Missed covering my nail.
Meredith P.

I've slept on writing this review for two days before writing one. So I came here because the Google reviews were great and they were open on Sunday. My boyfriend came with and got a pedicure with me. I also got sns. We were sat in pedi chairs immediately and assisted immediately. Someone did my nails while someone did my toes. The pedicures were great. The website said $28 for a basic pedicure. It was $30 on their "menu" in the salon. Because my boyfriend is a boy, the gal that did my boyfriends pedicure pushed for the "men's" pedicure. The difference from the Basic and the men's version is a sugar scrub and it's $5 more. I elected for just the basic pedicure for him. He didn't want the sugar scrub. The woman kept pushing the "men's" and I had to insist on the basic for him. She looked at his hands and told him he needed a manicure too--his nails are actually really nice given how hard he is on his nails. But he agreed. She told me it was $18. I didn't know what was listed, but that was fine. She then said I have discounted it by $5 and I will buff his nails for free. Which isn't that included in a manicure? Typically they paint nails but if you're not painting surely you can substitute buffing. Whatever. Now to my nails, I was cut a solid 5 times because the girl was in like super turbo mode. Like so turbo mode that my "enjoyable nail salon time" was stressful. It was busy but not like angry customer, line to wait kind of busy. I'm ticklish so when the girl doing my pedicure exfoliated my feet I moved the slightest bit and it happened to be when the girl doing my nails was doing all of the drill work. I vocalized that I was ticklish. Everyone understood. I did my best to not move. But like she could've stopped using the drill for 20 seconds for my feet to be exfoliated to avoid cutting me multiple times. When the girl put the dip on it was rigid. Some didn't go all the way to my cuticle, some didn't go to the side of my nail. I figured she would fix it. She didn't. I spoke up that she missed a part.l on the side of my nail-she said it was my cuticle-I told her it was actually my nail. I asked her to fix it so she cut it off. Then she said "see? It's your cuticle." If you can hear the click sound from the clippers, it was nail. I ended up having to go buy clippers and a file to try to fix my nails. Some nails were not even centered on my finger with the side too short, asymmetrically. I thought this was going to be a great place but was not a great experience. Should have waited until I got back home to Atlanta and go to my usual spot.

We just moved here from NY and I have not been able to find a nail salon that will just do a simple powder dip manicure.... Until I found this place! I walked in and was sat immediately. The technician Leah was amazing she did exactly as I asked and my nails look amazing! I can safely say I found my new nail salon and I will most definitely be back

I absolutely love this place!

I love this place! I went to m Vince's prior and they messed up my nails. Tom hill took them off and fixed the damage! They always spend their time and give you a friendly and relaxing environment. SNS with a design and gel top coat, and a pedicure (not even the cheapest) was only $85. I love it here, I'll always recommend them!

Beautiful clean and brand new salon. I love that they're open on Sundays and I could walk right in. I had sns done and I think they did a great job. I'll definitely be coming back ! They even have an iPad sign in (rare in Macon ga everything is old school here) and you can earn points to redeem as cash

1st time since moving to Macon. really cute, Jack did just what I asked for! SNS was shaved down thin so it didn't look thick & bubbly, like some nail techs leave it. will definitely return!

This is a really nice salon, I love how the flooring is nice and clean. The staff is nice and nail technicians do a great job. The SNS application that I received today was amazing and I was pleased with my shape and color.

I will NEVER return to this establishment for any services after how I was treated yesterday. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a nail salon & I'm extremely disappointed and displeased from the services. Although I'm sure no one even cares or will bother reading my long post, I need to get this off my heart and chest. First I wasn't greeted or acknowledged for the first 7-10 minutes I was there (extremely different from my first experience here & this was my second time), once my presence was acknowledged for me to inform staff that I was there for a fill in, I was asked to wait then sit when a chair was available. Due to the high volume of other customers there was an extended wait time (which I didn't mind) so I patiently awaited my turn. Once it was my turn I was seated with a male nail tech. I told him I would like a fill in and showed him a reference picture. He informed me that to do an ombre I'd need a fresh set so I agreed. (It should also be noted that I have LONG NATURAL NAILS & I get gel or acrylic on top of them). He began to remove the polish off & I thought he was about to remove the acrylic however he took a nail clipper & while rushing through just cut my nails any type of way on my right hand. I asked him why was he cutting off my real nails and with the acrylic on top of them? It caught me off guard and was upsetting. He said the acrylic and design would look better with my nails cut THEN ASKED if I wanted to keep my nails long. I told him that he already cut half of my nails off & Now there would be no reason to keep one hand long while the other hand is now super short but I didn't initially want my nails cut off at all. He continued to insist that my nails wouldn't look right long but he also didn't realize or even check to make sure they were my real nails. Then he gets to my left thumb with the nail clippers and cuts it so fast and low that he CUT OFF PART OF MY NAIL BED which led to a lot of blood coming out. I instantly began shaking & crying after yelling "OWW". He used a paper towel to put pressure on it but it kept bleeding, he used alcohol on the paper towel which burned and hurt worse, he then used super glue to stop the bleeding. I was in shock and unsure on what to even do next. I've never experienced anything like this. He apologized and stated "I'm sorry I cut your nail, I wasn't paying attention" & "I'm sorry your nails will grow back". He continued on & didn't shapen or tend to my real natural nails in anyway, they were left exactly as is after they were cut with the finger nail clippers. I cried for the next 30-45 minutes while he continued to do my nails, so many tears in my eyes I couldn't even see. Extremely hurt and frustrated that my thumb was hurting and I was so excited to engage in some self care & treat myself to getting my nails done for the experience to be so traumatizing especially because I hate crying in public and being embarrassed. As he did the designs on my nails he complained stating "this is too much work" upsetting me even more. Upon completion he stated he didn't charge me for the design since he cut my finger/nail & I paid $60. To be honest, my husband and mom told me my service should of been free after my nail bed being cut. It's 24 hours later and not only does my thumb still hurt but my feelings are hurt. So this was the last time I'll be spending my hard earned money at this establishment. This experience made me never want to get my nails done again at any nail salon especially if you don't care about how customers are treated nor the nail health of natural real nails. What sense does it make to cut off my long natural real nails to put fake nails on top? Regardless of my nails being long or short I will need a fill in within 2-3 weeks. I will include the pictures of my left and right thumb nails. I apologize if they're blurry but you can see how low/deep my nail bed was cut versus my other thumbnail that was cut low but you can see my nail bed attached to my nail

Very good and clean nail salon. Probably the best in Macon! My friends got the pink and white normal pedicure. The massage is very good and they felt very relaxed.

If you enjoy being in pain after a manicure then this is the place for you. I paid good money for less than mediocre manicure. The day after my fingers are still sore.

Beware :( after lying saying that she didn't cut me and still having to pay :/

Disappointed. This used to be my favorite salon.. now I have to go somewhere else after getting treated like Sugar Honey Iced Tea..

Nice place!

There were two massage therapists in the place, a man and a woman. The man started my massage did a great job, but about 10 mins in, another customer showed up and they switched. Her technique was lackluster at best. Very light pressure and felt very amateurish. It reminded me of when little kids want to rub your back. It was nice-- but far from relieving any knots or loosening any tight muscles. I asked for firm pressure twice and it didn't happen. I think if the male therapist had continued, it would have been great. He seemed to have much better technique. The customer who came in, asked for him, and wasn't happy about the lady working on him. I suppose he is a regular and knew better. I would come here again, but next time insist on the male therapist. I think there is a big difference in massage quality between the two. I typically have no preference as to the gender of my therapist, that wasn't the issue. I've received deep tissue massages by women, in other places and lack of firm pressure wasn't a problem. EDITED TO ADD: I decided to reach out to them, directly, and tell them I was not happy. They have offered to redo the massage at a steep discount, apologized and were VERY NICE about it! We all have off days, and I really appreciate it when a business reaches out and makes things right. I will be going back.
