My mechanic said I should contact them to see if they would help with the repairs but I did a wire transfer and am pulling TRANSFER my bank and waiting for their responce. I contacted Kelly the night I bought it and parked it on the hospital to get a MRI and it was making clicking noises and not starting then. #kmmotorsports I just assumed it was a starter and the power steering needed to be fixed. Gray suits this business. There's no black and white--just lies. My son initially went to look at a Honda and liked it, so I met him there to check it out myself. Neither of us were allowed to test drive the vehicle, yet Kelly, the salesman, continued to push the deal. He claimed a woman had just had it inspected earlier, and that their shop had as well, with no issues to report. But he couldn't produce a single piece of documentation to back that up. Thankfully, I decided to wait until the next morning and took the car to a nearby shop for an independent inspection. Once it was on the lift, they found a significant hole. I strongly caution anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Tom Gray Motorsports. I bought a 2016 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid in March. Salesman Kelly Kearney told me the vehicle was in perfect mechanical condition and assured me that if the hybrid battery failed, he could get a replacement for approximately $1,000 and had someone who could install it. We specifically requested a battery-health check, but he refused. Only three months later, after multiple hybrid system failure notifications the hybrid battery failed completely. Porsche quoted me approximately $40,000 for a replacement and installation. I later confirmed with Porsche of Louisville that this exact vehicle had been in its shop about one month before my purchase and that Tom Gray Motorsports had been informed the hybrid battery was not working properly. This serious issue was never disclosed to me before the sale. I contacted Tom Gray Motorsports and gave them an opportunity to help resolve the situation, but they refused. Based on my experience, I feel I was seriously misled about the vehicle's condition and the true cost of a battery replacement. I am now seeking legal counsel. I recommend that buyers obtain an independent inspection, request all service records in writing, and not rely on verbal assurances before purchasing from this dealership. read more

Think twice before you buy a vehicle from Tom Gray Auto Sales. I was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps less than a year ago and needed a reliable vehicle to get me through grad school. I found a car on their website that looked perfect for what I needed and decided to check it out. They let me test drive it, but when I asked about a pre-purchase inspection, they would only allow it to be done at a mechanic of their choosing -- the same shop they admitted they use for all of their own work. Both Tom Gray Motorsports and that mechanic assured me the car was in great shape and only needed brakes. I already knew about the brakes and was completely fine with that. Two days after driving it off the lot, the car threw a code for a bad coil and plug. Annoying, but things happen with used cars, so I paid to fix it. While it was in the shop, my own mechanic looked the car over and found over $4,000 worth of additional issues that need to be addressed. The entire underside of the car is severely rusted. Not surface rust -- rotted out. Tom Gray did not mention this, and their mechanic downplayed it as minor surface rust from the winter weather. This car was presented and sold to me as being perfectly fine other than needing brakes. That simply wasn't true. So now, less than a year after coming home from the Marine Corps and trying to start grad school, I'm sitting here with what feels like a $10,000 paperweight that I can't rely on to get me to class. At best, Tom Gray Motorsports failed to do even the most basic due diligence before selling this car. At worst, they knew exactly what they were selling and chose not to say anything. Either way, I regret buying a car from them, and I would strongly recommend that anyone considering doing business with them get a truly independent inspection -- or, better yet, just go somewhere else. DISHONEST AND DECEPTIVE I bought a used car from Tom Gray and was flat-out misled by Kelly and Megan. Before purchasing, I noticed fluid in the engine bay and asked about it. I was told it was just residue from replacing the water pump (also turned out to be a lie) -- no big deal, nothing to worry about. Based on that, I went through with the sale. Less than two weeks later, the car started leaking coolant. A certified mechanic diagnosed a leaking radiator and a damaged hose -- both of which need to be replaced. This wasn't some new problem. It clearly existed at the time of sale and was deliberately covered up. Or maybe because I am a young female. When I contacted Tom Gray to make it right, they hid behind the "as is" clause and took no responsibility whatsoever. "As is" does NOT give you the right to mislead customers or lie about known issues. That's not just bad business -- it's unethical and illegal. I trusted this place and got burned. Do yourself a favor: take your business elsewhere. Literally, anywhere else. on the surface they seem like a reputable business, kelly the sales rep seems nice and helpful. I recently purchased a 2016 audi a6 it seemed like a nice car after a short test drive. after buying it, it seemed like it idled a little rough so I changed the spark plugs they were caked in oil, had it checked out it needs a valve gasket thats a $1200 job and it also needs brakes and rotors all the way around as well as control arms and outer tie rods oh and the front door speakers and dash tweeters were blown awesome. I brought this up to kelly but all I was told is their shop cleared the car and when he drove it it was fine, no I'm sorry no let me see what we can do to help he didn't even suggest a different car, so from the reviews on here they sell cars that are nice to look at to fool customers into thinking they are good cars and once sold once they have the money they can laugh all the way to the bank. Do not buy a car from Tom Gray. They are crooks. We bought a car from out of state and, like many other reviews here, almost immediately after receiving the car, the check engine light came on. We took it to a very large and reputable service shop in our state. They told us a major repair was necessary. We checked our paperwork and it was covered under the limited warranty that came with the car. We notified Tom Gray and they did everything in their power to avoid submitting and paying the claim under the insurance. They claimed that our repair shop must have broken the part and it wasn't their problem. These guys live up to the name of sleazy used car salesman. Buy somewhere else. read more
