A great initiative to have a soccer watch party but poorly executed with only one TV the size that any home would have crammed in a small room. Arriving at 5:05pm and there was no seats available in the small room with the one TV. Folks were scattered trying to catch a glimpse of the game. Most of the wines were available other than Nurseryman. Overall, I think this is a big missed opportunity that watch parties should be left to the places with a better venue or more TVs.

Absolutely gorgeous grounds and architecture, with some decent wines. The grounds are lined with 140 palm trees, including the tik tok viral palm tree road. The main building was designed by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, whose architecture firm produced some Apple Store and Blue Bottle Coffee locations. From the moment you check in you're captivated by the grounds. They pour six wines and we opted for the charcuterie board. The charcuterie board has a nice spread of olives, white & red wine salami, various cheeses and macadamia nuts. My favorite cheese was the Espresso White Cheddar. As for the wines my favorite wine out of everything i tasted wasn't on the wine flight but purchased separately. That would be the Emmolo Vineyards No 9 Sparkling Brut. The staff at the self service bar was very friendly but our personal tasting staff left a little more to be desired. We wish he would have broke down what flavor and scent notes each wine had, what charcuterie items paired well with what wines and remind us to rinse our glasses between tastings to avoid mixed flavor notes. He was more so in a rush and even after being tipped was sort of in a rush to get us out so he could get the table ready for the next party. We wound up getting two bottles of 2019 Grand Durif Petite Sirah to go, as when you spend over $100 your wine tasting is comped. The gift shop is lovely and on the way out don't forget to treat yourself with a nice espresso. Would be nice if they also offered iced or hot tea for those that aren't into coffee.

Stunning Winery. Well priced for wine tasting. Interior and exterior are very instagram worthy. Complimentary coffee after wine tasting is a thoughtful touch & I truly enjoyed it. Our waitstaff serving the wines was a bit lazy, sorry to say. He didn't care to explain too much about wines and when we asked a question he kind of had an attitude. I would have docked a star for this but it wouldn't be fair to this place. Can't wait to go back

Beautiful venue and reasonably priced! Customer service was too good- they pushed our reservation back a couple hours with multiple weeks notice (no big deal) and they still comped everything from the tasting to our charcuterie board to gifting us 2 free bottles! We were shocked and scrambled to gather all the cash we had to leave a generous tip. Would definitely go back! Also the perfect half way meet up point between Sacramento and SF

Love Caymus Suisun (and St Helena) winery and really enjoy their wines. This winery is newer than the St. Helena winery (built about two or three years ago. They focus on producing Grand Durif (Petite Sirah) and the Walking Fool red blend which is one of my favorites. This winery is really well laid out with plenty of room for small or large crowds and has a really good feel to it: plenty of light enters through all the windows, there are lots of places to sit and be social, and the staff is among the friendliest I have met. Additionally, the owner and his family are big supporters of the military (Thank you Mr Wagner and family!!!!). Being retired military, I appreciate they support those in uniform! I always try to stop at one of their wineries, taste, and bring home a few bottles when I am close. Love those reds!

I really enjoyed my visit to caymus! I had no idea it was so close to home. We decided to do a girls meet up and it is such a beautiful property! Be warned that there are two different sites. I went to the restaurant so if you are looking for the winery make sure you turn right when you drive in instead of going straight lol. If you don't have a resy they only let you do by the glass which kind of sucks but they did let us sample what sounded interesting so we can choose rather than going in blind. Seating was plentiful and we really appreciated the cool espresso bar on the way out. Such a thoughtful touch and I can't wait go be back!

What a gorgeous winery! Lovely atmosphere. Beautiful seating areas. Wish they had a few more non-alcoholic options for the DD's and I felt their charcuterie was overpriced for what was on the platter. I hate Corn Nuts and I can't believe this was on the tray. There should be more options offered. The service was good. The guys that helped us were friendly. Will return.

My friends and I had an amazing experience today for a tasting. Mandy was our girl and she shared a lot of history that I had never heard of regarding the Wagner family. With the combination of great wine and beautiful weather, our visit could not have gone better! My favorite part was the complementary espresso shot at the end!

One of my favorite red wines of all time. I have been drinking Cayums Cabs for years and I had never been here before. The grounds of the winery are incredible and aesthetically pleasing in every way. We had a tasting and loved every pour. It was a beautiful fall day with crisp air and plenty of sun. Our hostess let us talk and poured our tasting with candor and grace. She told us the history of the Caymus family and its beginnings. . There are plenty of photo ops all around. I love the fact that they give you a shot of espresso freshly brewed before you leave. Great way to get you back to reality as this place is a dream. The coffee is next to the wine shop where we all bought various bottles and picked up on the way out. Here no one insists on joining a wine club because guess what they don't need it! Their wines are loved and revered throughout the world.

Caymus Suisun never disappoints. This was my third visit, and once again it exceeded expectations. Eric, our sommelier, was exceptional--knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about the wines. Our tasting never felt rushed; he took his time walking us through each bottle, sharing its history, and then giving us space to simply enjoy the wine and the beautiful view. There was zero pressure to purchase anything, but the Emmolo bubbles won us over instantly--an easy yes. From start to finish, the experience was perfect. The vineyard itself is serene and stunning, the kind of property you want to stroll through afterward to soak in the scenery and snap a few great photos. Highly recommend.

"Music Under the Palms" is a great music series. The Ambience is beautiful under the Palms! Wine by the glass and lots of free parking. Remember to get there early because it fills up. I love "The Walking Fool" ! It's is a lush, Zinfandel and Petite Sirah-based red blend.

I enjoyed having a private tasting at this winery. Our service included a charcuterie board with five different wine tastings. These included: * Mer Soleil "Silver" which is a 2023 Chardonnay from Monterrey County * Caymus Suisun which is a 2023 Redgale Grenache from Suisun Valley * Caymus Suisun "The Walking Fool" which is a 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley * Caymus Suisun "Grand Durif" which is a 2021 Petite Sirah from Suisun Valley We went on a cold and rainy day but we were still able to enjoy the scenery and walk around the winery. I enjoyed all of the different types of wines and especially enjoyed the charcuterie board. It paired very nicely with the different types of wines.

Caymus is a beautiful winery tucked away in the heart of Suisun Valley. After months of hearing great reviews, I finally made the trip--and I can't believe I didn't visit sooner! I enjoyed it so much that I came back twice in three weeks! Beautiful grounds, peaceful scenery, and they even have music in the evening during the summer. You can choose to sit inside or out, as there is plenty of seating for all. Dominique was amazing, super personable, helpful, and genuinely passionate about the wines! The selection we tasted were good, but my favorite was the Grand Durif. It was bold, rich, and delicious!

Ask the Community - Caymus Suisun Winery

How can I get a reservation?

I made a reservation online my visiting their page on Google and booking through the Tok service.

Do they accommodate walk ins on the weekends for a wine tasting?

Is there a good place to eat near by?

Yes! Depending on the time of day, Village 360 offers coffee and breakfast items in the morning. Their pizza is good at lunch. Not sure how late they are open. This is a casual setting. More formal dining options can be found within a couple miles…

    Do they serve food?

They have a charcuterie board you can order when you make your reservation, that's it.

    Is it kid friendly?

Due to the nature of our tasting environment, we require that all guests be 21 years of age.

    Is this establishment dog friendly?

Due to the nature of our tasting environment, Caymus-Suisun Winery only allows ADA Service animals on premises. Otherwise, we are a pet-free property.

Couple others ordered the Cubano and said they enjoyed it. Service was attentive and quick. One odd moment occurred... me, my wife and her aunt arrived before others and ordered a cappuccino each. It came in a large glass mug. After the other 5 showed up they also ordered coffee but they received it in to go cups. When we asked why they said they ran out of clean coffee cups.... The views are spectacular and we sat outside. Definitely someplace to try again next time with a glass of wine.

There's a counter area where you can order coffee, pastries, breakfast items, or food to-go, while the left side has a hostess stand if you'd prefer full table service inside or on the patio. The brunch menu was a bit limited, and I ended up ordering the croissant sandwich. The croissant itself was soft and fresh, but overall the sandwich left me wanting a little more flavor. It was on the smaller side, didn't have much bacon, and even with the preserved tomato aioli it felt a bit underwhelming. The breakfast potatoes also weren't really my favorite. They were small whole potatoes with the skins on and heavily seasoned with cayenne pepper. Personally, I would've liked another side option such as fresh fruit. That said, the staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. For two croissant sandwiches, two iced teas, and a side of fries, the total came to around $70 with tip, which felt a little pricey for the overall experience. The property itself is beautiful. It looks like they host live music and events in the outdoor quad area, and I noticed they also offer wood-fired pizza after 11 AM, which honestly sounds worth coming back to try. Overall, I have mixed feelings as the atmosphere and service were great, but the food didn't quite live up to expectations for me personally.
