To my pleasant surprise, the seamstress there was able to repair it, using identical yarn, and the repair was pretty tough to even find afterward! How do they do that?! I am so impressed! And the cost? Just $8! Not only that, but it was dropped off on a Friday and ready for pickup the following Monday. I can't even say how long I write that sweater with that hole in it! If I had only known. Come to find out, Burbank Dry Cleaners is the same place that repaired my son's favorite suede jacket. Needless to say, they're getting bookmarked for all my clothing repairs!

This is the worst experience I had at a dry cleaners. I understand situations happen - what's more important is how the business takes care of matters afterwards. I called the next day at 8 am to share my concern and as I'm speaking to the employee, they do not want to compensate for the damage to get the buttons replaced but instead, asked me to drop off so they can replace them at their store. If it was a non-designer item, I don't have a problem getting the buttons replaced. However, a designer item is expensive and should uphold the same quality. That is why it's called a designer item. My complaint is clear, my jacket is damaged from the entire front, wrist area, and shoulder area. It's not just one button, all of them are damaged. The owner, Zach refuses to accept any of my video/pictures and would rather have me drop it off at the store so they can examine or come to my home to see "how they can fix it." Got a hold of the owner, Zach and he begins speaking to me in another language which I thought was quite rude and was very unprofessional. No apology offered, no compensation offered and was coming off in an aggressive manner which I did not appreciate. I will never be visiting this business again.

He noticed I was having trouble with the detergent dispenser because I did not have singles on hand, and asked if I needed change. Once I put the coins in and ordered what I wanted, I ordered the wrong detergent... (way to give myself away). Knowingly it was my fault at hand, I let him know that I'm sure they don't do refunds but I ordered the wrong detergent and if he wanted it back. Without questioning anything, he told me I can still get my money back. Damn, this type of excellent service threw my worries out the window, and for sure made me comfortable to come back again. Also parking is very open since if you don't find it in the lot, there's plenty of street parking, atleast around the time I arrived. Overall experience was easily a 5 and machines were all clean, ready to go and in working order. I've never been to a cleaners with so much personality. Everyone working there has a smile and are personable as if you've known them all your life. I'm very picky about everything, I will not allow just anyone to handle my cloths. What I love about them is if you give your clothing to them they will have it ready as promised the next day. I'm in a transportation industry where all drivers are instructed to take all their cleaning to Toluca Lake Cleaners. I have been doing business with them for the last ten years and as rushed and all ways on the run, drivers can cause self inflicted ink stains or accidental droplets of food stain on our shirts, my personal clothing ninety nine percent of the time was well taken care of, that one percent sadly I had to detach myself from due to my own carelessness. This is my third visit to the cleaners here, I go there for their same day service and they have very great alterations. The employee working is very always there to help you out and give the best service. They have a 20% off discount over there for me which I appreciate. The last cleaner I went to was nothing close to the service that they provide over here. My last cleaners ruined my tommy shirt. They were telling me that they threw it in the laundry accidently instead of dry cleaning it. Toluca Lake cleaners located in Burbank, CA knows exactly what they are doing and do it on time. When I moved to the Toluca Lake area I was worried about where I would take my clothes to be cleaned since my last dry cleaner did such great work. A friend of mine recommended Toluca Lake Cleaners and I'm so happy that they did because I have been able to trust them with anything I take to them including very delicate and expensive pieces of clothing! I travel across the country a lot. I don't happen to have a laundry with me so I use Dry Cleaning stores close to wear I am staying at the moment. I chose Toluca Lake Dry Cleaners because someone told me that they are great. They were wrong. They are AMAZING!!!!!!! They pressed and ironed my clothes very well. Studio One Hour Cleaners has lost my business for good…read more I dropped off an item for tailoring with clear instructions that it was needed by Tuesday at the latest. On Tuesday, I called to confirm, and they told me they were open until 7 p.m. When I arrived at 5 p.m., the doors were already closed. I returned Wednesday, only to wait while the owner called the tailor, who admitted she had taken the pants HOME. At no point did anyone inform me ahead of time that the tailoring was incomplete. This lack of communication was unprofessional and caused unnecessary stress. Eventually, the owner had to personally drive to retrieve the item. When I finally received the pants, the tailoring was poorly done and had to be redone elsewhere. Additionally, I had a strapless top dry-cleaned, and instead of using the built-in cloth straps to hang it, they used pins, which left visible damage. I have given this business multiple opportunities despite previous mistakes, but this was the final straw. A simple pick-up turned into a three-day ordeal, and the lack of professionalism, honesty, and quality speaks for itself. I cannot recommend Studio One Hour Cleaners. I support small businesses and unfortunately, I have to leave this review. I appreciate the effort to return the pants but not informing the client of the uncomplete pants in a priority situation is drawing the line after the way it was handled.

If l could give a negative star l would! My initial visit was pleasant. Karen, one of the owners…read morewas pleasant. I took a few items in the be dry cleaned. A pair of pants and a jumpsuit. I picked then up and everything seemed fine with these items. I also took in an off white silk blend blazer with a leather lapel. Which needed leather cleaning because of the lapel. I was quoted 35 dollars and that it would be ready in a week. I show up the 1st time to pick it up to be told that "He" whoever the hell "he" is" didn't get the dirt off the sleeve. This is where l became suspicious of what she was telling me. My blazer was hanging in the back like it had never gone out. So, l played along with it. Then l called about a week later and it still wasn't done. So, popped in again to find out what the deal is. Now, it will either be in that evening around 4:30 or in the morning. She wants me to call before l come. Because, you know LA traffic. Couldn't be to give her time to put it in plastic and on a hanger to pretend that it went out. Because that is exactly what happened. The blazer had Never been cleaned yall! I told her this blazer wasn't clean. It still had my perfume on it. And all of the dirt from the day l wore it for my birthday celebration. I told her l wasn't paying for that. Now she says yeah, l wasn't going to charge you for it! Bullshit! I told her l wasn't paying then she says l wasn't going to charge you. My advice, stay clear of this place. If she could get away with charging you and not doing the work she will. Im not even sure if my other pieces were truly cleaned. Don't do it! There are plenty of other cleaners that have integrity and will do good honest work. See my photos. This is how l took it in and how l picked it up!

I'd also like to support a local mom-and-pop business. However, I found the prices quite high. I paid $20 for each alteration. I think that's a fair price for the patching, but quite expensive for hemming. I don't think I will be coming back.
