Agreed, the club is "older", but always clean! Membership is always cordial and professional! I have lived in Sylvania Township for 41 years and been a member of 4 different clubs...Not one of the 4 was better than or equal to SJC.

The amount and variety of equipment and 24/7 access is what really sealed the deal. You don't have to worry about the problems faced when going to chain gyms such as variety of equipment as previously stated. Nor do you have to spend a 1/3 of your session waiting on equipment. Nor have I encountered any issues as far as up keep and cleanliness. All staff have been welcoming and friendly. Surprised there aren't more patrons that attend this gym. Simply was questioning about a higher than normal charge and first they gave a number and said call it. Then the number didn't answer and they decided to be condescending about it. The entire experience was negative. Many of the pieces of equipment are broken and need maintenance but I guess the new owner only cares about taking money from the business instead of putting money back into it. It's upsetting that the customer service had to be so unprofessional. Membership cancelled.
