The prices were in the range of what we were expecting from other estimates for quality work. The Hudson Hardwood team (special thanks to Marcos) were both flexible and prompt and in staging the work in two steps: refinishing the existing floors and installing the new herringbone. We are super pleased with the results of the refinishing, and the newly installed white oak in a herringbone pattern is marvel to look at.

I had our first floor renovated in the house my grandparents bought in 1949. Underneath the dining…read moreroom and hallway carpet were the original floors made of Oak and Pine respectively. Floors I had never seen before until the renovation. The hallway floors also had tile on them which was underneath the carpet. Lucky all the floors were still in pretty good shape. My original kitchen contractor had pulled up the carpet and tile and sanded them. However, we parted ways before the job was done and I reached out to AC&T to do the floors because of their great reviews. It was true. Kevin amd his team are great! Kevin initially came out and looked at my floors, talked to me about what I wanted to do, made suggestions. The price for us was good and so we booked with them. We stayed in an airbnb for a few days while they worked on the floors because I was having them stained and we wouldn't be able to walk on them. The team came in and re-sanded all the floors including the steps and made them so much better. They also reinforced the steps and filled in any wood gaps all around. Pat e-mailed me 3 days before the men, Chris and Dave, came out to do the work restoring 2 marble bathroom floors that had been sprayed with a cleaner and damaged. Chris and Dave protected all the floors outside the bathroom and all the walls, glass, and vanities inside the bathrooms. They are extremely neat, professional, and courteous. They did an excellent job wet sanding (makes no mess), regrouting some areas, and resealing our stone floors. They worked with me on what sheen to apply on one bathroom floor and we chose a lighter shine. I highly recommend them.
