We had port in a chocolate cup probably the best thing we had.

First off Amanda served us and she was fairly new but she was really sweet and helpful. I'm sorry I don't think this is a four or five star winery. We live near Paso Robles and most of those wineries surpass this one. We sat outside and it was very pleasant and we were not rushed. $20 for tasting and I bought one bottle

Another great event at Tolenas!! Galentines Day with Mom. Made some beautiful Charcuterie bouquet and of course had great wine. Just a wonderful evening to celebrate women and our unique friendships and relationships. Thank you @Tolenas for such a lovely evening !! And @Graze Solano

The staff here are the coolest, sweetest people you'll ever meet. Graze Solano provides their delicious charcuterie cones. It's such a cute Suisun valley winery with a beautiful view of the vineyards and the they always have a bunch of gorgeous flower arrangements at each tasting table/barrel and blooming flowers surrounding the house. I absolutely love all of their wines, especially their rosé. They always have the best rosé. I am not a red person and usually don't enjoy the part of the tasting when I get to the reds, but Tolenas has such amazing full bodied reds that are delicious. If you want to feel comfortable and at home while tasting, while still getting the fancy winery vibes, this is your spot.

A beautiful place to visit and taste wine! They are a service-driven, low-key, no-hassle winery where you can relax with friends and even take your family. Their wines are AMAZING - you'll likely leave with a few bottles!!! Lisa, Cliff, and Tolenas Winery do not disappoint!

This little place is nice. As you are driving down the road, you will see a barn that's really big and a house next to it. If you see those two together that is where you park. As you start walking towards the back, you will see the set up of chairs and shade with a few large trees. come to find out the grapes that are grown to your left, you're right, I'm behind you in the backyard are the exact items that you are drinking when you taste of wine. Grapes are grown and made right on the process. I love places like that. We came in search of sweet wine, and we found that they have one and it is very very tasty.

We recently joined Tolenas as we moved to Benicia and wanted to spend more time in the Suisun Valley. We love that Tolenas is dog-friendly, that we can bring our own food, that the vibe is chill instead of pretentious and, oh yeah, the wine is great also :) Eden is wonderful and we can't wait to come for another tasting soon.

    A hidden gem.

Just happened to be in town for a soccer game and came across this hidden gem. We had our 2 tweens with us, so we needed to find a family-friendly winery and a place we could just swing by with no reservations. We found a winner! The most important thing for me when visiting a business is how they treat you. Right away, we were welcomed with a smile and offered our girls water and blankets since it was a tad chilly. The staff was down to Earth, which made us feel at ease. They shared great info about the property and their wines, but they spoke to us like we were friends. The experience never felt pretentious, and their tasting fee was reasonable; $20 for a generous flight. They let us walk around, and we took lots of pictures. Our daughters loved how green and pretty everything looked...and they pointed out a pink porta potty with a pink sink... how cute!?!? So, while our girls explored, the hubby & I got to enjoy the wines. I personally loved their Rose wine, and their port was very different but tasty. We would love to go back with some friends as we love to support these types of wineries. Definitely check them out if you happened to be in this area!

This was our first visit to the winery. We made a tasting reservation online for that day and it was pretty easy. There isn't much signage leading up to the winery, so you need to have instructions leading up to the location. The winery is small but very picturesque. The sitting area in the back is very cute and cozy. Plenty of seating and shade, with the vines growing all around you. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and the winery itself. I learned a lot about the wines in the area. We didn't feel rushed and I enjoyed all of the wines we tasted, both the white and red varietals. We took two bottles home with us. I look forward to returning and exploring more wineries in the area!

What a perfect place to start a day of wine tasting in the Suisun Valley. We had a reso right at opening. Drove up to this adorable white house surrounded by a picket fence. Various tables were set about the front yard covered with umbrellas. Very charming. We were greeted by Mike, who was also the one who lead us through our wine tasting. He was wonderful - very informative and super personable. We learned a lot of great history about the surrounding area and Tolenas itself. We were so curious that Mike actually introduced us to one the owners, Cliff, who spent a lot of time with us, thoroughly giving us the rundown of how Tolenas began and the exciting future the company has in front of it. Some standouts during our tasting were 2022 Eclipse (a white Pinot noir), 2022 Rosé, and the 2022 Sauvignon Blanc. We also went to Total Wine & More to track down a couple bottles of their famed "El Camino Red Blend" as they had just recently started selling their wine in-store across CA. Do yourself a favor and visit this sweet, family-run winery before they skyrocket in popularity!

A quaint, hidden gem that's located about 10 minutes from my hometown. The place is so lovely and serene! The location is a little off of Rockville Rd by 80. My boyfriend made reservations online for the afternoon. The tasting flight is $20, and the tasting flight + charcuterie cone is $30. It was my first time trying the local wineries around. The workers here are very friendly and informative about each tasting. Lisa, the owner also welcomed us and told us about the story of her winery and how it came to be. It was a nice sunny day, we chose a seat outside near the vineyards overlooking the hills. My favorites were the Eclipse White Pinot Noir and the dessert wine. We ended up buying 2 bottles of the desset wine to take back home. I will most likely be back here with friends since the location is very convienent :)

Delicious wines in a peaceful (albeit windy) backyard tasting area. If it weren't for the portapotty I'd give it 5 stars.

Our waitstaff serving the wines was a bit lazy, sorry to say. He didn't care to explain too much about wines and when we asked a question he kind of had an attitude. The main building was designed by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, whose architecture firm produced some Apple Store and Blue Bottle Coffee locations. From the moment you check in you're captivated by the grounds. They pour six wines and we opted for the charcuterie board. The charcuterie board has a nice spread of olives, white & red wine salami, various cheeses and macadamia nuts. My favorite cheese was the Espresso White Cheddar. As for the wines my favorite wine out of everything i tasted wasn't on the wine flight but purchased separately. That would be the Emmolo Vineyards No 9 Sparkling Brut. The staff at the self service bar was very friendly but our personal tasting staff left a little more to be desired. We wish he would have broke down what flavor and scent notes each wine had, what charcuterie items paired well with what wines and remind us to rinse our glasses between tastings to avoid mixed flavor notes. He was more so in a rush and even after being tipped was sort of in a rush to get us out so he could get the table ready for the next party. We wound up getting two bottles of 2019 Grand Durif Petite Sirah to go, as when you spend over $100 your wine tasting is comped. The gift shop is lovely and on the way out don't forget to treat yourself with a nice espresso. Would be nice if they also offered iced or hot tea for those that aren't into coffee.

The views alone are worth it -- rolling vineyards, open skies, and a layout that gives guests room to breathe and actually enjoy themselves. We noticed the beautiful property, the giant wine glass sculpture, and a sign for live music on Friday night, so we decided to stop in. Jeff greeted us at the door and immediately made us feel welcome. After hearing we enjoy sparkling wine, he poured us a taste of their Brut, which was crisp, refreshing, and good enough that we ordered a bottle to enjoy while the band set up. The atmosphere here is fantastic with comfortable seating, a lively crowd, and genuinely friendly staff like Jessica & Jeff. They also shared a little history of the winery and introduced us to some of their house-made spirits, including a surprisingly smooth vodka crafted from Chardonnay grapes. My friend especially loved their tequila selection. Once Sixty Scandals started playing their '80s covers, the place came alive. People were dancing, laughing, and just having a great time. We even ended up making a few new wine friends during the evening. Before we left, my friend joined the wine club, and we walked out with bottles, hats, and plans to come back soon. We also had the chance to meet the owner, who was humble, welcoming, and clearly passionate about creating a fun community space. If you're in the Fairfield/Suisun area, Bally Keal is absolutely worth checking out. Cheers / sláinte!

There's a counter area where you can order coffee, pastries, breakfast items, or food to-go, while the left side has a hostess stand if you'd prefer full table service inside or on the patio. The brunch menu was a bit limited, and I ended up ordering the croissant sandwich. The croissant itself was soft and fresh, but overall the sandwich left me wanting a little more flavor. It was on the smaller side, didn't have much bacon, and even with the preserved tomato aioli it felt a bit underwhelming. The breakfast potatoes also weren't really my favorite. They were small whole potatoes with the skins on and heavily seasoned with cayenne pepper. Personally, I would've liked another side option such as fresh fruit. That said, the staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. For two croissant sandwiches, two iced teas, and a side of fries, the total came to around $70 with tip, which felt a little pricey for the overall experience. The property itself is beautiful. It looks like they host live music and events in the outdoor quad area, and I noticed they also offer wood-fired pizza after 11 AM, which honestly sounds worth coming back to try. Overall, I have mixed feelings as the atmosphere and service were great, but the food didn't quite live up to expectations for me personally.
