To my pleasant surprise, the seamstress there was able to repair it, using identical yarn, and the repair was pretty tough to even find afterward! How do they do that?! I am so impressed! And the cost? Just $8! Not only that, but it was dropped off on a Friday and ready for pickup the following Monday. I can't even say how long I write that sweater with that hole in it! If I had only known. Come to find out, Burbank Dry Cleaners is the same place that repaired my son's favorite suede jacket. Needless to say, they're getting bookmarked for all my clothing repairs!

This is the worst experience I had at a dry cleaners. I understand situations happen - what's more important is how the business takes care of matters afterwards. I called the next day at 8 am to share my concern and as I'm speaking to the employee, they do not want to compensate for the damage to get the buttons replaced but instead, asked me to drop off so they can replace them at their store. If it was a non-designer item, I don't have a problem getting the buttons replaced. However, a designer item is expensive and should uphold the same quality. That is why it's called a designer item. My complaint is clear, my jacket is damaged from the entire front, wrist area, and shoulder area. It's not just one button, all of them are damaged. The owner, Zach refuses to accept any of my video/pictures and would rather have me drop it off at the store so they can examine or come to my home to see "how they can fix it." Got a hold of the owner, Zach and he begins speaking to me in another language which I thought was quite rude and was very unprofessional. No apology offered, no compensation offered and was coming off in an aggressive manner which I did not appreciate. I will never be visiting this business again.

It's obviously a cardigan. When I asked what the heck, I was told "it's just how they categorize them." Well, because it's "couture" so they "take better care of it." It's an old cardigan I found at an estate sale -- who cares who made it? It's not a fine dress or fancy whatnot. This incident followed a tailoring situation which involved no less than 3 visits. The 1st time, I requested the arm opening of a caftan be moved a few inches down a shoulder sleeve. Picked up, took it home, and found that the arm hole had been modified to look like a tiny penguin sleeve with a wee tiny hole my hand barely fit in. Took it back and found out the woman who took my initial order wasn't the one who did the failed work. Okay... so when I picked it up again, I found they'd simply unpicked making the arm hole smaller and didn't do the actual tailoring I'd initially requested. Because I didn't check the work when I got it home and then finally discovered when I tried to wear it weeks later, I was told I'd waited too long and would have to pay AGAIN for the work they'd never done. A manager finally agreed to actually have the work done that I'd paid $40 or $60 for after I had to tell the saga multiple times. Even though this place is close to my house, they charge whatever they want and their customer service when there's an issue is crap. Not worth the free popcorn.

He noticed I was having trouble with the detergent dispenser because I did not have singles on hand, and asked if I needed change. Once I put the coins in and ordered what I wanted, I ordered the wrong detergent... (way to give myself away). Knowingly it was my fault at hand, I let him know that I'm sure they don't do refunds but I ordered the wrong detergent and if he wanted it back. Without questioning anything, he told me I can still get my money back. Damn, this type of excellent service threw my worries out the window, and for sure made me comfortable to come back again. Also parking is very open since if you don't find it in the lot, there's plenty of street parking, atleast around the time I arrived. Overall experience was easily a 5 and machines were all clean, ready to go and in working order. For a few years, I went to all the dry cleaners in the area. I never really stayed with any particular store. I started to drop off with my dry cleaning in Alameda Cleaners. So, what made Alameda cleaners so different? It starts from the moment you walk in. They are always very friendly, doesn't make you wait, and more importantly, cares to do a great job with your clothes. They pay attention to detail and I have never been unhappy. They have returned several items that got left in suit pockets that I forgot to take out. I feel extremely comfortable with Alameda Cleaners handling our clothes. I highly recommend Alameda Cleaners. The alterations are done to perfection. I have had multiple items altered, and am always surprised at how professional they are done. I have also had many treasured bedspreads and pillow shams cleaned, and they come back looking like new. I love the hours, I am an early morning person, and love having all my errands done early in the morning, and I am always greeted as if I am an old friend. I usually take my alterations to a well known dry cleaners in Burbank, but I decided to try out a small local cleaners. I'm so glad I found this place in the local shopping center. I liked that they specialize in alterations for formal wear aside from all the other services they have. I met with Aram the owner and he was just awesome. So nice and helpful. Rima, (I think that's her name) is the seamstress and she did such an amazing job with my dress. I was worried because there are beads with such delicate material. Again, fantastic job! highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back

I took my suit here to get tailored and the whole experience was honestly not pleasant. He took all…read moremy measurements, so I thought it would come out right, but the work was done so poorly. The legs are so tight I can't even sit down. The fit is completely off and now my three thousand dollar suit feels ruined. What made it worse was the attitude. The person working there just seemed irritated and unhappy the entire time, like helping customers was a burden. There was no care in the service at all. The only positive thing about this place is the owners dogs because they're adorable. I'm giving two stars for the dogs alone. Everything else was an absolute mess, and I would not recommend.
