I previously had our water tested by an independent lab and, even though Grant did not know about these lab results, everything he said lined up with the lab results I had. I appreciate the honesty in something that seems like it can sometimes be a shady business. Mike came out for the install. I liked that he came with the right tools for the job and clearly knew what he was doing. He made sure everything was done exactly right and explained the water softener in detail. We have been using them for salt deliveries, which have been on time and reliable. Water Boy feels like a very wholesome and positive family company, which I very much prefer over some faceless corporation with cheesy sales people.

When we came home, we saw that water was leaking out of the pool. They did not connect the heater and left with the pool full of leaves. This ment that since they had closed the pool in September, they closed it without cleaning it. I called and left a message- no return call. Called 6 more times, left 4 messages on the machine and 2 messages with a person who said both times, "I will have Susan call you." No call from Susan. So, as far as they know, they left me with water leaking and no heater but they don't care. In addition when I took a water sample to D and R they noted that no chlorine was added to the pool when they opened it. So I paid Stone Pools $208 for nothing! DO NOT USE STONE POOLS! Horrible!

Originally, I used Pool and Spa because the previous owner had recommended them. It seems as though it must be a family business? When I first called, I spoke to a woman who I think was the wife of the owner. She was very nice and promised that someone would come out to show us how to use the pool (since we were new owners) when they opened up the pool. She also said they would vacuum to waste the pool after they opened up the pool. When the guys came out, I mentioned that I was told they would show us how to run the pool. They said they would get us after they opened up the pool. Not only did they NOT teach us how to run the pool, they didn't vacuum to waste the pool either but charged us for both services (over $100!). When I called to complain, I spoke to the same woman who again was really nice. She made an excuse that the guys were busy with many openings and said she would send them out again to vacuum to waste the pool. They came out again and eventually did the vacuum to waste. Of course, I made the mistake of using them again for the closing. Mostly because the lady called at the end of the season to ask about the closing and she was super nice again. I thought that I would give them a second change but I was once again disappointed because they were supposed to vacuum to waste the pool before closing it. I didn't trust that they would, so I made sure to check after they had left and I could see that they hadn't done it! When I called to ask if they had, they said that they didn't but on the bill they once again charged me for it!! I made them come back out and open up the pool to vacuum it out! On top of that, they broke my vacuum head, lost my hose nozzle, and ruined my hose! During that time, I had the chance to speak to an older man (I'm assuming the husband/owner of the company) was very rude on the phone. If you plan on using them to open/close your pool, make sure to check your bill so that you are only charged for services that they've provided! After being charged 3 times for services that I didn't received, I decided they could not be trusted anymore. After all, they were charging me for bottles of chlorine, etc that I'm not even sure if they actually put into my pool or not.

The grass area is great for relaxing and you can see the pool from most area's. There is also a concession stand where you can get food and drinks for reasonable prices. City residence have preferred pricing, but it's open to all.
