a hand holding a menu for a sushi restaurant

This place is pretty amazing. They have a decent size parking lot that they share with a couple other businesses. They do call in orders which is what I did this visit, but they also have tables and booths if you want a sit down Resturant experience. I have never been disappointed any time I've came here to eat or get food to take home. The portions are large and food is always hot and fresh. The sushi rolls are wonderful and I for one am so thankful to finally have something like this in close proximity to home! You definitely can't go wrong coming here to eat!

I am always willing to try a sushi place but if it is in a gas station or in front of Walmart, I sometimes temper my expectations. There was no need here. This place is exceptional. I tried a cross section of the menu just to see if there was a weak spot. I started with the yaki udon soup. Sometimes, when you see "seafood", a place will throw in a shrimp and think that counts. Tokyo served two crab legs in the bowl. Amazing! The yaki udon soup also came with two shrimp tempura. Perfectly flayed and lightly fried. I then tried some maki rolls. I played it safe with unagi and salmon. These were great. It is hard to screw them up but this place had earned my trust by now. I was really full by now but I wanted to see if they really had it in them. I ordered hamachi sashimi. Absolutely stellar. It wasn't oily or slimy. Straight fresh and sharply cut. It wasn't crazy busy but it was astonishingly fast with every order. I know two pieces of sashimi is the easiest order but some places still take a couple of minutes to get to it. From order to being back at my table was literally 30 seconds. There's more demand for quality sushi down in Princeton but Washington is delivering it. This is my new go-to in Washington.

Do not come here unless you want to feel you're not welcomed! From the first entrance to my seat no smiles just dull service! I'm a truck driver and all I wanted was some smiles after a long day, maybe even just better interaction! I left before I ate so I'm not sure how the food was! Maybe y'all will have a better experience! The owner played on her phone at a table in the actual dining area instead of their office!

I ordered off the menu (not the buffet) which really confused the cashier. She had no idea what #19 was and I had to show her on a printed menu. The #19 is cashew chicken (no mushrooms) with rice and an egg roll. It took about 10 minutes to get my food after I gave the waitress my ticket. Very hot and full of flavor. Lots of veggies in the chicken and rice - yea . It was hard to find a clean table to sit at. The decor in the dining room is very nice and elegant, and quiet. The parking lot was cleared off really considering all the snow we've had the past few days.

Technically, yes, you can eat all you want... if you're brave enough to survive the crab rangoon roulette. One bite was cream cheese. The next one? Suspiciously sweet. The third? I think it tried to fight back. The General Tso's chicken was neither general, nor chicken, nor food. It was more like a crunchy mystery coated in a sticky existential crisis. I asked the waiter what it was made of and he said, "Don't worry, it's cooked." That was not comforting. Sushi at a buffet is always a gamble, but this one felt like I was betting my will to live. I took one bite and immediately remembered every mistake I've ever made. Final straw? I opened my fortune cookie and it was empty. Like my soul. Like the parking lot. Like the promises of that buffet. Would I go back? No. Would I send my enemies there? Absolutely.

We were quickly greeted and seated. The restaurant was meticulously clean!! The food was cooked fresh and tasted delightful! I started my order with the New York roll, a lightly breaded and deep fried roll and it was amazing! For the entree I opted for the Filet, Chicken, and Shrimp hibachi. Again, the food came out fast, freshly prepared, and tasted amazing! The portions were bigger than average with enough hibachi left over for the following days lunch.

However, their carryout service was really busy with people coming in and out. I ordered the Chicken Hibachi dinner. I wanted to compare it to other restaurants that offer this dish. It's served with a clear soup and green salad, vegetables and fried rice. I didn't like the soup but the salad was very tasty. The serving of chicken and rice was ample. I even took some home which is rare for me. The vegetables were delicious, the fried rice was tasty and the chicken was seasoned well. It was a good dinner, but just not as good as the places I usually get this meal. My husband got the sushi and was disappointed. He found it pretty bland, when it was suppose to be a spicy dish, and didn't like how the fish was cut up. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The server was attentive. Since it was hard to hear our conversation due to the TV, I asked her to turn it down and she did. That is a pet peeve of mine. Unless you are in a bar, I don't know why TVs need to be in restaurants. It's a good restaurant, but it didn't meet my expectations.

We didn't end up getting our food until over an hour. There was only one server to fill online orders, answer the phone, wait on the people tables, and take care of walk ins. They loose one star because the waiter didn't seem to care to help us. She asked if we were ready to order, my dad asked a question, she answered and then walked away. From that point she seemed more interested in chatting with her little girl. My dad finally flagged her down and she came back. When I asked her a similar yet different question she laughed at me and basically said it was the same answer she gave my dad. So here it is, there are only lunch specials on the week days even though it is only clearly marked on the hibachi lunch but not on the teriyaki lunch. Once we ordered the salads and soups came out pretty quickly. But then our dinners came out in waves. Of course, mine came out after everyone else's. If I hadn't planned on eating the majority of my son's bento box I would have been more irritated. The second lost star was for cleanliness. The bathroom was not well kept at all. The mirror was gross, there was barely any soap, and this was the second time I haven't been able to figure out how to lock the door. In addition, the front of the dinning area is very dusty. You can tell they don't really go up there often. But it's the first thing you see when you walk in. So, they should probably keep it a little nicer. But over all, the food is always excellent. This is the only reason we go back. There's not much variety in Olney. So you have to take what you can get. The prices are a little high for not having a dinner show. But you definitely get a lot of food and it's good quality. I'll pay a little more not to have to drive to a bigger town just to get good hibachi.
