves of my lives and wouldn't have imagined entrusting their remains to anyone else. My personal remains will be entrusted to their care. If you've said goodbye at your vet, demand Groff. They are impeccable. If you've said your goodbye at home, skip the vet and take them straight to Groff. A vet will bag and freeze your pet like a hog ready for sale. Take them directly to the crematorium and save a couple bucks, and avoid the mass bulldozer graves. You owe it to your loved one.

When I got my pet back the urn they put him in looked like a miniature garbage can. Cheap, ugly dark plastic! The container wasn't even cleaned up on the outside. It was smudged and a sticker was placed on the outside of the urn with the name on it. That sticker looked like it came out of a kids sticker book. It was such a disgrace that they would charge a person for that shoddy work! I will NEVER go back here any of my pet services! I've had other pets done in the past by other places and they were done beautifully. They were placed in a nice wooded box with a gold plate on it with the dates of there life. Completely unacceptable!

The vet who came, sorry I don't remember her name, was nothing short of amazing! Her words assured us we were doing the right thing. "You are giving Nina the most difficult gift that you have ever given." When it came time for my youngest son to say goodbye to his beloved Ryker, we didn't hesitate to call Gentle Farewell. Unfortunately, we did not have the same comforting experience. Dr. Parker was not unkind, but we certainly didn't connect with her glowing testimonials on the website. All 5 of us present, found her to be competent, but clinical and a bit rushed. Maybe she was having a bad day, but we certainly weren't left with the same feeling of empathy as the first experience.

I wanted her final moments to be peaceful and free of stress, so instead of going to the vet clinic, I scheduled a home visit with A Gentle Farewell. From the moment Dr. Orlando stepped through the door, her warmth and compassion filled the room. She was gentle, patient, and everything you would hope for in someone guiding you through such a difficult day. She took time to explain each step with care, always pausing to ensure I was comfortable and understood what would happen next. Saying goodbye is never easy, but Dr. Orlando's kindness and respect made all the difference. She treated my sweet girl with such tenderness, giving her a calm, dignified transition over the rainbow bridge. Though it's a moment no pet parent ever wants to face, I am deeply grateful to have had Dr. Orlando's support. I would wholeheartedly recommend A Gentle Farewell to anyone who wants their beloved companion's final moments to be filled with peace and love.

Please take the time to read, as this may be quite lengthy…read more I know the nature of doing business is trying to make a profit, however, based on our personal interaction with Paul, you would never get the impression that making a profit was what mattered. He made it abundantly clear that you and the loss of your beloved pet is what mattered. We called to seek services and without even hesitation or the mention of packages and pricing, all Paul wanted to know was "What was her name." Not in a way to write up a form, but in general interest of wanting to know what important pet has left your family. My family has been in animal rescue for years and no one has ever taken that caring approach on wanting to know about the pet first. What was she like, how she mattered to you and her importance in your life. He made you feel like you indeed are dealing with a loss and it was definitely significant. Upon meeting him, it was understood why. He had a dog, Brady, that was his whole world. This dog travelled the nation with him and was his companion for years. He was known in the community and was very beloved. Sadly, he passed away and Paul knew first hand the great loss it weighs on the heart. He took that loss and somehow translated into being able to comfort those during their sadness and making them feel like they are not just a transaction. He sympathized, because he felt that pain before. He understood, because he has been there before. And for some, these pets are their whole world, and he has known that, because he had Brady. This is the kind of care that you want handling your cremations for your fur babies. You want someone who will cradle them, as they carry them away from your car and you want someone who hands you back a beautiful urn with a lovely wildflower seed heart to plant, so that the love continues to live on. I do not say this lightly, but if you are in your time of despair due to pet loss... Paul is the best person to handle your cremation needs. Thank you Paul.

They were very kind and compassionate. When my daughter left, she broke down crying in the parking lot. A very kind male employee came up to her car to check on her, which meant so much to me, because I wasn't able to be there with her. They also gave her multiple options to personalize her purchase, including the paw print, and that's so comforting to have, forever. Faithful Companion returned her kitty to her (directly to her vet) quickly, and it meant a lot. They helped us get through a very difficult time. I highly recommend them for anyone within driving distance (my daughter drove quite some way to get there, and it was worth it).

When we arrived to drop her off, it was very close to their closing time, yet not once did we feel rushed or pressured. The staff waited for us with patience and kindness, guiding us calmly through the process and giving us the space to say our farewells. The pickup was handled with the same warmth and dignity. Every person we met here was helpful, polite, friendly, and genuinely caring--people who clearly have a passion for honoring our beloved pets. Knowing Maow was treated with such respect brought us comfort in our grief. We cannot thank them enough and wholeheartedly recommend Faithful Companion to anyone facing this difficult goodbye.

She always hated the vet, and I shuddered at the thought of going to the vet's impersonal office - I had visions of metal tables, all business, and a horrid pit in my stomach for the rest of my life. Our family decided that in home compassionate euthanasia was how we wanted to handle things. Unfortunately, it took several calls over about a 7 hour span to our vet to try to get a recommendation, as I did NOT want to go pot luck on something like this. The place they suggested was lovely, but couldn't come until the following evening. During that time, our beautiful fur baby deteriorated significantly. I couldn't bear the thought of her suffering. My sister made some calls to get recommendations, and Dr. Fraser from In-Home Pet Loss came recommended from three independent sources. He was able to get to us within a few hours. He explained every single thing that he did. He was gentle. He was caring. He was completely respectful of all of us. We kept her in her bed, which truly was her happy place, and we were able to hold her, stroke her, and talk to her the entire time. It was as dignified and peaceful as possible. While we all knew it was time, none of us wanted to say goodbye, but Dr. Fraser helped guide us through the process. He provided us paw prints for our memories, and when everything was over, he carried her out in her bed, (which he then returned to us) which was much more comforting than I could have expected. Thank you, Dr. Fraser, for helping us through truly one of the most heartbreaking things we have been through.
