Hannah was nice but clearly not experienced with the dip powder technique. It was like she was practicing on me, a paying customer. She used her fingernail to scrape off the existing old gel polish on one of my nails and I asked her why she wasn't using her implements? She said "so I don't hurt you" ??? Her application of the powder was clumsy. I finally asked the owner to take over. She did and my nails look stunning! Whew! She saved the day. My advice is do not book clients with inexperienced techs!!! It's frustrating and unprofessional. The lady behind me asked Rebecca to take over her pedicure because the guy who was working on her clearly didn't know what he was doing either!! This is not ok when we come in to support your business. Retrain your staff or hire qualified professionals. 4 stars for the final result. 1 star for the unprofessionalism.

I went to this shop to try them out since they're close to my apartment. Being that I was only trying them out, I opted for a basic mani-pedi to see how their services and customer service were. If the basics were good, I would come back for upgraded services. If they couldn't handle the basics, why would I come to spend $50+ Now let me preface this by saying that I completely understand the reason behind upselling and trying to get customers to spend more money, and that's not my issue. My issue is, throughout the process the nail tech tried to get me to upgrade by saying things like, "well maybe if you have more money next time, you can get the better pedicure." Now, this rubbed me the wrong way because money was not the reason I didn't want upgraded services. And if it was, I would've been embarrassed by the tech calling me out on it. Furthermore, her sales pitch for the upgrades didn't provide any beneficial information. When trying to sell me on acrylic nails, she just kept saying, "when we make your nails longer, that's better." But she failed to explain how that would be better. Or when trying to convince me to upgrade my pedicure, I asked which product in the upgrade would make my heels easier to work with and she never answered the question. Lastly, the nail painting left much to be desired. There was polish on my cuticles both on my toe and fingernails. Needless to say, I will not be back.

I wasn't paying close attention at the time but I suspect some on the brushes and pumice stone had been previously used.
