When I went to pick up the ashes, I went to the cemetery address because I was not instructed to go to the "drop off" location and then I went to their "drop off" location which was a residential home and was greeted with a "no trespassing" sign. when I called, I was told she was in the shower and asked about my payment. I told them I didn't have cash and was expecting a real business location with card processors. They callously asked me how long it would take for me to run to a store to get the money... i figured out where the nearest store was, got the money and called again while at the residence. they told me to come in the back door which felt scary since there were random men outside near by. I went in to their house, paid and they gave me my dogs remains in the cheapest plastic box they could find- I was never offered any options/upgrades. very unprofessional, weird and insensitive service. I don't even trust that this is my dogs ashes.

From the jump PVVC was the first place that didn't make me feel like getting someone on the phone was an inconvenience. My dudes ears were extremely infected. It wasn't enough to qualify for an emergency, but needed to be addressed quickly. They got him in the same day and treated him with so much kindness and care. It was great. We had our follow up today and was met with that same level of care. I'm not one who has a lot of triggers, but I was asked before his vaccinations if I needed to leave before they got out any needles. That meant a lot to me. They care about their humans as much as the pets. Even though it's out of the way, I will continue to support Pine Valley Veterinary Clinic because honestly, they provide a level of care I've barely recognized in hooman hospitals.

They don't take advantage of grief like others local places seem to do. Most of the time, I just had the service that the vet office used, but when the price was around $500 was quoted when I made the appointment for Oscar, I decided that I had time to look around because I had a few days. I found them and they were local so I called them after seeing their website and the prices. I got someone who had lost their beloved pet and got into the business because of the charges other charge. I let them know who Oscar's vet was and they told me that they have picked up from them before. The vet office had no problem and since I had to go in after work, they could pick Oscar up quickly. I picked up the ashes but they will deliver them also. You can even drop off your pet. They explained everything and even made extra copies of nose print and paws prints for Oscar's other mom. All for just under $200. Since I just adopted a 17 year old cat, I will probably need their services again. I will use them gladly.
